man it's been so long since i used the ao3 content text box HAHAHAH
anyways hello!! im aware my account is currently thoroughly hibernating (writing wise) so i'd like to throw in a few updates about my dsmp writing and some other stuff about me
so first off about dsmp: no, i'm not totally abandoning this! there's been a LOT of shit going on about several creators, and i want to say that 1) i do not AT ALL support any of the awful behaviour i have seen from these particular creators, and have been distancing myself from their side of content and such, and 2) i have made the decision to completely separate these characters from their original creators - as in they still share a name and some traits, but these are characters, and not the actual person. i do hope they'll start doing better but well,,,, we'll see. but most importantly, i wish the victims of this entire mess all the best and hope they get to heal and live well.
honestly tho it probably will take me a while to actually resume this, for multiple reasons, so i'll give a brief recap here!
1) i fell out of this fandom
the dsmp era of my fandom existence wasn't perfect, nothing is! but i do have a lot of good memories too and being there has helped me branch out in multiple ways (art, personally, etc). however i *have* also sort of just...fallen out?? ill be so fr i do not rmb enough of the plot i need to continue this fic rn 😭 but hopefully i'll be able to someday, bc i am still lowkey attached to this fic lmao
and that brings us to 2) i'm BUSYYY :(
i finished high school and now im in college no wayyyy 😱😱 and BOY is it BUSY. i have assignments, tests and some other college events, so tbh there isn't all that much free time in my schedule ueueueue hence i don't rlly have much time to dig up old blockmen lore stuff even if im in the mood for it :(
and 3) i have other fandom brainrot at the moment
if you've been reading the comments on this, there's the answer HAHAH and if you haven't, i've fallen down a different rabbit hole - bsd (bungou stray dogs)! it hits a LOT of stuff that i like, and i find it super fun to delve into (but warning if you decide to look into it: it gets quite dark, so please check for any triggers and content warnings before you start it!!)
but anyway yeah that's the fandom i'm currently more active in, im so normal about them i promise (i have a 45k wip fic sitting in my docs (that i also havent had time to continue,,,,))
if i don't continue this fic for a while though, there are some worlds i developed as dsmp au's that i might write or even use for original works (since i develop au's based on worldbuilding) so that's also a possibility in future! oneshots maybe?? 👀
that should be about it for the updates here i think!! i hope yall nuggets are doing well, and hope to see yall again in a posted fic soon o7
