Chapter Text
Scott woke up in a world like no other.
He took a breath of the fresh hermitcraft air.
After they killed Xornoth, Grian had decided to reward all of them by pestering Xisuma to let him, Skizz, and everyone else that wasn’t in Hermitcraft into Hermitcraft.
Besides, they were going to reset the world for a tenth time very soon and now, he was in Hermitcraft as a new member.
They had decided to do the reset a bit early to prepare for everyone joining.
Scott was excited to be on Hermitcraft, he had heard tales of the strange and mystical happenings on Hermitcraft from Scar.
Then, he felt the same pain on his back that he did like a week ago now.
He decided that now would probably be a good time to check it out.
He quickly pulled off his shirt and looked in the mirror.
He saw that he had small light blue wings.
He sighed. Of course he had wings!
He assumed he got them from being soulbound to Martyn.
He tried stretching them out and to his surprise, it worked.
He felt the soreness fade away.
He wasn't sure how big his wings would get or if they’d even grow anymore.
He folded his wings back and put his shirt back on.

Martyn smiled.
He was about to kill the ender dragon with Jimmy.
Martyn was in this world called chunklock that he and Jimmy decided to make before they got onto Hermitcraft.
Then, he thought of something. “What if the watchers visit us after we defeat the enderdragon like they did in Evo.”
Jimmy laughed. “Stop it.”
Martyn ignored him. “Everyone would lose their minds.”
“I’m losing my mind!” Jimmy cried.
“Wait, Jimmy look,” Martyn noticed. “The dragon’s low. Next time it swoops down, I bet we could kill it.”
Jimmy nodded, going to the bedrock structure at the centre of all the end crystals.
Martyn followed, fighting off all the endermen along the way.
When Jimmy got there, he tried to shoot an arrow but it went weird. “What’s going on with my arrows?”
Martyn shrugged. “I don’t know. Just use your sword, it’ll do more damage anyway.”
Jimmy obeyed, unsheathing his sword and slashing the dragon's underbelly.
After a few hits, it exploded, dead.
“And that is how it’s done,” Martyn said, rubbing his hands together.
“But wait, why did my arrows do that earlier?” Jimmy asked, confused.
“It’s the watchers' interference,” Martyn jokes.
Jimmy laughed.
Unlock the world, Martyn said eerily, imitating a watcher. But don’t get yourself murdered. Open the rifts. But don’t fall off cliffs. Slay those beasts. But don’t declare defeat. Until next time, measly mortal.
“Oh my gosh,” Jimmy said, feigning surprise. “It’s a message from the watchers!”

They’re just laughing…
Laughing?
They clearly have no idea what’s to come.
They can insult us all they want…
Insult?
But they’ll regret it.
Nowhere’s safe…
Safety?
Not even their own server.
