Poe awoke, he was on the ground shirtless and only with his boxers on with barbecue sauce all over his chest, and cocaine under his nose, his breath reacked of alcohol and cigarette smoke.He also had a throbing head ache.
" Damn... what the fuck happened last night?"
He looked around for his friends but couldn't see much since he was still dazed from the previous night.
And that's when is hit him...
" FUCK! THEY LEFT ME! "
He them also relized that he was almost naked and hid his face in his hands and ran home as quickly as possible.
He walked into his house the best he could, hoping that his parents weren't home. He then went to the bathroom and took a shower, cleaning off any remnants from the night before.
Luckily for him all the house workers where out that day. But he was more missed than ever.
He had a boyfriend named Rodnick and he had to be the worst man you could ever date.
He would force Poe to drink and take drugs to the point where Poe got addicted himself, and even though Poe made it clear to him that he wasn't ready for intercourse, Rodnick literally raped Poe I'm his sleep, while he was drunk, and while he was sober. But Poe still couldn't leave him. And he wasn't sure why...
He knew Rodnick was only using him for money and sex, but he still could leave him...
Poe got dressed in his room and after that he walked into the living room and there his sister sat on the couch. At this point Poe was used to seeing her around the house. But it was still annoying.
" SEE EDGAR, WHAT DID I TELL YOU, IT HAPPENED AGAIN EDGAR, HE DID IT TO YOU AGAIN!"
" Rosa, will you just shut up! Let me live my own damn life!"
Poe rolled his eyes, he knew he must look stupid talking to nothing, for of course he was the only one who could see Rosa.
No she wasn't a ghost. She was a figment of Poe's imagination...
He sat down on the couch next to her.
" When are you ever going to leave me alone?"
" Poe, you know that's not up to me..."
"Yeah... I know."
Rosa had aged along side Poe, she was now a tall slim woman with long wavy raven colored hair and light skin. And she still wore that maroon dress that she died in all those years back...
Poe then walked over to his room, Rosa followed and he sat down on his desk and began to write in his book. He was already posting his stories, and his parents hated that...
But they played along with it because his followers loved Poe's storys, for they literally sucked them into the story.
Him and Rosa stayed there making small talk until Poe's parents came home.
" EDGAR WHERE ARE YOU, YOU BETTER NOT BE WRITING IN THAT DAMN BOOK AGAIN!!!"
" I'm coming father." Poe replied, holding back a sigh.
Poe left his room, gesturing for Rosa to come along. She followed. Poe was then guided to the car by one of the butlers that rode along with his parents.
Poe sat in the car quietly, and stayed quiet the whole ride, while his parents talked poorly of him as if he wasn't there. The whole way to the modeling shoot.
{ TIME SKIP}
Poe had just arrived back to school with a blank expression on his face, as always. Today he was going to breakup with Rodnick. Nothing was going to stop him.
It was now after school and Poe met up with Rodnick in their normal meeting area, in the ally behind the school.
" Hey babe! I brung you some more coke. " Rodnick shouted, as his friends snickered behind him.
" Don't call me that, I've told you before I don't want you to call me that."
" Awww come on Poe, don't be like that. " Rodnick said. Throwing his arm over Poe's shoulder, just to be pushed away.
" Look, I'm only going to say this once Rodnick, our relationship is over, your a bad influence and you've only cause me problems."
Rodnick looked a bit taken a'back by Poe's statement.
" Oh come on, you don't mean that." He said with a nervous chuckle.
" Yes, I do mean it, now I'm leaving." Poe snapped back, as he began to walk away.
That's when he felt a bunch of hands grab him and restrain him down.
" I'm only going to give you one more chance, either you stay or you die."
Rosa knew that dating Rodnick was a bad idea all along. And tried to tell Poe, but Poe didn't listen of course.
Poe squirmed trying to get away from Rodnick's friends who where holding him down, but to no avail...
That's when he began to feel those hand begin to strip him of his clothes and dignity. No matter how much he protested and fought, he couldn't get them off of him.
" LET ME GO!!! RODNICK STOP! NOW!"
