Chapter Text
Their second day with Foolish and Karl, or the fourth day overall was their “working” day, where George decided to ‘copy’ Tommy’s video. This was the day where fans came up to them to talk, and their online personas were more than their more relaxed selves. It was fun, goofing off on video, and it was easy to stay big when you were thinking about work, even if they did get a few warnings from staff about recording.
Then came their fifth day, and Karl and Foolish’s last day to hang out with them. Instead of spending most of their day at the park, they actually stayed behind at the hotel and enjoyed a nice pool day. It wasn’t crowded, as most people wanted to be at the parks, but there were a few families around having a relaxed day. Karl got Foolish to go down the water slide a few times with him, and even Sapnap got Dream to go down.
Though, they spent most of their time at the Bay pool, which was a quieter and smaller area. Though kids were allowed, there wasn’t anyone under 15 or 16 there, and there was light chatter, but nothing as loud as the other one which you could hear, but it faded with the distance between the pools. Punz and Sapnap were basically attached at the hip; Punz just slowly swam around, while Sapnap was latched onto his back. Dream and Foolish were sitting on the lounge chairs, mindlessly chatting, while Punz and George were sitting at the poolside bar eating some chips.
It was a relaxing day, one the group needed. And, when they were sick of the pool, they used the basketball courts not too far from the hotel and played a 3v3 game. Of course, when Sapnap, Dream, and Punz team up, the winners are clear. Foolish, however, did put up a good match, and George could show off tricks.
Sapnap, arguably, made the most shots that won his team. Dream insisted they were luck shots, even though they were playing on the same team.
“Why are you fighting me?! We’re on the same team!” Sapnap laughed after they won another match and Sapnap dubbed himself the won who gave them the win.
“Because you’re full of shit!” Dream shouted, catching the ball as it was bounced to them. “Alright, we need to switch around teams, George, you go with Punz and Sapnap, they’ll carry you. I’ll carry Karl and Foolish!” They called.
“You’re full of it, Dreamie boi!” Sapnap laughed as Dream bounced the ball to him, just for Sapnap to check back.
Sapnap’s team won the first few games, which Sapnap used as bragging rights. But, as Foolish got more into it, he started shooting better and the odds flipped. They were tied and decided to do a final match before switching teams around again.
“Losers buy ice cream and drinks for everyone?” Sapnap decided to add on as he dribbled the ball around.
“Fine,” Dream huffed with a small smile. “Always have to add stakes, don’t cha?”
“That’s what makes it fun, darlin’,” Sapnap winked, checking the ball to Dream, who bounced it back.
The final game was longer than any ones that they’d played before. And, to make a comeback from his struggle in the games before, George shot the winning hoop.
“LET’S GO!” Sapnap laughed, high-fiving George and pulling him into his arms from the side, laughing as Punz lifted the Brit into the air. “Ice cream and drinks, suckers!”
“Ugh, you suck ,” Dream whined, but laughed gently as they all were panting. “Alright, let’s go get some ice cream and drinks.”
When Karl and Foolish did have to leave them, Sapnap made it the biggest deal with an over dramatic groan and trying to bargain with them.
“Don’t leave us,” Sapnap whined, “We’re having so much fun! I’ll call Jimmy!”
“Sorry, Nick,” Karl smiled, wrapping his arms around his friend from behind. “We’ve already missed a day of filming.”
“Jimmy sucks,” Sapnap decided, and they all laughed gently as Sapnap turned around and wrapped his arms around Karl’s waist. “You can’t go anywhere if I don’t let you go,” He decided.
“If you let me go, when we’re done filming I might be able to convince Foolish to come back down and spend a couple weeks at your place again,” Karl tried bargaining. Sapnap pretended to think about it, before groaning and letting Karl go after one final squeeze. “Thank you, darlin’,” Karl teased, kissing Sapnap’s forehead.
“I’m gonna pout until I see you again,” Sapnap insisted, already jutting his bottom lip out.
“You three, kiss him better,” Karl said, and Punz chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Sapnap from behind, making playful kissy noises. “Don’t leave Punz alone. Get in there, you two,” Karl said, pointing at Dream and George, who both chuckled lowly at the implications, but Dream walked over anyway, fluffing Sapnap’s hair.
“We’ll see you soon?” Dream asked, and Foolish smiled.
“Yes, after we’re done filming, should Dream allow it, we’ll come visit,” Foolish promised, wrapping his arms around Dream in a hug as it was offered. Karl then shared a squeeze from Dream before moving over to George and Punz. “Thank you for the invite, though. It’s been a while since I’ve had this much fun without having to work the entire time.”
