"Shane. Shane. Shaaaaa—"
"Ilya, oh my god. What?" Shane laughed.
"I have been told you are bad Canadian," Ilya announced.
"What?" Shane asked, and he sounded almost offended.
"You never, not once, made me try poutine!" Ilya exclaimed. "My teammates explained. This means we must revoke your 'good Canadian girl' status."
Shane snorted. He still looked annoyed, but it was the familiar kind.
"I think we were kinda busy most times you were up here."
"Been told this is no excuse," Ilya said solemnly. "What will people think, Shane Hollander? Canada's golden boy—"
Shane tackled him, laughing the whole time.
