Chapter Text
Andrew was confused with how he felt, to say the least. He always loved Gabriel deep down, but he never wanted to acknowledge them as real feelings.
Well, he assumed he should probably do something about his feelings now that he actually thought on them and made peace with them.
He walked back inside Gabriel’s house, unaware of what he really wanted to do when he went in and talked to Gabriel, he just knew that he wanted to at least to talk to him. Just to hear his voice and be distracted from his numb and at the same time spiraling thoughts.
He walked down the hall to Gabriel’s room rather slowly, trying to stall to get more time before he started to possibly panic and sob in front of his best friend.
He reached the room, staring at the door for a second before pushing it open slowly with one hand. He glanced at Gabriel as he laid on his unmade bed, a blanket half on the floor and the sheets bunched up slightly near the end of the bed. Gabriel smiled at him as he noticed him standing there before his expression softened at the look on Andrew’s face. He looked upset, his face covered with a frown and his eyes red from crying
“Uh… hey man? You alright…??”
Andrew paused, sitting on the bed near his feat quietly
“…yeah. Just..”
He trailed off awkwardly, realizing this is a pretty awkward conversation to just spring on him. How was he supposed to casually say “hey man, I realized I’m gay and I’m in love with you”?
“Uh… god, I don’t know man, you’re gonna think I’m weird…”
Gabriel frowned and sat up, placing a hand over Andrew’s
“C’mon dude. You know me, you can tell me anything, I won’t judge.”
Andrew sighed at Gabriel’s words. He paused, trying to ignore the feeling of Gabriel’s hand on his own before forcing himself to speak
“I think I’m gay!”
There was a pause before Gabriel muttered with a raised eyebrow
“Is… that new?”
Andrew seemed confused at Gabriel’s words
“What? I-I mean- yeah it’s new… did you think?-“
Gabriel bit his lip to hold in a snicker and raised an eyebrow
“I mean… did you think you were straight? It was pretty fuckin obvious dude. You’re obsessed with Brad Pitt, you’ve talked about having fantasies about men, and we cuddle all the time! I thought at the least that you were bisexual.”
Andrew blushed and groaned, shoving him playfully
“Shut up dude! I… ugh… whatever… so you’re like, okay with it?”
Gabriel let out a snort and leaned on him
“Of course I’m okay with it. If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t be letting ya cuddle me all the goddamn time.”
Andrew blushes and leans on him
“You always say it’s like, not in a gay way though…”
He murmurs, accidentally letting his disappointment slip into his tone. Gabriel pauses before nervously speaking
“I mean… I wouldn’t mind if it ment more than that.”
Andrew paused at the words before letting the smallest smile slip onto his face, glancing up at him nervously
“I’d like that.”
He said simply. A comforting silence filled the room before Gabriel leaned in and they both shared a kiss. It dragged on for a moment or two before Andrew pulled back to take a breath.
“Thank you.”
Gabriel snickered with a raised eyebrow
“For what?”
Andrew paused before smiling a bit softer and just hugging him
“Just for… everything.”