“Just wait until I take them to Universal,” Dream winked and Foolish chuckled as Dream pat his shoulder. “See ya later, guys.”
“Bye! Love ya!” Karl called.
“Love you too, Karl!” Sapnap shouted after him, pouting again as the door shut. “I miss him.”
“Am I your boyfriend or is he?” Punz asked, and Sapnap snorted, looking up at him and puckering his lips for a kiss.
“Says the one who was flirting with Foolish the entire time,” Sapnap shot back after the small kiss.
“Have you seen him?” Punz defended himself, and Dream snorted as he got a soda out of the fridge. “So, what’s the plan for tomorrow?” He asked, noting how it was dark out so they probably weren’t gonna do much of anything for the rest of the day.
“We could do the parks again, we haven’t been to EPCOT yet,” Dream offered.
“Doesn’t EPCOT have, like, some of the big coasters?” Sapnap asked, “Like it’s fucking huge, right?”
“It’s the technology side of the parks,” Punz nodded, “We could do that for a while. Maybe get Dream to do some of the bigger rides for our final send off?”
“I’ve already done the rides,” Dream whined.
“I want a deal,” Sapnap said suddenly, and Dream raised an eyebrow in question. “I will not make you do any bigger rides, smaller ones like the peter pan ride are still on the table, but nothing with drops. I will not ask you for anything monetary wise. And I will give you a hundred bucks cash to do Expedition Everest, the biggest coaster, in the Animal Kingdom”
Dream groaned, leaning back against the counter, staring at Sapnap as he thought about it. Sapnap quirked an eyebrow in challenge, and Dream sighed. “No more bigger rides?” He asked, and Sapnap nodded.
“It’ll be our last ride at Disney,” Sapnap promised, “Leave with a bang. Just you and me.”
Dream sighed, looking at George who smirked at the implications. “What’re they gonna do?” Dream asked.
“I’m sure we can figure out something to do in the three minutes the ride takes, plus the waiting time,” George promised, looking over at Punz who smiled with a nod.
Dream sighed, biting the inside of their cheek, “Fine, but keep your money,” Dream said, and Sapnap lit up like a Christmas tree.
“Wait, really? That's it?” Sapnap asked, and Dream smiled.
“It’s Disney,” Was Dream’s only response.
(-8-)
After spending most of their day in EPCOT, they moved on to Animal Kingdom. They weren’t doing their grand finale yet, they still had time. For right now, Dream was enjoying time interacting with animals around the park. Eventually, though, the team got hungry, and it was getting close to dinner, so they decided to sit down and eat.
Punz and Dream insisted on getting their dinner so George and Sapnap could look around some more, and they’d meet near the entrance and walk around as they ate. George and Sapnap weaved through shops as they wandered their way through the park, laughing at each other as silly glasses and clothing was put on. Eventually, Sapnap started walking a little too close to George, which gave the Brit the perfect advantage to put his arm around Sapnap as they walked.
“So, Expedition Everest, huh?” George asked, looking over to where the ride could be seen from where they were standing.
“Yeah,” Sapnap mumbled, looking over as well. He took a deep breath, looking up at George. To be fair, now would be the perfect time. They’re alone, it’s the final day, exactly what Punz and him had been talking about before they even arrived (though their plans of talking about it more in depth weren’t achieved).
“Well, the adrenaline is sure to run through him,” George smiled, looking down at him. “He’ll hate and love it. Though, he’s only doing it because he loves you. And it’s you .”
“I love him too,” Sapnap mumbled, and George smiled as they stopped walking, and George ushered them aside, off the main walkway to underneath an awning of a closed shop. “George…” Sapnap started, suddenly feeling shy and unsure about this entire thing. He pulled his arms underneath his chest. “I know I told you, when I was little, about how I felt. About all of you.”
“Yes,” George nodded, leaning against the bricks.
“And nothing has changed,” Sapnap said, and George nodded, willing him to go on. “I… I never asked if-if I made you uncomfortable. With my feelings. I guess I should’ve a long time ago…”
“Why would you make me uncomfortable?” George asked gently, careful to keep his voice down.
“Because it’s not everyday your friend says he’s in love with you and your partner,” Sapnap scoffed, shocked at himself for even saying love out loud. “And, I mean, it’s not like you’ve told me anything, so I’m kinda just… at a loss here, man.”
“Well, I was waiting for Dream, but,” George started, before snagging the pocket of Sapnap’s hoodie and pulling him closer quite quickly. Sapnap jumped at the sudden movement, and inhaled sharply at the loss of space between them. A quick glance to his lips, and George’s lips quirked into a smile as Sapnap’s heart pounded.
George kissed him.
Scratch that.
George was kissing him .
