"I-" Wilhelm swallows his words nervously. His eyes flickering from Simon's eyes to his lips to his curls then back again. Simon can't help but feel his lips pull up into an endearing smile. His stomach filling with butterflies knowing he has such an affect on this attractive guy. The dickhead prince as people like to say he is. But maybe, Simon starts to think, isn't actually true.
"I liked your singing." He compliments him with heat on his cheeks and Simon tilts his head with a playful challenge. His body automatically being drawn closer into his space. "Yeah, what you like about it?"
He wanted to see if Wilhelm was giving hollow compliments or actually had some more to say.
"You sang with your heart. Others just follow the lyrics like reading a book in monotone. Your singing... was very personal, passionate, you moved me and I'm sure others as well."
Simon scoffs, "I sang the national anthem and other traditional songs, not very emtional songs."
"Maybe, but you still managed to make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Made the whole thing a whole less boring. I got excited just knowing you were going to sing again." He confesses and Simon shakes his head cutely, his eye catching a blonde woman stand off to the side behind Wille, probably security.
"So.... you didn't just like it because of my pretty face?" Simon teases and Wilhelm's eyes widen in panic, "No-" then he stops to track back, "yes! Well- uh-" he struggles to find the right words to say without embarrassing himself more and Simon chuckles.
"Oooooh I see!"
"No! I-"
"So I am just another pretty face." Simon knows that isn't the case after hearing Wilhelm's genuine explanation but still... he's so easy to mess with. The way he stumbles around his words and is animated towards him in his reactions. It's refreshing and a bit fun but overall flattering to him.
"You-"
"Wilhelm." Simon stops him with a smile and the prince halts to correct him, "Wille."
"Huh?"
"Call me Wille, please."
"W-Wille?" He tests the nickname out on his tongue and watches from his eyelashes Wille's blush heighten even more.
