Quietly listening to his footsteps, Lee Sanghyeok slowly getting drown on his own thought. He doesn't know why he ended up in this situation. When he saw the name of a caller who disturb his precious sleep, expression of concern flashed on his usual calm face for a second. Picking up the call and hearing the the anxious tone seeping through from the other side, he can feel his own worries arises. He knew, he noticed that kid has been distancing himself from everyone, spending more time alone. He thought that maybe he need some space, since the situation changes drastically in a short time. Even when he pretend he doesn't care, he noticed that he begin to often wandering around at night and come back at dawn. One time, he confronted him, asking what did he do at night. Lee Minhyeong only gave him a smile, while jokingly asked if that another bad joke coming from him, an attempt to diminish his concern.
Of course, he doesn't get mad at his response. He understand that everyone had their own ways to deal with their own problem. About Lee Minhyeong, sometimes he ask him for a piece of advice when he faced some difficulties, because he believe on his veteran experiences. He can feel Lee Minhyeong respect and adoration towards him by his words when he speak about him, something that he secretly appreciates him for. But that Lee Minhyeong is a reserved person too, someone who try to endure everything for the sake of himself and others. When he saw his smile and expressions, at some point he could sense the tiredness from his burden. It makes his heart aches for some reason, because he's nothing but a good younger brother for him, someone who's dependable and sturdy like a wall of steel.
So when he sense the other person moment of weakness, he would do his best to help him. He thought that the rooftop might be the best place to talk about the problem. He kind of regret his decision because the strong wind blows making his body shivering all over, even when he already armored himself with the thickest coat he owns. Observing the younger person opening up to him, he suddenly reminded by the time they had been together. It's been seven years since they meet each other. From cheeky and full of confidence kid he grows up into dependable person. Back then it seems like he doesn't have anything to be afraid for, always facing forward with all of his might. But now, hearing him confessed that he was starting to doubt himself, Lee Sanghyeok couldn’t help but recall the past. Behind Lee Minhyeong's confident exterior, Sanghyeok had often caught glimpses of his vulnerability. He’d seen the younger man, late at night, his back slightly slumped, a deep sigh escaping his lips as he stared blankly at his computer screen, endlessly watching game VODs to improve himself. Lee Minhyeong had always been his own harshest critic, pushing himself relentlessly. It was that very attitude that had made Sanghyeok believe Lee Minhyeong had the potential to become a world-class player. So, to offer some comfort, he reminded Lee Minhyeong of something he had said years ago as a way to comfort him, which resulting a small laugh coming from the other person beside him.
His laugh making him feel slightly relieved. But in the next moment, his words left him flabbergasted. What does he mean by there's can't be two suns in the same sky?. For him, Lee Minhyeong presence is like a sun, surronding him with warm of comfort. His positive attitude and encouraging words gave him strength, forming a sense of security when he saw him standing beside him. Someone that he can lean on when things get hard, which makes him easier to feel more ease if he's around. Lee Sanghyeok wasn’t sure how to express what he felt, how to put into words the depth of his gratitude, of the warmth Minhyeong brought into his life. But when he whispered his first thoughts about him, and Minhyeong gave him that genuine smile, he knew in that moment that his Minhyeong was back.