Sapnap made the smallest squeak of surprise before his hands reached up to hold the back of George’s neck, keeping him there. George was holding his waist so tight , as if afraid Sapnap would run. How could he run? George’s lips were so perfect, and the warmth that blossomed within was more effective at warming him up than any sun could be. Pulling back was almost like a stab in the chest for Sapnap, but they were in public, and they did have to act like it.
Sapnap released a shaky breath, not opening his eyes for a second as George leaned down next to his ear, effectively hugging him. “I can confidently say, I want you both,” George whispered. “And I can say, so does Dream. So, it’s up to you and Punz now, what you want.”
“We want you,” Sapnap whispered, “We’ve been talking about since the day we confessed, because we weren’t sure we’d be good for each other while in love with you two.”
“Then we’re all going to leave this park and go home very, very happy,” George said, pulling back enough to look at Sapnap properly. Sapnap pulled him down, needing one more kiss just to be sure, and George didn’t deny him. As if he ever could.

“So, we had pizza the other day, we also had pasta, we had sushi last night though I don’t think they sell sushi in this park,” Dream mumbled as they walked. “Panda express?” They offered, pointing at it on a sign. It looked to be a ways walk, but Punz nodded.
“Sure,” They agreed with a warm smile over to him, and Dream return it, leading him down. “So, you really agreed to the ride that easily?” Punz asked, and Dream chuckled softly.
“I’m not looking forward to it,” Dream mumbled, “Or… well maybe a little. It’ll be nice seeing Sapnap so happy. I think that’s why I did it. I like making you two happy; I like making all of you happy.”
“And, you’re very successful in doing that,” Punz said, and Dream smiled over at him.
“So… officially boyfriends huh?” Dream teased, and Punz snorted. “What? You two haven’t told us anything .”
“We’re just… going with the flow,” Punz started, “It… was more a slip-up than anything, but I guess if he didn’t mind. Then yeah.”
“Then why do you sound so unsure?” Dream asked, stuffing his hands in his jacket pockets.
“I’m not unsure,” Punz scoffed, crossing their arms around themself, almost defensively. “I know what I want.”
“I’m not saying you don’t. But, your body language tells me you’re getting defensive, which means you’re hiding something.”
“I’m not-”
“Luke,” Dream said, and they stopped walking. Punz sighed shakily, biting the inside of his cheek. “What? Did you do something? Did you kiss Foolish during a slow ride?” They were trying to relieve a little tension.
“What? No,” Punz chuckled. “I haven’t… kissed anyone else. It’s…”
“You know about Sapnap’s little… situation?” Dream asked, and Punz raised an eyebrow. “Well, when we went to his Dad’s house, he told me he couldn’t… date you because he doesn’t think it’d be fair to you. Because he’s in love with… other people as well.”
“ Other people? Meaning you don’t know who these other people are? Wait, he told George, not you,” Punz mumbled, slightly talking to himself at the end.
“So you do know?” Dream asked.
“Oh, yeah we talked about that when we ‘properly’ got together a little while ago. I’ve been known about that, hell, I could’ve told you that,” Punz said, slightly brushing it off.
“Then what is it?” Dream asked.
“We need to get dinner,” Punz smiled, deciding to ignore the question. He pat Dream on the arm before walking down the walkway again, taking a deep breath to themself. Dream rolled their eyes, sighing to themself as they followed Punz.
After they got their food, Dream took over carrying the bag. Punz seemed lost in thought, subconsciously biting their lip as they walked along. The silence was killing Dream, but he also didn’t want to push the other too far. He tried not to think about it as they walked to find Sapnap and George, meeting up with them.
Punz stopped just a ways away from their friends, who were sitting at a metal picnic-like table. “Nick isn’t the only one,” Punz said, looking up at Dream.
“What?” Dream asked.
“I love the same people he does,” Punz said with a small smile. “I’m just not so sure they love me back.”
Punz’s smile turned a little sad as his eyes dropped, and continued walking to the other two. “Luke, what’s that supposed to-” Dream called, but Punz ignored him as he took a seat next to Sapnap, leaning their forehead against Sapnap’s shoulder, “-mean?” Dream finished quietly to himself, before huffing lightly and walking over to the table and sitting down next to George.
“Is something going on?” George asked, looking between the two.
“We’re fine,” Punz answered quickly, and Sapnap looked over at him with an interesting look. Punz just smiled at him, before snagging the bag from Dream’s side of the table. “Gimme my chicken.”
George looked over at Dream, who just shrugged in slight confusion. Sapnap started talking to relieve some of the tension, but a hand landed on Punz’s thigh reassuringly, which also helped Punz slowly fade back into more of his normalcy. Dream wasn’t up to question, it seemed, so they let it be and laughed along with the stupid jokes and made some of his own.
