Dryad and Bumblebee walked over to meet their new clawmate.
"What's your name?" Dryad asked Dawnfrost.
"My name's Dawnfrost." She said, for some reason she felt flustered when Dryad talked.
"Well welcome to your new winglet, Dawnfrost." Dryad said, if she had wings she would have opened them as wide as she could.
"You should probably put your stuff somewhere because class starts in 10 minutes." Auklet said, grabbing some scrolls and walking out the cave.
Dawnfrost put her stuff down and followed her clawmates to her first class; biology.
Once they got to class the other member of Dawnfrost's winglet came to greet her. They were told to sit down at the tables. Dawnfrost sat next to Dryad.
"Hello my name is Peril I'm your biology teacher. And for the returning students I expect that report on the different types of venoms on my desk before next week." Peril said her body seemed to be burning.
"Today we are going to be seeing what different abilities you all have such as; firebreath, frostbreath, and venom." Peril continued, "so please make a line."
The dragonets lined up. Dawnfrost thought for a moment she didn't know if she had frostbreath or firebreath but she did know she had a barbed tail. Peacemaker was first with firebreath and rainwing venom, then it was Auklet's turn she didn't have any non seawing abilities, after her turn it was Bumblebee's turn she shot a stinger from her wrist, Cliff had firebreath, Dryad didn't have anything because she didn't go though metamorphosis yet, and Swamp had firebreath.
Finally it was Dawnfrost's turn she walked forward towards the target. She took a deep breath and let out a concentrated breath. Dawnfrost look and saw it was icebreath. For some reason Dawnfrost thought she should do it again. So she did. She took another deep breath in. But this time what came out was firebreath not icebreath.
Everyone was speachless even Dawnfrost.
"In all my life I've never seen a dragon have both firebreath and frostbreath." Peril said, she was very shocked, "Unless maybe you were enchanted by an Animus."
Suddenly a loud noise echoed though the halls. All the dragons look up. Peril ran out of the cave yelling at her students to follow her.
