Chapter Text
IN THE MORNING
Bakugo got up to make some breakfast. While Izuku gets out of bed. He stretches and lets out a yawn. The birds outside chirp, and the sunlight barely peeks into the room through the area where the curtain isn't covering. Izuku goes to walk but is stopped by something on the floor. It's a book- more like a journal. The journal is green and says, "For my lovely Izuku, when finished." He flips through the pages and sees many poems, but he stops at the last one, which is marked as the day before.
Sonnet 21
You're eyes shine in the sunlight every single day
You're eyes shine in the sunlight every single day
The way your curly hair flows in the wind
You're freckles that make me blush in a way
I will love you even if you're skinned
Through sickness, through health, may death do us part
My darling, I will always kill for you
I have always loved you from my thick heart
I'm hoping you will say I love you, too
We'll stay warm in winter, cuddling in bed
We'll love each other until the very end
Do I really mean this much to him? Is this what love is supposed to be about and feel like? Am I in love...? You know who I could ask, Ochako. Izuku unplugs his phone from his charger and opens it to message Uraraka.
Izuku: Hey Ochako
Ochako: Hey Izuku, whats up?
Izuku: Well...how do you know you're in love?
Ochako: Well, it's more of a feeling you get
Izuku: Continue...
Ochako: It's like the feeling you get when your favorite song comes on, the feeling when you take the first sip of your favorite drink, the feeling like you're at home, what brings you comfort, and makes your cheeks red. Do you need me to explain more?
Izuku: No, I think I get, thanks Ochako!
Ochako: Anytime!!!
Izuku thinks for a minute. Home. He's what my home is. He's my home.
"Babe, breakfast is ready!" Bakugo shouts from downstairs.
"Coming!" Izuku quickly ran down the stairs and took a seat at the dining table.
"That's what she said," Bakugo says as he places down the food, bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns.
"Oh my!" Izuku says as he starts laughing.
Whatever happens, Izuku thinks he's found his home.