When they were done eating, both Dream and George decided they both needed to piss, interestingly, at the same time. Sapnap decided not to even bother teasing them about it, and promised they’d stay right where they were at by the time they got back. It was perfect, because he so badly wanted to question Punz about what the hell happened. Once the two were out of earshot, Sapnap’s attention was fully on Punz.
“What happened? You seemed really tense when you two arrived, did something… go wrong?” Sapnap asked, and Punz raised an eyebrow in question before it dawned.
“What? Oh- oh no not at all, not like that at least,” Punz said, shaking their head. “No, Dream just started talking about me and you and… it got me thinking. What if they don’t want me? I mean, if you think about it, it’s been you three since… well forever it feels like. The three of you are so attached-”
“Woah, woah,” Sapnap said, pumping the brakes on Punz’s train of thought. “Punz- Luke , this isn’t happening without you. I-I won’t let it.”
“I mean, you could date me and them, they just wouldn’t be dating me,” Punz reasoned, face saddening at the thought.
“Did… did you ask?”
“I mean, I was going to,” Punz mumbled, “I chicken-shit out, though. Dream can just-just be so intimidating sometimes!”
“Babe,” Sapnap sighed, running a hand over his face. “They want you too.”
“You don’t know that-”
“I do. I very much do,” Sapnap insisted, nodding almost aggressively into his hands. “Babe, you left me alone with George . Dream’s the one emotionally constipated when it comes to confessing feelings.”
Punz lit up, “Wait, you mean you-you got him?”
“He kissed me, so… I assume so,” Sapnap said, and Punz smiled. “And he said that want us. Both of us. They were just worried that we didn’t want them . By they I mean Dream, because I did tell George- you know that- either way it’s us .”
“Are you sure?” Punz asked, and Sapnap smiled fondly, pulling Punz in to kiss them gently. Punz sighed softly, pressing their foreheads together when they pulled apart with closed eyes.
“I’m sure,” Sapnap promised, “I think you and Dream need a do-over.”
“We don’t have time, after your ride with Dream… we’re leaving,” Punz mumbled, and Sapnap bit the inside of his cheek.
“Why don’t you ask him to get dessert with you?” Sapnap offered, “We don’t have to get on the ride quite yet, there’s still more hours in the day. And, I mean, George was supposed to let Dream get me first, but I mean hey… it is what it is.”
“Are you sure?” Punz asked, pulling back and opening his eyes.
“If I wasn’t, we wouldn’t be here doing this,” Sapnap promised.
Over with Dream and George, George was the one that actually had to piss. Lines, however, were long out of the split gendered bathrooms, so the two snuck into the family bathroom just around the side and locked it.
“So, what the hell happened with Punz?” George asked as he sat down and Dream went to wash his face.
“I’ve got no clue,” Dream mumbled, splashing water on their face. “We were talking about him and Sapnap. And I was wondering if he knew about Sapnap being polyamours, and yeah they know. But then he dropped the bombshell that he’s also polyamours, and said the people he’s in love with might not love him back.”
“He thinks we don’t love him back?” George said, eyebrows pressed together as if he was deep in thought for a moment before he wiped, flushed, and forced Dream out of his way to wash his hands.
“What makes you think it’s us?” Dream asked.
“Oh my god, Dream, you’re so fucking dense it hurts,” George groaned, grabbing a paper towel and wiping his hands dry before turning and looking at Dream. “They’re both in love with us. They have been. We are the people Sapnap was talking about at his Dad’s. Me and you, and maybe Foolish and Karl but I- that’s not the point.”
Dream sighed, biting the inside of his cheek, and George raised an eyebrow. “You figured that out, though, didn’t you?” He asked, and Dream quirked an eyebrow in acknowledgement.
“I mean, I had a suspicion since his reaction at his dads when I asked if he was in love with me,” Dream mumbled, “And then this trip, when he’s big, kinda just solidified it. But,” Dream sighed, running a hand through his hair.
“What? Don’t tell me you’re scared and wanting to back out now,” George said.
“Of course not,” Dream said, running a hand through his hair. “But I might’ve fucked up everything with Punz now!”
“Then fix it . Isn’t that what you’re always doing? Trying to fix something. It’s Punz . It’s Luke . If it ain’t me, or Sapnap, who knows him. It’s you ,” George said. “If you knew, why didn’t you say anything?”
“I didn’t want to be wrong,” Dream mumbled. “I mean, look at them with Karl and Foolish. It’s so easy, they’re easy.”
