Chapter Text
With that bountiful harvest of 12.46$, Dialga was prepared. He bought 2 potions and headed back into route 204, ready to bring his Treeko to its peak.
"Okay, each Pokemon here gives a small amount of experience, so it's going to take…200 hours of training for Treekos peak. I do that, we become friends, and this nightmare finally stops." Dialga talked to himself inquisitively and like a total weirdo.
"And that's not all!" A feminine voice came from behind him, near the entrance to the Petalburg Woods.
The young woman pulled 2 full restores from her purse and seemed to flex them like money. "Always be extra prepared for incidents!"
Dialga turned around and looked at her annoyingly.
"I only have 78 cents on me, lady" he spoke bluntly.
The rich young woman held in a soft laugh as she found that reasoning to be completely and utterly preposterous.
What new trainer doesn't make their parents pay for them?
"Oh just get your mother and father to pay! Or are you one of those poor Oran farmers?"
"What?"
…
Dialga approached the tall grass area of route 204, taking in the scent of fresh greens.
"I think I get why humans chase this stuff WOW." Dialga gawked the cash in his palm, glancing at even more of it in the stolen purse.
"Hey, I demand a rematch, asshole!"
This trainer dude with the annoying ass trumpet from earlier has come back for VENGEANCE!
He immediately pocketed the money and turned around with a scoff "yeah? What pokemon of yours can possibly beat my Treeko?"
"Oh you don't want to know."
"Yes I do"
"Are you sure?"
"YES!"
"Okay then…" His head slowly tilted downward as his hair covered his expression. A hand clasped something on his waist.
As soon as it unlatched from his belt, a vicious strike of lightning hit just beside him.
He started to maniacally laugh, slapping a hand on his face as he quickly held his hand up, revealing a purple ball.
It was a Master Ball, and Dialga knew it instantly.
It was capable of catching any Pokemon without fail. How he or anybody else allowed this to be created is a huge oversight.
"The Pokemon ive captured in here… will fucking END you, do you understand me you WORTHLESS, DEMEANING, SELFISH, FUCKER!!!"
Fear struck Dialgas eyes as the wind quickly picked up, the waves nearby started to slam into the nearby cliff side.
"GOOOOO!!!"
With a flash of thunder, the ball was thrown onto the ground. Dialga covered his eyes as he felt true, GENUINE terror for the first time on this journey.
The moon covered the sun, starting the eclipse to end them all. The sea became blood red as faint screams of uselessly discarded souls gurgled beneath. The grass was dyed a deep black, practically reflecting the suddenly pitch black sky.
"….wurmple."
The moon uncovered the sun, undoing the eclipse. The sea quickly became a clear blue as the souls went back to where they belonged. The grass became green once again and the sky went back to a light color.
Looking around to see if anybody else but him just experienced that, he took out Treekos Pokeball and sent him out.
"Treeko, It's just a lil worm. 16 EXP at most."
Without needing a command, Treeko rushed forward and pounded at the Wurmple, squishing it into a bug pancake.
"NOOOOO!" The challenger fell down to his knees, lungs heavy and unfocused eyes.
"That's what you get for being so cocky." He turned away toward Petalburg forest. He was originally going to stay here to train, but of course the weirdos had to arrive.
"NO!" He fell backwards on the sand and began to flail about and cry about his loss. "NO NO NO… why…?"
"Your a fucking freak dude! Just catch another Wurmple." Dialga stated, looking a patch of grass with a purple Wurmple. "Like that cool Purple one right there! Just use that."
"NO I don't WANT that one!"
"Oh my fucking god…" he pinched the space between his eyes and cursed himself for even humoring this freak remotely.
"I-I um… I still have another one." He sat up, sniffling his boogers disgustingly, even flicking the drooping ones with the tip of his finger.
"Another Wurmple? Great, let me kill that too."
The sniffling man baby stood up and clasped at his belt a couple times pathetically before unlatching a beat up looking Pokeball.
He weakly threw it into the sand and everything instantly went white.
The sky clouded as if it itself was feeling the force of this Pokemon. Thunder and lightning struck the ground and reverberated as if it owed them rent.
And then, a deep black figure emerged.
The challenger ran in fear, leaving his Pokemon alone.
Did Dialga have to strength to deal what he shouldn't know?
Treeko immediately retreated into its Pokeball as Dialga stared at the bright red eyes, the eye of the storm that was beginning to brew.
"Mortal…" The dramatic fog lifted, revealing the Legendary Pokemon Zekrom, in all of his blackened glory.
"You will…" He took one look at the human before him before cracking a sinister smile, stopping mid sentence. "Ah, I know that aura you give out from anywhere."
He chuckled as he crushed his very own Pokeball Beneath his foot and stretched his arm out toward him.
"Yo dude, what's up man." Dialga responded with a similar grin. Legendaries just had that going for them I guess
Dialga also raised his own hand toward him as they both leaned their arms to their side and clasped each others hands, creating a boom of thunder somewhere in the distance.
"Haven't seen you in FOREVER man, how's it going?" Zekrom asked, out of his professional, regal pose (he fucking hated doing it)
"Oh man you know, my bum ass father made me learn some kind of lesson."
"That genuinely sucks, genuinely dude." Zekrom lamented "Can I like, do something for you man? We can still hang out if you want."
"Nah you don't gotta do anything. But I do gotta ask, do you got some of that shit with you right now?"
"Ooh… I dunno man, lemme see" Zekrom patted his body down inquisitively, before pulling out a tiny bag of weed.
"Shit dude, don't got anything to roll it with"
"Nah it's fine I got something like that." He pulled out some random piece of paper from his bag and crudely ripped it to size.
He handed it to Zekrom, who used static to make it stick to him and began the process
He turned around, as to not scare the viewers as he began his work.
"…Fuck."
"This shit dry as fuck dude"
"….Awright, got it"
…
"Aight dude." Zekrom pointed to the sky "I'm gonna head out of here. I don't even know how I got here to be completely honest with you"
"Good luck man"
Dialga watched Zekrom fly off, hit some sort of invisible wall, then fly the other direction. Odd.
He sighed and started to walk toward Petalburg woods. So much had happened on just this one route, he was actually feeling sort of… excited for what's to come?
