Chapter Text
"So, uh, nice weather we're having?" Hashirama grins nervously, hoping to break the awkward silence that's fallen over all of them as they stare at the remains of the plane which Max shredded.
He gets twin disbelieving stares for his trouble, and Madara pinching the bridge of his nose into the bargain.
"Or not." Hashirama bites his lip, hesitantly. He shouldn't need to be the grownup here, he's certainly not the oldest person on the island at present, but he'll point out the truth if no one else is going to.
"This plane isn't going to fly again," with one wing missing, it's inarguable and everyone nods. "But there is another plane on the island, a bigger one that can seat everyone."
Madara's father looks like he just ate an entire bowl of lemons, peel and all, at that news, and Hashirama's own father doesn't look much better.
"So perhaps the two of you can work something out?" He looks at them hopefully, willing them to be polite to each other, even if they can't be agreeable. "Maybe?"
The stares become glares at the suggestion, both fathers clearly appalled at the idea of having to spend several hours in each other's company, and Hashirama silently wishes for a distraction.
Where's a dinosaur when he needs one?!
