Chapter Text

Raphael Red Hamato felt stuck. This world’s Donatello stuck in his lab at nearly all times, reaching out to various allies and testing whatever solutions they came up with for a large power source cable of ripping a hole in reality. Leonardo had a very strict training regimen he stuck to at all times. And while he enjoyed hanging out with this worlds Mikey, the energetic turtle had other friends he was constantly visiting outside of the sewers.

Raph had asked to join but Leonardo had shut that down very quickly. Leonardo had claimed that he and Splinter had come to the agreement that Raph’s sheer size would terrify friends and enemies alike, and as they had managers to live without conflict for nearly a year, they were desperate to keep the peace.

Rapheal could empathize, after the invasion, he didn’t even want to think about having another battle ever, let alone so soon afterwards. But he still had his gripes. Why had he yet to actually meet this world’s Splinter? Why couldn’t the friends Mikey visited come down to the lair? They could be warned about his size and he was an expert at appearing non threatening when need be.

He didn’t want to butt in on a completely different families dynamic and he understood wanting to play it safe, but boy was he bored whenever Mikey left. As he bemoaned his boredom face down on ground in the middle of the lair pit, as one does when extremely bored, he heard an unfamiliar voice echo through the tunnels.

“Yo Donnie! My T-Phone broke! Get your nerd ass out of your lab and help a guy out!”

Raph pushed himself up and looked towards the turnstiles just in time to see a human vault over them, and begin stomping towards Donetello’s lab. His tail started wagging at the idea of talking to someone, and it’s pace only picked up at the sight of his black hair, general lankiness, and hockey stick strapped to his back.

As he moved to stand, Alternate Casey finally noticed the large spikey ball that had plopped itself in his friends living room. Raph was abruptly reminded of when he arrived in this dimension three days ago as he found a hokey stick at his throat and Casey staring up at him with a glare and only vaguely shaking knees.

He opened him mouth when Raph covered it was a large clawed hand. “Okay Raph is not going to do this all again,” he sighed, pushing the hockey stick away with his other hand. “Let’s get straight to it! I’m Rapheal from an alternate dimension. Your Mikey shot your Raph with a portal gun your Donnie was working on and it apparently swapped your Raph and I. Donnie is already working on making a portal so your Raph and I can each go home, but in the meantime let’s hang!” Raph finished, beaming at the smaller human.

Casey blinked before shaking away his slaked jaw and raised eyebrow and grinning, “Dude you are huge!” he exclaimed, strapping away his hockey stick and beaming up at Rapheal. “I’m just gonna drop my T-Phone off with Donnie and then we gotta do something together!” A smirk graced Casey’s face as he waved what looked like a phone with a cracked screen and a mini turtle shell for a case and began walking backwards in the general direction of Donnie’s lab.

As the teen smacked his head into a low hanging pipe, Raph wondered if maybe he shouldn’t have been so desperate for someone to talk to.
