-the group chat is called 'Deku's Drey'. Izuku's screen name is 'king of the squirrels'. God, these guys really wished he'd let them forget that he is a literal infant.
-They don't know each other's identities in the chat; only that they're all UA students, which doesn't narrow down. Anything. Deku gives them complete nonsense names too, which doesn't help. It's lowkey hilarious because they're all in the same class and none of them really know it lmao.
-There's a theory that Shoto is a third year because he knows so much about hero statistics/culture/law, so he's kinda the 'unelected dad' of the group and he literally has no idea how.
-Toga is also in the group chat, because she likes being included, Deku is an agent of chaos, and also she probably has blackmail.
-Izuku doesn't tell anyone who Toga is, either, just that she's in the chat. He's gotta keep them on their toes and also he's kind of evil but we know this.
-It's even funnier because Toga and Toru know who each other are, and Toru keeps acting like Toga whenever the others get too close to guessing who in the chat is Toga. Like they'll get so close and then Toru will just be like 'hey out of curiosity are squirrels edible? Because I just killed one and don't know how to dispose of it lol' and the others will loose their shit. It's very funny.
-Izuku keeps dropping super obscure hints about peoples identities whenever he's bored and/or mad at them.
-tldr one of Izuku's favorite hobbies is reveling in dramatic irony. because, to the surprise of no one, I am back on my bullshit and projecting onto Midoriya Izuku once again.
-There's a separate group chat with pretty much everyone- hero, villain, civilian, vigilante, etc- that Izuku knows and trusts, but it's much more serious there. It's like an emergancy/information/professional chat, and everyone's nicknames are literally randomly assigned numbers. Except Uraraka she gets to be 13 for clout. They each have a channel that only they can talk in where they give Izuku updates/information/offers, a channel where Izuku does the same for the rest of them, and exactly 1 channel where they can actually talk to each other that's only to be used in emergancies. Helping someone who sounds the alarm in the group chat gets you between 1 and 3 favours from Deku if they turn out to not be on your side, and hurting someone that sounds an alarm because they aren't on your side and you see it as an opportunity is one of the quickest ways to get yourself on Deku's Shitlist- though only people in the Deku's Dray get to see said shitlist.

-Izuku texts Deku's Drey one day, @ing everybody and being like 'listen. No pressure but I need to hear good things about Bakugo Katsuki right now or I might be rash and do something about him. u can DM me' after Izuku runs into Kacchan at, like, the market and has to stop himself from imploding on the spot. Queue panic.
-Izuku ghosts the group chat for like a week leading up to the Chisaki incident, pops in to say 'fyi if anything bad happens to Eri I'll kill the fucking rat principle, also here's two new people I picked up while I was out (adds Tsuyu and Kirishima)', and then ghosts for another week.
-Toru and/or Denki and/or Todoroki are up in the middle of the night clowning around in the group chat and Izuku gets so annoyed that he pops in and goes 'I understand that as youngest children y'all need attention like air but if this continues I'll ensure you have neither'