“Loving someone isn’t easy, Clay. And it’s not meant to be,” George reminded. “That's what we agreed on when we started dating. Throughout everything, we’d stick through it. We both knew it wasn’t going to be easy. Sap- Nick loves the fuck outta you. He always has, I’ve always seen it. You saved his life, how could he not?”
“And Punz?” Dream mumbled, “Nick? Yeah, I mean… I get it. It’s always been us, one of my longest standing friends, if not the longest, but… Luke…”
“You’ve created a safe space for Punz that he’s not had before. With the age regression, and the gender identity, and the clothes, pronouns, whatever. All of it, Clay- you gave him a home. You gave us a home. How could we not fall in love with you? You’re like the protection we never got. And you love so unconditionally that it’s… amazingly overwhelming. Luke already told you he loves us. So go say it back. And give him a kiss while you’re at it.”
Dream cracked a smile, “Thought you wanted that first,” He teased.
“Yeah, well… I kinda got to Sapnap first, so we can swap.”
“Oh you ass,” Dream teased, and George chuckled as Dream pulled him closer, leaning down and kissing him gently. “You’re sure you want this?” Dream whispered, as George wrapped his arms around Dream’s shoulders.
“I already kissed one of them, I’m getting the other kiss with or without you,” George teased, and Dream scoffed lightly, leaning down and kissing him one more time. “C’mon, let’s sneak out of here before people start knocking.”
“Good idea,” Dream whispered.
And, thankfully, they were able to sneak out successfully.
When they returned to the table, George and Sapnap shared eye contact. Sapnap raised an eyebrow, and George smirked knowingly as he sat down.
“Dream! Before you sit, can we go get treats?” Punz asked, smiling slightly shyly. “Sap wants a churro, and I want an ice cream cone.”
“I want a churro,” George piped up, and Dream glanced at him.
“Well, I don’t see why not. Though I do remember a certain someone saying they wouldn’t ask me for anything in exchange for going on a ride,” Dream teased, and Sapnap handed Punz a twenty dollar bill. “I’m joking- give it back,” Dream said, looking at Punz.
“Nah keep it, emotional support,” Sapnap winked.
“Emotional support for a churro?” George questioned.
“Sometimes the people running the stands are mean, Georgie,” Sapnap scoffed, “Andrew Jackson’s just there to help out.”
“Whatever, c’mon,” Dream chuckled, wrapping his arm around Punz and pulling him away from the other two men.
“Think we fixed it?” Sapnap asked, and George shrugged as he took a sip of his soda.
“I sure hope so,” George mumbled, running a hand along his face. “Also, Dream’s been onto you since your Dad’s house.”
“Figured, things shifted between us after that,” Sapnap mumbled. “Not significantly, but I noticed it.”
“Anyone would, if they shared yours and their relationship,” George hummed, looking over at Sapnap, who met his eyes and smiled at him.
Dream chuckled as they walked along, dropping his arm from around Punz’s shoulder after a while. Their silence was comfortable, but there was an edge to it as neither one knew how to start. The sounds of people chattering and children screaming gave them no sort of privacy, of course, they weren’t gonna get any. They were in public, so they walked along to a sweets stop to get some treats.
They got a couple churros, some of those long stick lollipops, some Mickey chocolates, and of course, Punz’s ice cream bar. Because of the heat, Punz had to start eating it right as they stepped outside. That wasn’t the problem.
“Dream! It’s melting too fast! Should’ve gotten a cupcake wrapper,” Punz pouted as ice cream started getting all over his hands. Dream laughed, snagging some napkins off a food cart and waving at the seller before handing them over to Punz.
“You got a little-” Dream started, before wiping the sides of Punz’s mouth and subconsciously licking his thumb.
“Did you just lick white cream off my mouth?” Punz questioned, which made Dream snort and roll his eyes. “Kinda sus, dude. Not gonna lie.”
“That’s kinda sus?” Dream questioned, “You’re literally spilling said white cream all over yourself.”
“So lick it off,” Punz insisted, lifting his hand, which was covered in ice cream since the napkins were drenched. Dream took it, and did lick it off his pointer finger. Punz was quick to be grossed out by the feeling of Dream’s tongue. “Ew! I wasn’t serious!”
“You offered!” Dream laughed, which got Punz to laugh. “That is pretty good, though.”
“Yeah, but now I’m all sticky,” Punz huffed, finishing the last of what he could before tossing it, and Dream laughed as he led him to a bathroom so he could wash his hands.
Punz was quick, and Dream stayed outside holding their treats against a shadowed wall. This area was kinda quiet, shockingly. Then again, there was a show going on at this hour, so that’s where most people congregated. When Punz returned, Dream noticed he forgot to wipe his mouth.
