Chapter Text
first of all i'd like to apologize for the lack of updates since last year. I've had MAJOR writers block over the past couple months and the actual chapter 8 is kicking my ass. there's a 50/50 chance that i will actually finish this next chapter and actually enjoy it- i've really not been liking how it's playing out. most likely i will be rewriting this fic and making this one anonymous.
this fic wasn't outlined at first and i think it really affected the pacing and overall quality of the plot. when i do rewrite it (if i ever get over this art block, lol) it will have TONS of preparation it will be outlined and i'll hopefully get a friend to beta read it. my writing style has changed a ton since i began this fic and i honestly just dont have the motivation to keep writing this version because of how much i honestly dont like this fic (or at least how i executed the idea). again im so sorry!! i promised i'd finish this fic and i havent yet and i dont think i'll completely finish it, or at least i wont finish this version of it.
some of my current plans for the 2nd version of this fic will probably include a plot that's less romance based- or at least the main plot won't be about casey and raph falling in love, but that'll be kind of like a subplot. i plan on making it A LOT more like a slow-burn than how fast paced this one turned out. i also think it'll be casey to be the one working at the movie theater (or wherever workplace im going to change it too, because the more i think about the more i dont really like the movie theater idea) first instead of raph.
I'm trying to outline the 2nd version right now but with the next and last term of my school year coming up i'm really trying to lock in and actually focus on school more than my interests because this whole year i've been slacking off. i'm trying to make it more of a 50/50 balance of school work to interests than an 80/20 haha
all that being said i'd like to apologize again for not following through with this fic like i planned. i might finish the actual chapter 8 and post it, but after i post the first chapter of the rewrite i will make an update about it here and make this fic anonymous.
hope you've all been doing well and im glad you've all enjoyed this fic up to chapter 7!! if any of you might have any suggestions on how i can make the rewrite better when i eventually start actually writing it let me know <3
