Chapter Text
(Quick little note but I choose dark cacao and white lily because 1. White lily would definitely have a spell backfire on herself and 2. I wanted it to be mother-son father-daughter and golden cheese practically brings her entire army anytime she visits burning spice because it’s burning spice so she’s off the table, and who would use the spell too?) all relationships are platonic because well two characters become children but you can see this as silentflour if you want too
White lily cookie was fixing herself up in the mirror before finally getting ready to leave, when dark cacao had initially invited her to come with him while he met with mystic flour she was happy her friend had wanted her to be there with him, what she hadn’t expected was for him to extend the invitation to silent salt, or for silent salt to agree to come considering his disdain for the other beast cookies, its lessened since the beasts were trying to be redeemed but there is some clear resentment towards them. She approached silent salt who was already on his horse “You know, if you don’t want to see the other beasts you—“ he cut her off before she could continue “I may show… Dislike to my fellow beasts and it will be far before I enjoy their company again but, if they are truly becoming better I will try to endure it. Besides, I have more company than just mystic flour to distract myself with.” She smiled at his response and climbed on his horses back (she should really ask what its name is) and just like that they departed to the side ivory pagoda.
To say the journey was more interesting than the arrival was an understatement, it was so incredibly tense and awkward dark cacao wasn’t speaking, mystic flour wasn’t speaking, silent salt wasn’t speaking and white lily didn’t even know what she was supposed to be doing, there was tea set up but nobody even touched it. Finally silent salt spoke up “perhaps you and your friend could catch up? I have much to discuss with mystic flour.” Dark cacao seemed eager to just get away from the situation and white lily was just happy she could have a conversation with dark cacao, they both walked away dark cacao letting out a heavy sigh when they were out of the two beasts earshot “I do not know how you manage to even live with your beast, I can hardly stand mine.” White lily chuckled at her friend in reality she just understood her beast easier “maybe if you knew why mystic flour cookie turned to darkness you’d be able to bear her better. He let out a softer sigh and turned to her “have you been doing anything interesting besides redeeming the beast cookies? It feels like that’s all I’ve had time for lately.” She lit up at the question “I’ve actually been working on a spell that can hopefully make a flower unbloom, would you want to see it?” He took a few steps back and nodded, a small smile etched on his face at his friends joy, she turned and aimed her staff at a small pale flour, she began to say a spell and a bright glow appeared, the flower began to slowly close and shrink but just before she could finish the spell the bright glow suddenly exploded into a cloud of dust.
”I’ve had just about enough of your apathy, I and White lily cookie will be taking our leave.” Silent salt was hoping for an atleast civil conversation but it very quickly devolved into an argument. He already had his sword drawn but chose to not attack her yet, but just as he turned to leave he heard a loud bang and saw a cloud of smoke pooling out of the room white lily cookie and dark cacao went in, he rushed to the entrance but what he saw was completely unexpected, he saw a small girl with white hair and white lily cookies staff…? There was also a young boy in the room attempting to hold dark cacaos large sword they both appeared to be at most four years old.
Both the children looked like dark cacao and white lily cookie, it didn’t take a genius to put two and two together to figure out who these young children were, he gently got on one knee so he wouldn’t intimidate the kids any further… it didn’t work, white lily saw him and let out a loud scream and dark cacao had tried to drag his large sword over but gave up and ran over standing between silent salt and white lily cookie, silent salt placed his sword down and held his hands up “I am not your enemy, I will not harm either of you intentionally.” Neither of them seemed too convinced as the both backed up until they were in the corner, silent salt noticed mystic flour had walked over and looked completely gobsmacked at the two young children in the room. The two children didn’t seem to be completely afraid of her but silent salt was aware he looked well, terrifying to young children. He turned his head to her letting out a heavy sigh “mystic flour, as much as I do not want your assistance, can you please calm them down” she turned to him and would have just said no and walked off but he spoke again “If you don’t calm them down I wont be able to and you’ll have two young cookies crying in your temple.” The threat of her peace being taken away was enough for her to start slowly approaching the young cookies cautiously as if they had a deadly virus that she had to cure, “Calm down younglings, silent salt is hardly of harm to either of you both.” The two seemed to consider her words seemed to still be hesitant about trusting silent salt yet. They still began to slowly approach her, dark cacao was eyeing silent salt cautiously but still got closer until they were just a few feet away from them both. White lily was practically clinging to dark cacaos back nervously glancing at mystic flour and silent salt. “Perhaps we can reverse whatever spell caused this? If anything did cause this…” white lily whispered into dark cacaos ear and he turned to silent salt cookie “We aren’t going anywhere with either of you!” Silent salt sighed when an idea popped into his head “what if we take you to pure vanilla cookie, he knows strong magic, he’ll help you get better.” White lily cookies face lit up when pure vanilla cookies name was mentioned. Dark cacao seemed skeptical but relaxed more at the mention of his friends name “fine, but only if She comes too!” He pointed straight at mystic flour cookie, silent salt couldn’t exactly blame the young cookie as well she was much less intimidating than he was but he did not want to have to go from all the way to crispia with two young children and mystic flour cookie, he was hoping she’d just say no but instead she ruined his day by saying “whatever makes you leave faster.” Silent salt wanted to slam his head down when he heard her say that but instead stood up and grabbed his sword “then let us depart.”