“Did you look in the mirror?” Dream asked, and Punz pressed his eyebrows together confused. “You got white shit all over your mouth, Luke.”
“Dammit-” Punz laughed, going back in and snagging a paper towel, wetting it, and wiping his face before returning to Dream. “Better?” He asked.
“Eh, I like you more with the white cream,” Dream teased, and Punz rolled his eyes. “I don’t wanna move yet. The sun hurts,” they pouted.
“Did you put sunscreen on? Your neck looks a little burnt,” Punz said, lifting Dream’s chin up.
“I forgot to reapply,” Dream mumbled, and Punz tsked.
“Dumbass,” He said, and Dream rolled his eyes as they released his chin. “C’mon, they gotta be worried by now.”
“We’ve not been gone that long,” Dream scoffed, “They’re just next to that building.”
“If my phone starts ringing, Dream-”
“It’s not my fault you can’t properly eat ice cream!” Dream teased, and Punz playfully pushed them back into the wall as they moved to get off of it. Dream, however, being the quick one, grabbed his hand and pulled them with him, getting Punz to stumble momentarily as they tried moving backwards. “Damn, fallin’ for me, are ya?”
“One, that’s a bad line. Especially in the context where you pulled me, I didn’t fall,” Punz started, “Two, yes, actually. And I have been for months now, maybe closer to a year, thank you for finally noticing.”
“Oh shut up and come here,” Dream said, cupping Punz’s chin and lifting his head a fraction of an inch as Dream met them the rest of the way, sealing their lips. Punz’s hands clenched into Dream’s shirt, sighing sharply as they melted into one another.
The sweetness of the ice cream lingered on Punz’s lips, which was the smallest factor as to why Dream pressed down for more. Dream’s hand dropped from Punz’s face and wrapped around his waist, the bag of sweets dropping slightly on his arm to his waist, though it didn’t pull them apart. Warmth, smooth, and ever-so-gentleness made Punz short circuit momentarily.
When they did pull apart, it was barely a couple inches as they could feel each other breathing; Punz blinked repeatedly. Their hands released from a fist in his shirt to a flat palm. “I can feel your heartbeat,” Punz whispered, and Dream chuckled softly. “Are you really that nervous?”
“Can you blame me?” Dream asked, “I’m trying to make moves here.”
“Well, if it’s any consolation, your moves are working,” Punz whispered, “You’ve swooned me.”
“Good,” Dream said, “Because I want you to be ours: mine, George’s, Nick’s… our’s,” Dream said, dropping the bag of sweets to freely hold Punz’s face in his hands.
“Only if you kiss me one more time,” Punz whispered, and Dream smiled, pulling him the small space closer to lace their lips together once more.
(-8-)
“Are you ready?” Sapnap asked as they got to the front of the line. Dream sighed, staring at Sapnap adoringly and shaking his head.
“I can’t believe I actually agreed to this,” Dream mumbled, smiling at one of the workers as they passed them.
“It’ll be fun! You can hold my hand if you want to,” Sapnap offered, and Dream rolled his eyes. “We gotta end this trip with a bang.”
“Oh we could still end it with a bang,” Dream muttered, and Sapnap slapped his arm as they laughed. Sapnap rolled his eyes.
“Watch your mouth,” Sapnap mumbled, and Dream shrugged.
Finally, they got to enter the coster cars; and, as Dream’s luck would have it, they got the first row. Dream whined, but he smiled as he saw how giddy Sapnap was getting. They both knew Sapnap was just as anxious as Dream was, because he too wasn’t the biggest fan of big coasters, but the fact that he got Dream on it was enough for him.
“I’m going to regret this,” Dream groaned as the gates opened to let them in.
They sat down, adjusting in their seats and following the instructions to pull their lap bar down. That’s when it all kind of clicked in Dream’s head that this was real, and they sighed really shakily. Sapnap slipped his hand in theres, and Dream glanced over at them with a soft, very fake, smile. Sapnap giggled at it, shaking his head fondly, which turned their smile into a real one.
Soon, they were moving, and Dream’s heart leapt into his throat. They moved slowly at first, reaching the first uprise early. A nice even speed as they went along, it was beautiful in the sunset. Their real hill caused Dream to tremble, and Sapnap rubbed their hand gently as they inched towards the top. There wasn’t a huge dip at the end, like Dream was expecting, they instead moved faster around a slight curve and into a fake cave, coming upon a ‘broken track’.
“Oh, I hate you,” Dream whispered, glancing at Sapnap as he laughed slight, then clutching their lap bar as they started to go backwards, something Dream expected but was not prepared for.
