Chapter Text
The coordinates on Sharpness’ communicator were slowly inching closer, he readied out his sword and checked his surroundings, keeping his guard up in case of any ambush.
He began lightly stepping the closer he got, not taking any chances. His body weaved through the trees, stepping over roots, making sure not to trip.
…
Meanwhile with Judelow, his ears bobbed up and down with every movement. The walking, getting somewhat tiring on his fast bunny legs. He moved with precision, fast and stealthy movements, coming natural with his bunny-like abilities.
Unlike Sharp, he didn't have to pull up the coords that the communicator had given him, his memory was unmatched, able to remember the slightest of details.
Jude ran up to a clearing in the middle of the dense forest, the sun had just begun rising as he finally made it to the coordinates. His ears twitched and perked up, hearing heavy stomping coming from the way the sunrise was.
Ready-ing his sword, he put his hand up to block the sun from his face, before having the wind knocked out of him. He was pushed against a tree, a figure looming in front of him, their sword pushed against his neck. “Sharpness!?” Jude exclaimed, he should've known the blonde would have something to do with this, he thought to himself.
“Judelow, why did you give me coordinates?” Sharpness said angrily, confusing Jude. “Me? I did no such thing!” Jude said, confusion thick in his voice. “You called me here to trap me, didn't you?” Sharpness questioned, not trusting Jude one bit.
“No I didn't!” Jude said, anger slightly bubbling due to him being woken up and then accused, when he himself had no clue what was going on with the stupid coordinates. With Sharp distracted and accusing him Jude took a moment to hit Sharpness’ netherite chestplate with his sword, the sword clanking against the chestplate roughly. Sharp lost his footing, caught off guard, giving Judelow the perfect chance to push him back even more. With the blonde's sword no longer pushed near his neck, he took more swings towards the taller man.
Both the men scuffled for a bit before an ear splitting cry paused them both in their pursuits looking over towards the sound. There was a tiny girl, her legs were up to her chest, body curled up defensively. Tears were streaming down her face, burning when they touched the darker spots on her face. The tussle that Jude and Sharp had before had scared the young girl, she was shaking with fear, very frightened.

Jude was confused as hell, silently trying to think of what they could be. Did Tai add a new mod to the server? If so, why this one? “Is there like a new mob or something?” Sharpness questioned out loud. The ear-splitting noises the kid was emitting were starting to bother Jude's large bunny ears, Jude began covering his ears to shield them from the loud noises.
Sharpness walked closer to the crying child, he put his hand on her head and began patting lightly on her head, like petting a cat. He tried to comfort them, though it seemed like their tears were never ending. She uncurled her body before latching onto Sharpness’ upper body, her face pushed up against his netherite. He awkwardly wrapped his hand around the little girl, trying to comfort her with a hug, almost like a parent.
Her cries slowly faded into sniffles, tired from the crying they yawned in Sharp's arms, it didn't take long for her to fall asleep shortly afterwards. Jude uncovered his ears, thankful his ears weren't being assaulted with the loud cries anymore. “What do we do with.. it?” Jude whispered not wanting to wake up the now sleeping child, lest he subject his ears to even more torture.
Sharpness’ look on his face was all Judelow had to see, his jade eyes begging- cutely may I add. If Jude had half a mind he would just leave right now, say no to this whole thing, leave Sharpness with this whole mess, this ender-child thingy. “Can we keep it?” He asked, “We can co-parent them.” the blonde added. “Fine, but what about the other people on the server, we can't just have a creature walking around. It'll put a target on our backs.” Jude said reluctantly, trying to reason with Sharpness. ".. and also only until we find their parents." the rabbit hybrid added.
“We can hide them!” Sharpness concluded, choosing to ignore that last part. “Right here, we can make a secret base for it.” He added. Jude really didn't want to go through all the trouble to build the base, but went along with it anyway. He started by going to chop trees since Sharp had his arms preoccupied, with the child in them.
…
The sun had begun to set by the time Jude came back with wood and other building supplies stacked in his poncho, not having extra inventory space for all of it. Jude quickly began to start building a little shack, meticulously placing blocks with breakneck speed due to his experience with building traps and his rabbit agility. Meanwhile, Sharpness laid on the grass, lounging around while the kid was still in his arms.
As the sun finally set and mobs awakened, the young girl opened her eyes, she was startled by the warm embrace. “Mrp..!” She made a small enderman-like noise before teleporting out of Sharpness’ arms. Sharpness shot up, no longer feeling the weight of the small girl in his arms, rapidly he scanned the surroundings for her. Just to see she had somehow grabbed a block from Jude's poncho and was putting it on the house. “Look Jude, she's trying to help build the house!” Sharpness said, astonished while trying not to giggle at the absurdity of it all.
“Yeah and while they help build the house, you can fend off mobs.” Jude replied, his voice laced with sarcasm and snark. Sharpness got up, making quick work of any mobs in the near vicinity while placing down some torches to make sure none spawned afterwards. Soon enough the shack was done, somehow the baby didn't make the shack ugly, her teleporting actually helped Jude a lot with the construction.
The inside of the shack was bare-bones for the moment, they just needed a place to stay for the night right now, they'd eventually make the place a home. For now both Sharpness and Jude went into the janky shack, they curled up together with the ender-child in-between them. The kid went to sleep with a content enderman sound, coddled in the middle.
