"Sup Heretics I'm back!" A familiar voice called iut as the door to the lab slammed open, There stood a familiar form of a fellow Segment.
Not Rho no... It's... Theta
He looks like he had just got back from a vacation or something, Completely oblivious of what has been going on but still so proud to be back.
"YOU'RE ALIVE?!?!??" Beta shouted, Theta takes off the sunglasses and raise a brow "Duh?... Hey where is everyone?" Theta asked while looking around noticikg that the Lab was concerningly quiet.
When he left there's still so many other segments and now he can count the few with his fingers, what is going on.
It confuses him more when Gamma approaches adn suddenly hugged him, Oh ok... This is... Fine?? Sort of, no it's not why is Gamma hungging him.
Theta felt so awkward he just pat the man's back, slow and awkward gesture while he look around at the other segments, Kappa eyes start tearing up while Epsilon raise a brow before going back to his files.
Chi look surprised, perhaps? Theta couldn't tell behidn that blank mask of his, and Omega look horrified (as he should!!).
"So uh, where is everyone else?" Theta asked after Gamma finally let him go "They're dead Theta" Gamma softly told.
"Dead??" Theta blink
Epsilon gestured to Omega "he did it, mass eradicate most of the segments" Epsilon told "Hey at least it was for the greater good" Omega argued.
"Greater good?? We'll discuss about that later" Epsilun glares which Omega glares back at.
"Yes! Does this mean Rho is dead?!" Theta asked way too excited than he should but they all expected it, The Angelic vessel and the Dragon doesn't get along that well.
But his excitement was shot down when Chi shake his head "Rho is alive, somewhere" he responded, Damn now Theta is less excited-
So... What happened was...
"Don't cut yourself off from the Network connection" Prime reminded, Theta rolled his eye "yea yea whatever old man" he grumbled.
Prime glares at him but Theta just waves him off while packing up his bags, Where is he going? Well he's going on a long expedition, to some place where only he can go.
Prime had detected a surge of seelies energy from an underground cavern somewhere in Inazuma and entering that nation itself will be a trouble and takes quite a long time, and once they're there The other segments would be useless to detect the energy.
Theta is the only one who could sense any faint energy of an angelic brethren, and so he was send out there...
But in classic Theta version he doesn't listen to what Prime warned him, the moment he left the Snezhnaya dock he cut himself off the network "ah finally peace and quiet~" he hummed calmly.
Little did he know this habit of his would somehow save him from the massive segments murder Omega would do in the following weeks after Theta departure.
"Your Idiocy never seems to amaze me" Chi click his tongue after he read Theta's report "but welcome back Theta" he added.
Theta spin on his chair "Well not like Prime would kill me off anyway" he confidently says "He didn't put you on either list" Omega pointed out.
Wow either prime knows Theta going to survive or he knows Theta is going to die, Theta boamed him but he know he was at least at fault because he himself does cut himself off from prime.
He hadn't been connecting to the Network so if prime assume he die in his expedition it's all his fault for not giving sign of life to begin with. So his survival was never matter to Omega's list. Thank Barbatos.
"Thank Barbatos I'm still alive~" He prayed
"Hey. We don't pray in this household" Chi scolded "yea that's why this household sucks!" Theta argued back and there they goes again... It hasn't been an hour and Theta already start an argument.
Befoee it could escalated even more the door slide open and they turn to look at who it is, it was Prime. His expression masked underneath his maks when he saw Theta.
But it's clear he was surprised seeing the angel, his finger twitch as he approaches and Theta stood up on his full height (which isn't much).
He look up at Prime and before he could greeted the Man, Prime put a hand to his hair. Theta stare up as Prime ruffled his hair "Good job" Prime simply says before turning away and leaving to his office.
Simple but means a lot, despite any of them saying they hate Prime such words coming from him meant quite a lot to them.
"Soooo where's Alpha and Rho?" Theta asked "you guys says they survive..."
"Alpha is in a Coma" Kappa says while rummaging through Theta's belonging and throwing things out without a care. Of course-
He stop when he find the candy, Unwrapping it and chomping on it, didn't try to clean the stuff up at all and Theta didn't seems to care either. He'll let his stuff scattered all over the place.
"We don't know where Rho is, he went with Prime to Nod Krai and well..." Kappa shrugged instead of finishing his words.
Huh interesting...
"Great now who's ID am I supposed to use whenever I want to order some stuff??" Theta click hid tongue in annnoyance.
"Maybe you should stop ordering things off limit to your age" Chi's scolding only be returned by a middle finger from Theta.
