Hey y'all! As you could probably guess from the lack of updates in the last three years, I am not continuing this story. HOWEVER, I was re-reading through the outline for the rest of the fic and it's way too cool to sit in my Google Docs forever, so I wanted to share it with you. Samhain Seal

- They hunt down the witch, epic fight, and they kill the witch, stopping the seal from breaking
- Deantriel tells Cas that his orders were to follow whatever Cas said to test his leadership under battlefield conditions but he doesn’t know if he passed
- Cas says that everything will work out because they stopped the seal and Lucifer can’t rise and Deantriel is like “uhh nah my guy there’s like 600 seals and they are breaking other seals”
Huntin’ ‘n’ Stuff

- Cas: Where did you take her?
- Deantriel: We took her back to her rightful place in Heaven.
- Cas: You killed her?
- Deantriel: We returned her home. Anna Milton was not Anna Milton at all.
- Cas: What the hell are you talking about?
- Deantriel: (Hestitanty) There is not much I may tell you. But, all you must know is that she is a traitor of heaven who we had believed had fallen. Our suspicions were confirmed, and we collected her before she could wreak any more havoc than she already had.
- Cas: She was locked up in a mental hospital!
- Deantriel: Because she was regaining her powers. She was unstable and she must relearn how to control herself. She is rehabilitating in Heaven where she is safe in the presence of her kind.
- Cas: So she is. Safe.
- Deantriel: I can assure you she’s being taken care of.
- Cas: Taken care of?
- Deantriel: I assure you that Heaven will handle this. You needn’t worry. (Disappears)
- Cas: Awesome. Great talk.
- Cas and Deantriel follow the Anna Milton lead but when they arrive, they find out that she had been transferred to a more qualified hospital. They look into it and there is no evidence of a transfer.
- Cas sees that it was Uriel that took Anna, he starts to get suspicious and starts to look into it but Deantriel shows up and interrupts him
- Cas questions Deantriel about what they did to her
- Spirit is haunting Cas and Jimmy’s old high school
- Flashbacks to their childhood
Alastair

- Cas: “If I walk in there, you may not like what walks out”
- Deantriel: “We need his information…” you know that weird staring thing that people do where you’re trying to figure out the right words. “I am sorry for this.”
- Reuniting, fighting, relief, reconciling
- Cas asks Deantriel if he actually started the Apocalypse, he confirms, and Cas is like “I have to stop what I started but fuck all what the angels want, ‘cause I’m doing it my way with or without them.”
- Deantriel: “Perhaps that is your true purpose.”
- Cas calls Deantriel “Dean” for the first time
- Sam and Cas happen to be in New York and find the 66 teenagers that are going to be killed by the teacher and successfully save them but Deantriel comes and says that a seal has been broken and they’re like “no, we stopped it” and he tells them that Alastair killed two repears under the Solstice Moon
- Cas has to torture Alastair to get information on who is killing angels
- Alastair tells Cas that he broke the first seal when he tortured in Hell
- When Sam asks Deantriel about the morality of making Cas torture and if God is even the one giving the orders, Deantriel does listen to her and starts to question the authority of the other angels
- Alastair tells Cas that there aren’t demons behind the angel deaths
- Alastair is freed and tries to kill Cas
- Jimmy comes in and kills Alastair
- Deantriel figures out that Uriel is the one killing the other angels
- Cas wakes up and Jimmy is by his bedside
- Cas & Deantriel
Jimmy
- Gets a cut on his hand and runs it under water and it’s already healed
- Assumes it’s a being resurrected thing
- Ruby: She’s never going to stop. One of these days, she’s going to get to Claire, and you have to be strong enough to kill her.
- Jimmy realizes that he has to kill Lilith so she can never kill anyone else he cares about
- Opens with the end of Jimmy and Cas’s fight from the prologue
- Follows Jimmy taking the role of Castiel and applying to college, using their parent’s inheritance money to keep himself afloat
- Jimmy & Amelia meet cute

- Meets Ruby who gains his trust by spinning a tale of lost family (NO ROMANCE)

- Jimmy is mortified and she says that he can’t get rid of his powers but he can control them and promises him that she can help him hone his powers
- Jimmy sends Claire to stay with Amelia’s parents so he doesn’t hurt her with his powers
- Ruby trains him and takes him to different supernatural things to build his powers
- Jimmy reveals that he is Jimmy to Ruby and she acts surprised
- Lilith tries to kill Ruby and Jimmy goes super saiyan and is terrified
- Ruby starts Jimmy on demon blood to strengthen his powers
- Jimmy and Ruby have a brief romance initiated by Jimmy and he feels very guilty and needs to create distance but then his withdrawals become too much and he goes back to Ruby
Jimmy & Cas

