“Welcome back, this is my second entry in this journey of scientific discovery. My name is Doctor Warren and I have some updates on the current conditions of the Archosaurs.”
“A few of the Dinosaurs have been acting… a little off. The T.Rex ‘A’ pair have both been observed breathing very heavily, lying about more often, and drinking less water. I am unaware if this could be normal brooding behavior as I am the first person to breed T.Rexs. I have doubts as similar symptoms have appeared in both the female Utahraptor and the female ‘B’ T.Rex.”
“The Protoceratops has been spending most of the day in a small cave built into the enclosure; only leaving late in the afternoon or at night. This is odd as the Protoceratops does not sleep during the day; instead it watches anything that moves like the small lizards that scurry the false desert, but especially both the Pteranodons and the Quetzalcoatlus it shares an enclosure with.”
“The Styracosaurs has also been acting very agitated. Well… more than usual. But I can say for certain that the Velociraptor is not the cause. In fact, I believe the Raptor may be helping him in someway! Styracosaurs had most likely lived in herds like many other ceratopsians; unfortunately, we only have the one and the only other Archosaur in the enclosure is the Raptor and the only thing keep him from being alone. Captive born cheetahs are sometimes raised with dogs; it could be a similar situation!”
“Most of the other Archosaurs have not shown any sign of behavior change or distress as of yet, and I’m still waiting for the T.Rex ‘B’ pair to produce eggs. I do have a… hypothesis about the Allosaurus we house, but I might need some time and talk to others in my same position to confirm or deny it.”