They moved in the dark, Dream couldn’t really tell with direction they were going, but soon they came to a stop, and an area of the cave lit up to reveal a monkey of some kind, a gorilla most likely (or so Dream thinks), destroying a track, the people behind them having mixed feelings and reactions. Some loved it, some said how they hated this part. There was another small incline after that, and then there was the heart-leaping drop.
Sapnap and Dream were very different when it came to drops. Sapnap screamed, and Dream was dead-silent and probably showing visible fear as he clutched Sapnap’s hand. Their speed picked up even more, and Dream could feel the g’s as they turned corners and swirled around like a marble in a funnel. There was a final cave, some more monkey cries, and then they were done.
As soon as Dream saw the platform again, he breathed a sigh of relief. “Never again,” Dream mumbled, and Sapnap laughed.
“It’s not that bad,” Sapnap insisted, looking over at Dream. Both of their head’s of hair were a mess, but somehow, Dream just looked more… Dream because of it. Dream said something, but Sapnap was too busy staring to hear. “What?” He asked, after blinking.
Dream just laughed, shaking his head. “I said you’re right, it wasn’t terrible, but I’m still not doing it again.”
As they got out, Sapnap accepted Dream’s hand to wiggle through the other side of the seat and step on the platform. Though, they didn’t let go as they wandered down the exit ramp and into the mini-gift shop that also doubled as the photograph station.
“You look so scared!” Sapnap said, pointing to their photo. He almost sounded bad. “I look awesome.”
“You’re a dick,” Dream mumbled, shaking their head and running a hand through their hair.
“You love me,” Sapnap teased, and Dream smiled.
“Yes, I do,” Dream agreed, smiling knowingly as Sapnap didn’t respond right away, taking a moment to breathe. Though, Dream didn’t miss how the corner’s of his lips quirked up.
“We should go find them,” Sapnap said, pulling Dream away by his hand again.
The sunset was warm against them. They didn’t release each other’s hand as they walked. Nowhere near where they needed to go to meet their friends, but they were going to pretend that that’s what they were doing. Just going to meet Punz and George. They found themselves near a lake, probably another attraction, but nobody was really around. It was pretty, though.
“I think we strayed further,” Sapnap said, though he didn’t seem too concerned as he looked up at Dream.
“I think they’ll be okay,” Dream said, standing in front of Sapnap, hand still entangled with his. “You lied to me.” Sapnap raised an eyebrow in question. “You told me you weren’t trying to steal my man. You lied to me.”
Sapnap chuckled slightly under his breath, “He kissed me first, man-” he pretended to try and explain as he looked out to the water.
Dream smiled, “Which is bullshit because I called dibs on kissing you first.”
“What?” Sapnap said, snapping his eyes back up to Dream.
Dream dropped his hand in favor of holding both sides of his face, pulling him in just enough to press the gentlest of kisses against Sap’s lips. Timidly, of course, because Dream was hardly ever confident. Sapnap then realized how right Karl truly was, as he gripped the front of Dream’s shirt to close that gap again, before releasing the fabric and letting his arms drift down to Dream’s hips and hold him there.
“I love you,” Dream whispered against his lips, barely pulling back enough to tell him. Sapnap answered them with another kiss.
When they did finally pull apart, Sapnap raised his hand into their hair, pulling their head to rest against his forehead. “I lied to you twice: I told you ’probably not’, dumbass,” Sapnap said, and Dream laughed, pulling him in just to kiss him one more time.
“C’mon, let’s go find the other two,” Sapnap mumbled, though he didn’t really try to pull away.
“I mean, they’re probably not doing anything much differently,” Dream mumbled, and Sapnap chuckled as he did finally pull back.
“C’mon,” Sapnap mumbled, pulling Dream with him again.
(-8-)
These two were fucking around in an arcade, which is totally fair because they loved arcades. Punz laughed as he kicked George’s ass in the basketball game, but wasn’t laughing anymore as George wiped him in that one game where you roll the balls to try and get it to the 1000 cups. You know the one.
The announcement called the arcade closing. And George had a very bright idea to use the photo booth. “Don’t we have enough photos?” Punz laughed as they got in.
“None like this,” George insisted, “Besides, it’s like, the best part of an arcade.”
“Other than the prizes,” Punz disagreed.
“I’d argue this is better,” George said, deciding to sit on Punz’s leg since the bench really wasn’t big enough for two grown men. As the machine started up, Punz decided to start fucking with George to get some genuine smiles. However, what he didn’t know was that George had picked the 8-picture package, which gave them two strips of photos.
When Punz decided to stop tickling and messing with him, George just stared at him longingly. He didn’t even bother to speak, he just pulled Punz in from the back of their head and the two’s lips sealed as another photo clicked. Cliche, isn’t it? Very much George’s intention. Another photo snapped before they pulled apart, and then their final photo was just them staring at each other for a moment.