- Chuck: Oh, that? Yeah, I’m not much of an artist, but sometimes it helps to get the details right when I can see it. There’s more about it in my next manuscript—”
- Cas: What is it?
- Chuck: It’s called The Azarole. Back in Ancient Roman times, there was an enchanted azarole tree and the farmer would cut the fruit with his sword. Slowly, over the years, the juices of the enchanted azarole seeped into the metal and turned it indestructible. He even cleaned the hilt with its juices.
- Jimmy: So this sword, it’s indestructible. That means it could kill anything?
- Chuck: In theory, yes.
- Cas: Where can we find it?
- Chuck: (Sheepishly) Well, I haven’t really gotten to that part yet...
- Jimmy is sticking around because especially after Amelia’s death, he realizes that he has lost Cas without ever giving him a chance and he gave him life and he wants him in his life etc. etc. and he wants to reconcile so he doesn’t lose Cas again
- They go to Cas’s safehouse
- Cas finds the books written about his life (named the same as the fan fic) and goes to meet Chuck Shurley
- They find out that he’s a prophet
- There’s a picture of The Azarole
The Rapture
- Sam reunites with Henry
- Henry is dying of CAM again
- Have to stop a hybrid supernatural child be born
- Cas feeling conflicted because it’s a baby but Jimmy thinking it doesn’t matter because it’s a monster
- The father comes to protect the mother and nearly kills Cas
- Jimmy reveals his powers but the seal still breaks
- Henry comes back and Cas
- Cas misses Deantriel
- Cas and Jimmy go on a hunt

- Jimmy: I was nineteen!
- Cas: So was I! Except, I was a nineteen year old who just spent a year alone after his entire family died, worked through shitty days of endless physical therapy and then his soul — my fucking soul, Jimmy — to bring his dead brother back to life. How do you think I felt when you came back and you left me? You died, Jimmy. I condemned myself to hell for you and the second I got you back, you left me.
- Cas: Well I guess that’s my mistake. Thinking you could actually change. Thinking that you actually gave a shit about me. But you don’t. You never did. It has always been about you.
- Deantriel comes to tell Cas that there is only the last seal that needs to be broken before the apocalypse
- Deantriel: You are distressed. What is wrong?
- Cas: (Chuckles bitterly) You wouldn’t get it.
- Deantriel: I am very astute.
- Cas: No. You really aren’t. (Scrubs face with hand) Just… family drama. You get it, right?
- Deantriel: I do not have a family.
- Cas: Well, sure you do. You’ve got all the angels. You lot are the epitome of family drama.
- Deantriel: I have never considered my brethren to be my… family. That is a very human concept.
- Cas: What? Do you guys not talk?
- Deantriel: Over the millenia, there have been a countless amount of angels that have come and gone. If we were not part of the same garrison then we would never have crossed paths.
- Cas: Sounds lonely.
- Deantriel: Not at all. When you are so preoccupied with your duties, there is never a dull moment.
- Cas: So. What kept you busy?
- Deantriel: Well, as commander of my garrison, I am tasked with providing and leadership to my subordinates.
- Cas: (Dryly) Fun.
- Deantriel: It was not fun. It requires great tenacity and is a responsibility I shoulder with great pride.
- Cas: So you’re in charge?
- Deantriel: I have a position of leadership.
- Cas: So you’re kinda in charge?
- Deantriel: I… suppose you could say that.
- Cas: So who’s in charge in charge?
- Deantriel: I do not understand the question.
- Cas: You know. Who’s your boss? Who’s your boss’s boss?
- Jimmy tells Cas what happened and how he got his powers and how he’s going to kill Lilith thinking Cas will relate
- Cas gets extremely mad for Jimmy being a hypocrite and for leaving him when he did the exact same thing
- Other fighting

Lucifer Rising
- Cas is trapped by Zachariah where he explains that the angels want the Apocalypse to happen and that God has abandoned them and there isn’t actually someone in charge
- Cas is angry at Deantriel for deceiving him (cue past abandonment issues)
- Deantriel helps Cas escape
- Jimmy kills Lilith
- Cas finally gets there and reveals that that was the last seal for the Apocalypse and Ruby has deceiving him
- Ruby monologue
- Jimmy kills Ruby
- Cas has to calm Jimmy down so he doesn’t release an explosion of power. Soft moment opportunity.
- Cas: We have to get off the grid.

