Chapter Text
The morning after the party was a little chaotic, to say the least. They had finally freed everyone from the painting, and thankfully no body was hurt.
Though, Chances parents acted odd about the whole situation.
At the doors, Chance and Seven stood. C00lkidd was saying goodbye to Charlotte, who was still shaken up but feeling way better now that a few hours had passed.
“..Sorry about that.” Chance apologized.
“No need. I’m just glad everyone’s okay.” Seven said, rubbing the back of his neck. “I did.. have fun though.”
He continued, “I never really get invited to.. much of anything anymore. Tonight was fun, even if it went sour. I really enjoyed your company.”
Chance gave a genuine smile, before brightening more at gathering a sudden idea.
“Hey, would you wanna .. maybe, hang out again sometime?”
Seven seemed a little shocked, “you aren’t obligated to hang out with me-“ he was cut off.
“I think you’re nice. I don’t know why everyone else seems to hate you.”
“I’m a hacker,” Seven mumbled, “isn’t that proof enough?”
“Well, I enjoyed our time together.” Chance chuckled, “that’s plenty proof.”
Sevens face went a tiny bit red, before chuckling with them. “I guess I’ll see you around?”
“Yeah.”
Walking away from the property, c00lkidd took his chance.
“Can we get McDonalds on the way back? I’m hungry.”
“It’s 3 in the morning!” Seven explained as they both got into the car, “it’s way past your bedtime and you have school in a few hours!”
“..But I’m hungrrryy.”
…”You scared me to death today kid.”
“Please???..”
It was 4 in the morning when they got back. McDonald’s wrappers and a bag scattered at the dining room table, c00lkidd hadn’t bothered to clean up a little before heading to bed. The hacker had a feeling that c00lkidd would be tired in the morning, and maybe throw a little bit of a fit. At the end of the day though, he was glad the demon was alright.
His mind wandered again, as he cleaned up for him, to the gambler. He hadn’t given them their number, though he was sure ITrapped would set another event up so they could.
He was looking forward to seeing them again.