" This is what you get, your worth nothing, and you know that, nobody loves you, cares about you nobody likes you Poe, and you know that. You know that I only used you for money, but still didn't leave until it's too late and now look at you!"
Eventually Poes mind went blank, so many people where violating him and he couldn't do anything about it, nothing...
And then after who knows how long, they finally let go of him. Only for Poe to be shown up with a knife to his throat. And then..
SLITTT
But it wasn't Poe's throat, instead, it was Rodnick's. Poe relized that he had taken the knife from Rodnick and killed him.
"NO WITNESSES NO WITNESSES!!!" Poe's mind screamed, as Poe without even completely knowing what he was doing quickly grabbed the book from his bag and sucked I'm every one including Radnick who actually hadn't even completely died yet.
{ TIME SKIP }
Poe stood in the shower, staring at the floor blankly. Blood dripped from his arms as the self inflicted wounds cried red tears of pain. Poe just smiled. He stayed smiling too. Why did it feel good? It felt so so good...
He continued to slash at himself crying but still smiling. Staining the shower floor red.
BUT OH THE THRILL THE THRILL OF IT ALL!
Eventually he stopped, 29 was how many cuts there where 29... all thin messy lines.
He then dried up, got out and got dressed after getting dressed, he saw his sister sitting on the bed sobbing.
"WHY WHY DID YOU DO IT!?!?!"
" YOU KNOW WHY IT HAPPENED!"
"..."
" Rosa i-"
" I know Poe, I know. Just never let it happen again okay? For me?"
" o-okay Rosa..."
One year later, Poe graduated. He was now 18 and he left his parent immediately. And never spoke to them again...
Life just progressively got worse after that... Poe started dating men and woman, just for his own pleasure. He really didn't even have feelings for them, he just wanted sex is all. And he didn't even notice it, but he, the once abused, became the abuser. Not nearly as bad as Rodnick, but he would talk harshly to them, belittle them, and on rare occasions, he would sexually assault them...
Rosa, though eventually convinced him to go to rehab to get off of the drugs and he did. So that's one good thing that happened...
At age 20, he joined the guild and left his terrible ways of toxic relationships and got his life together...
But that decision was made after the incident that happened when he was 19...
He had tried to hang himself... of course it didn't work... just his luck.
Rosa of course scolded him for it. And convinced him to get his life together. And he got back to writing. ( he quite writing after he killed Rodnick)
And finally at 22, that's when his life Really changed. For he met Ranpo, the future love of his life. It was at a investigation stand off, and Ranpo won. But that made Poe committed to beating him one day. And that day was 6 years later. But he didn't win, again.
But in some way he did. Him and Ranpo began to hang out together. Eventually falling in love with each other.
But Rosa was still there, that's the only thing. Poe had to let go... but how?
" Edgar, you have a boyfriend now, I promised you that you would be alone, now look. Life is going great for you..."
" I- I know, but what happened in the past..."
" That will never leave you, but you can learn to move on, so I can too."
"But-" tears began swelling up in Poe's eyes. " how do I let you go?"
" Tell Ranpo. It will work, just tell him."
Poe simply responded with a hum and a nod.

PRESENT DAY
* Ranpo returns from work *
" Poe I'm home!!!"
"..."
"Babe..?"
Ranpo walked in to see Poe on the bed, wiping away tears. He then hurried to comfort him.
" W- what's the matter Poe?"
"Ranpo, i- I have to tell you so.ething okay."
Poe then went ahead and told Ranpo of everything that happened in the past.
"I see.."
"And Ranpo I have to tell you something else..."
" Go ahead, I'm listening..."
" Ever since my sister died, I guess I haven't been able to accept her death and now she's just kinda always following me and she won't be able to finally rest until I let her go..."
" Okay, Poe we are going to get through this together..."
" okay..."
And after a few months, Poe could finally let go:
" Your ready now Poe. You can finally let me go."
Poe held his sister's hands a teary smile on his face.
" Yes, I am, I'm sorry it took me so long..."
" It's okay, you needed me."
" But still-"
" Ah, ah, ah, your still stubborn, as always." Rosa said with a small laugh.
Poe laughed too, " okay, but really it's time to let you go. I love you Rosa."
" I love you too Edgar..."