- Jimmy starts it
- Cas starts it
- Cas: ~I don’t know where all that anger came from.
- Sam: Something’s going on here and I don’t think it’s good.
- Jimmy starts it
- Cas pulls the “you started the apocalypse” card
- Cas: You didn’t start the Apocalypse.
- Jimmy: (Looks up) What?
- Cas: You didn’t start the Apocalypse.
- Jimmy: (Chuckles bitterly) Uh, yes. I did.
- Cas: No. You didn’t. (Long shuddering pause) I did.
- Jimmy: (Stares) What are you talking about?
- Cas: I broke the first seal.
- Jimmy: (Silent) I… what was it?
- Cas: (Hesitant) The Righteous Man shed blood in Hell.
- Jimmy: That’s an intense metaphor. Very poetic. What does it mean?
- Cas: Exactly what it sounds like. I shed blood in Hell.
- Jimmy: W— what are you talking about?
- Cas: (Brows furrowing) I was in hell. You didn’t know that?
- Jimmy: Of course I didn’t know that! Why would I have known that?!
- Cas: (Shrugs) I just figured you would. Everyone does.
- Jimmy: How did you…
- Cas: Get sent to hell and not the pearly gates? Don’t worry, I didn’t spend our years apart becoming some serial puppy killer.
- Jimmy: Then how did you—
- Cas: Remember when I resurrected you?
- Jimmy: Kinda hard to forget.
- Cas: I didn’t.
- Jimmy: What do you mean?
- Cas: I didn’t. A… demon did.
- Jimmy: (Stills) A demon?
- Cas: Yeah. I made what’s called a crossroads deal. Maybe you’ve heard of them.
- Jimmy: But crossroads deals…
- Cas: Yup. (Pops P) You kinda didn’t give me the chance to tell you that in exchange for your life, I sold my soul, damned myself to hell, and slapped a ten year expiration date on my life.
- Jimmy: (Winces) I didn’t know.
- Cas: Yeah, well you left.
- Jimmy: (Pause of silence) I wouldn’t have left if I had known.
- Cas: Wouldn’t you have? Jimmy, the way you were back then, (Huffs harshly) I mean, you were having a fucking identity, reality, and religious crisis all wrapped up in one. You thought you were an abomination against God and I was the one who turned you into it. Telling you that I turned you into an abomination by selling my soul to a demon that was gonna send me to Hell? How do you think you would’ve taken it?
- Jimmy: ...Not good.
- Cas: Ha. Yeah. Not fucking good.
- Jimmy: So if… if there wasn’t an Apocalypse, you would just be in hell and I wouldn’t have known?
- Cas: Yup.
- Jimmy: (Fidgeting) God, Cas. I… I’m so sorry. I can’t believe you did that. For me.
- Cas: Yeah. Well, I loved you.
- Jimmy: And now?
- Cas: (Pause) I don’t know.
- Jimmy: (Pang of hurt blooms in his chest) I regretted it, you know. Leaving. I… I tried to find you. So many times, I tried to find you. But it was like you didn’t even exist. I just wanted to see you. Talk to you. Show you the life that I had built with the life that you gave me.
- Cas: Was it a good one?
- Jimmy: (Nods tearily) It was amazing.
- Cas: Sorry that all of this fucked it up.
- Jimmy: Yeah. Me too.
- Deantriel gives them the carvings
- Jimmy tells them about anti-angel hex bags that Ruby taught him
- Deantriel is staying with the Main Three to keep an eye on the L & M vessels and so they don’t mess with the apocalypse (but really Deantriel is gonna follow Cas)
- Sudden spurts of bloodthirsty, blind rage in a country club town
- Isn’t a widespread anger, only triggered by normal anger
- People notice War
- Jimmy is going through withdrawals and is irritable
- First Fight: Cas and Jimmy fight, Sam in the corner awkwardly (uh- guys- Guys- we gotta calm down-)
- Second Fight: More mad, escalating, they say things that really cross a line (Sam cuts it off again)
- Third Fight: Worst fight, getting physical, Jimmy uses his powers, Deantriel has to step in

- Zachariah visits them because they’re messing with the horseman
Ceaquede Virus
- Claims him as his vessel
- Tells him to think about it and in the meantimes he’ll give him an incentive
- He gives him a flask of demon blood
- Suggests that he ration that unless he wants to go find the fresh stuff
- Future!Cas calls Past!Cas Lucifer and Past!Cas is like ??? “i’m not lucifer” and Future!Cas hopefully asks “Jimmy?” and Past!Cas is like “you’re not Jimmy? oh shit you’re me”
- Future!Cas and Deantriel were romantically involved
- Past!Cas: This is a suicide mission.
- Future!Cas: That’s the point!
- Future!Cas: This is my last chance to change things (dialogue break) because everything now? It’s shit. And if I die trying, so be it. At least I die doing something.
- Future!Cas tells Cas that he has tried everything to stop Lucifer (and tells him everything he’s done)
- Past!Cas says he can’t do this alone and helps him make a plan
- Future!Cas uses The Azarole
- Future!Cas purposefully doesn’t follow the plan just to get killed
- Cas: *tries to talk to Jimmy*
- Lucifer: Oopsie, Jimmy is busy and can’t come to the phone right now. Guess you’ll have to talk to me.
- Cas: Why did he say yes?
- Lucifer: Well, you’ll just have to find that one out for yourself. ~But let’s just say that you may think the angels aren’t on your side, but they definitely don’t give a damn about your dear ol’ Jimmy. You mattered to them. You were their last chance. But you didn’t say yes and, well (He smiles a vicious, toothy grin) I won.
- Lucifer tries to persuade Jimmy to join him in the present
- They decay and brain declines to a frantic, aggressive, flesh hungry monster until they consume more flesh
- Eat enough to quench their hunger but if they’re really hungry, they devour them entirely
- Creatures that have chunks taken out of their limbs and/or are missing limbs

