The night was silent after that explosion. Not a sound anywhere just nothing. Linke someone had pressed mute on a TV remote on the sewers.
The only sound after, were a few knocks on the door.
"Mikey, it's time to wake up!" Leo explains through the door. He knocks louder to wake up the sleepy box turtle "Mikey? Are you in there??" only thing going through his mind was that, maybe Micheal got up already and was eating breakfast with everyone could hear conversations happening though the hall, so he walked down the hall to greet his family.
"That smells awesome. " as he slides into the kitchen, he is greeted with groans, he peels his eyes open to see no Mikey just Raph and Donnie enjoying some pancakes , "that's strange" Leo wondered. "has anyone see
Miguel?" he asked his brothers. "Isn't he still in his room? I didn't see him come out." Donnie stated, Leo hums at that and replies with "I knocked on his door and tried to talk to him, but I was left with nothing." Leo explained, Leo sighs and starts walking off explaining "I'm gonna walk into his room to get his ass to breakfast" Raph sighed because of the swearing.
He stares at the wooden door, raising his hand to knock onto the door to see if he has permission to enter. Knock knock. When he knocked the door creaked open like the door was inviting him in. The room was dark so he calls once again, "Mikey? Are you awake?" Leo nervously called out. He switched the light on to see the explosion mess. And a jigsaw pieces of an orange mask.
Leo looked scared. His baby brother? Gone? What happened the next he saw was everything was blurry as his eyes escaped with tears, kneeling down, as he picks up the many bandanas pieces and holds them to his face as he sobs into them.
It could have been seconds, minutes or hours in that room, he felt a hand touch his shoulder, which he lifted his head to see raph, he looked confused as Leo's crying didn't stop till Raph saw the mask in Leo's hands and the explosion marks across the room. He stared into the room from shock and disbelief. His eyes shined as the tears forced to escape his eyes. Raph picked up Leo and carried him to donnie to tell him of the horrible news about thier baby brother.
They see Donnie about to walk into his lab but Raph grabs his shoulder gently, "Don, we have some important to tell you." Raph telling him holding back the tears. Donnie replied without looking back "Raph, I'm a bit busy." then he turned around and saw his face. The shiny eyes of Raph's eyes. "Raph? What's wrong?" he asked almost dropping all his tech in his arms.
