Behind the scenes -
Ken witnesses and/or finds Saint dying in an alleyway. Seeing that Saint was wilting in the hospital at the news of being mute as the result of the deadly injury, Ken starts pestering Saint like a parent and gets Saint moving again
Ken gives Saint the black handkerchief. In the tsundere way obviously, answering Saint's silent questioning tilt of the accessory with 'so that way I don't have to look at a damn uglier mug everyday'
The Thep Burapha Class 2, led by Ken, learn Thai Sign Language to be able to communicate with Saint. Literally the only reason they're motivated for school lmao.
Of course, Ken and the twins use the signing as a secret code, especially in front of the Udon Phithak.
By being around the silent Saint, Ken finds both intimidation and peace in the presence of silence.
Also, Ken gets really good at reading Saint's expressions, much to Ken's horror. Saint was a pouty little bitch.
Ken, his parental instincts (originating from taking care of Saint) not wanting to hurt Chingching warring with the threat of needing to work with Jeng, asks Saint for help for some bizarre reason. Saint immediately punches Ken and demands to get involved with the plan.
Saint takes off the black handkerchief when in fighting mode, due to a passing remark from Ken that the object was a liability in a fight
Saint almost wins fight against Jeng, as Saint's muteness sharpened his other senses instead.
His fear for knives (as he got the scar from one) makes Saint almost lose in the 'real' fight with Jeng, only to overcome it when motivated by the sight of badly injured Shin in the corner of his eye.