- Zachariah sends Cas to the future to show him what will happen if he doesn’t say yes to Michael
- Future Jimmy is Lucifer!Jimmy because he said yes

- A month ago, Sam was bit by a zombie and Cas had to kill him

- Confront Lucifer, try to kill with The Azarole, he survives and reveals he can’t be killed by it
Time Travel P. 2
- Cas is in a wheelchair
- Cas: Oh God. It’s finally happening. I’ve finally lost it.
- Jimmy: No. You haven’t lost it.
- Cas: Clearly I have. (Chuckles humorlessly) Why am I talking to you? You’re not real.
- Jimmy: Yes, I am. I’m… from the future.
- Cas: (Narrows eyes) See, I might have believed you if you said the past. Time travel? Yeah, I can get behind that. But time travel by my currently dead brother in a future where he shouldn’t exist? Yeah, no, even I’m not that crazy. (Pauses) Well, obviously I am. Because (Gestures vaguely at Jimmy)
- Jimmy: It’s a really long story.
- Cas: Well, I’d love to hear it, which, actually, no I wouldn’t, so if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to eat three day old Lo Mein and drink a hopefully not flat ginger ale.
- Jimmy: Cas.
- Cas: Not listening! (Rummages through the fridge)
- Jimmy: Cas, c’mon, this is important.
- Cas: I’m sure you’ve got many important grief hallucination messages to lament but frankly? I don’t give a single shit about any of them. Because I’ve heard enough of it in my nightmares. I don’t need it in my waking hours too.
- Jimmy: Will you just listen? (Grabs arm)
- Cas: (Drops drink on the ground) Holy shit. I rather have a very realistic psyche or…
- Jimmy: I’m real.
- Cas: (Gapes for a moment, taking in the features that are obviously older) If I could stand, I would be hugging you right now, so this is me not so subtly telling you to hug me. Right now.
- Cas: I know you say you’re gonna be alive in the future, so I’m sure I’ve said this all to you already, but… can I? Because, even though the exercises in pseudotherapy, saying it to the real thing, the real you (dialogue break) well, I don’t know.
- Jimmy fights Anna
- Deantriel protects Cas
- Jimmy becomes indisposed and Deantriel has an epic fight with Anna
- Jimmy uses too much of his power and Anna hits him
- Cas has Upset Feelings because this is Jimmy Dying 2.0 to him
- Anna goes back to after the car crash and tries to kill Cas before he can make the deal to save Jimmy
- Around the time that Cas is just starting physical therapy
- Jimmy takes Deantriel to Cas’s apartment and they break in with Deantriel’s teleportation powers

- Jimmy has the demon blood and is the Lucifer body, Cas is the Michael sword
- Look into Cas straying away from religion but still being close to it
- At some point, Cas calls Jimmy a hypocrite
- Amelia knows Jimmy isn’t Cas, he told her that after the accident, they misidentified the bodies and he’s legally Castiel

- Cas Headcanons: Cas likes Panda Express, carbonated drinks, pork rinds, PB&J, bees, eats shitty fast food. Cas is a cellist and pianist. Cas was really good at math but he hated math. He is bad at reading comprehension but good at writing essays. He is good at researching lore because it’s more all facts. Cas loves artificial flavoring.
- Jimmy Headcanons: Loves red meat (burgers), meat and three kind of guy. Jimmy is a violinist and pianist. Jimmy is an English and science guy but can’t do math to save his life. Jimmy can’t stand artificial flavoring.
- Cas’ Injury: tibia (shin), fibula (calf), hips, and pelvis. Immobile for three months. Nine months of physical therapy.
- Jimmy was the older twin but now he’s a year younger than Cas.
- Cas and Jimmy joined soccer when they were five but Cas had to quit because he cried when Jimmy (on the other team) wouldn’t pass him the ball.
- Jimmy stepped on a beetle playing soccer and he stood over its dead body crying thinking he was a murderer.
- Jimmy was always the second to last person picked at dodgeball.
- Cas and Jimmy were the people you knew of and knew were nice but didn’t actually know
- Jimmy calls Cas “Cast Iron” because he knocked himself out with a cast iron pan
- Sam didn’t finish college. He took a gap year during his junior year and then he didn’t go back after Henry died