“That’s adorable,” Dream’s voice made them both jump, and quickly they got out to see the two. Dream holding up both of the strips of photos. “And really fucking rom-com of you two,” they tacked on, showing them the photos.
“Exactly,” George said, snagging the strip away from Dream. Punz’s face flushed, glancing over at Sapnap, who was leaned against the booth with a sly smile, before he thought about it.
“Dream, you kissed me with a lake view; you really wanna talk about rom-com?” Sapnap asked, and Dream rolled his eyes.
“Shut up, they didn’t know that,” Dream said, before they all broke out into giggles.
“We’re literally at Disney, it’s all magical here,” Punz reminded.
“Even with the borderline homophobia,” Dream mumbled, and George snorted.
“Which is why four dudes kissing is really important,” Sapnap said, and Punz kicked his foot gently. “What? We’re spreading love.”
“You’re an idiot,” George scoffed, looking up as the voice called a five minute warning. “C’mon, we gotta go.”
As they left the arcade, the air felt lighter than before. They made it all the way back to their car, which was already packed from the morning as they’d already checked out. But, Sapnap turned to the group before they all got in to go home.
“So… we’re really gonna do this? All four?” Sapnap asked, always needing clarification.
“I think,” Punz said, stepping behind him and placing their chin on his shoulder. “We’re all in agreement.”
George leaned against the car, in between Sapnap and the vehicle, and grabbed Sapnap’s arm to rest his own chin on the other shoulder. “And, you’re having a ‘Dream moment’ where you’re thinking too hard,” George whispered, ignoring Dream’s glare.
Dream attacked him from the front, leaning down and kissing him in front of the other two. “We’re doing this, Nick. All of us. You’re stuck now,” Dream whispered, and Sapnap smiled. “Now c’mon, I wanna sleep. I’m still having heart palpitations from the ride.”
“Then you shouldn’t be driving,” Punz said, and Dream shrugged as George chuckled and gently kissed Sapnap as well, just to solidify what Dream’d said, and then kissing away Punz’s fake worry.
“Just wait till I start driving,” George said, opening the door.
“Oh hell no,” Sapnap called playfully, and Dream laughed as they all got in.
The ride home seemed shorter than the ride there. Probably because they didn’t stop for McDonalds. But, the sunset was pretty to watch as Sapnap leaned against Punz in the backseat, an arm thrown over him, watching the sky change colors before finally reaching the night. That’s when they pulled into their driveway.
“I say we leave the bags in the car until the morning,” George said, already yawning.
“I second that!” Punz agreed, and Dream chuckled.
“You guys go in, I’ve got the bags,” Dream mumbled.
“No,” Sapnap whined, “I want cuddles, Dreamie! No bags. Just get them in the morning. You wake up at like, 6 A.M anyway.”
“Yeah, Dreamie,” George whispered, and Dream sighed.
“Fine, fine,” Dream conceded, not really wanting to get the bags anyway. “How could I say no to cuddles?”
The answer? You can never say no to cuddles.
And our boy’s figured that out as they curled up in Dream’s room, already knowing they could all be comfortably tangled in there since Dream’s bed was huge. George and Sapnap were out first, leaving Punz and Dream awake and watching the TV.
“You know that bodysuit you have? That Karl got you?” Punz whispered, and Dream hummed in acknowledgement. “Can you help me find something like that?”
“Of course,” Dream whispered, finding a way to pull Punz in closer. “You want to experiment more?”
“Yeah, I do… but sometimes Karl’s energy can be too overwhelming,” Punz said, running a hand through Sapnap’s hair.
“Yeah, he’s definitely energetic,” Dream agreed, “We can definitely find you something like that. You wanna go online with me and look for some new clothes and stuff?”
“Sure,” Punz agreed, smiling over at Dream. “If you think about it. Nick’s the token cis of this relationship.”
Dream snorted, rolling his eyes and shaking his head. “Well, let’s see how long that lasts,” Dream mumbled, and Punz chuckled again. “If it’s anything we have, it’s influence.”
“Might as well claim another one,” Punz agreed, and Dream stifled a laugh with their hand, shaking their head and pulling Punz in to kiss him gently. Punz smiled, holding their head gently. “Thank you,” They whispered.
“Don’t thank me for wanting you to be comfortable in your own skin. Like my Ma always told me. You look your best when you feel your best,” Dream whispered.
Punz leaned against Dream as best they could with their entanglement, and it wasn’t long before they fell asleep as well. Dream was the final one to slip away and fall into their exhaustion; but, it'd been a good week, and Dream couldn’t wait for what else was in store for them.
