Uzi had stopped watching when N and Nori left, opting to play video games instead.
And she was killing it!
"Nice, Uzi!" The Solver would praise over her shoulder.
"You win!" The game announced, advertising its sequel.
"Can I go home now? I miss N..."
"You've been here about 22 hours until you can return."
Uzi groaned at that response.
Then felt Nori reach out again, this time strong enough to make her gasp.
"She's near Cabin Fever Labs and The Abyss, that's why it's so strong..."
"Abyss?" Uzi asked, confused.
"Oh! There's a hole on Copper-9... well, more of a subway than a tunnel, are you following?"
Uzi nodded slowly, still unsure how a pit had anything to do with the situation.
The Solver continued, "It leads to... a part of the planet's collapsed core that... Cyn has 'modified'-"
The Solver put finger quotes around modified
"-to be kinda a core of my own? If that makes sense? It's fleshy and all, like your insides"
Uzi cringed internally at that
"... and if The Abyss is the rabbit hole then... I guess this is wonderland... which would make you Alice... I have a few hosts named Alice... You've met one..." The Solver started rambling, reminding her of N talking about Golden Retrievers...
Or how much he loved her...
"Why are you blushing?"
That snapped Uzi...
And made the purple lines on her visor fill the whole bottom row of pixels instead of just the corners...
"Oh, are you thinking about that one time you and N mated?" The Solver asks bluntly.
"BITE ME!" Uzi yells as furiously as she was blushing, and storms off... straight into a door...
"I recreated your room for you." The Solver informs.
"Great. So helpful to generate a door in my face." Sarcasm filled Uzi's voice. "Is that why people call you by your last name Doorma-"
"BITE ME!"
Uzi slams the door.
She was met with a purple light across her anime and Dead Batteries posters... But instead of her crazed ramblings, there were animes... the innocent kind N would watch...
"Don't worry, Uzi!" The Solver said behind her.
"GAH!"
"I didn't watch once I realized you two were mating, so I didn't see anything except for you moaning as he starts to put hi-"
"DON'T JUST SNEAK UP ON ME LIKE THAT! ROBOJESUS! GIVE ME A FU-!"
"Are you done yelling at me?"
That tone and the look in N's its made her regret yelling for a second...
Then she remembered the... THING she was pitying.
"... Yeah, I'm done, just knock or something next time, ok?"
"Okay." It sounded really sad.
"Uzi... uh, speaking of mating and all"
"You brought up the mating."
"I know! ... Just... Can I ask you a favor?"
"Related to mating?!"
"Yeah... uh... would you mind if I... kinda... made you pregnant to get more hosts? Just cause like you're here and all and I did save your life NOT THAT THAT MEANS YOU OWE ME OR ANYTHING just... my hosts have been kinda dying out I used to have over 17,000 now I have 2,100 well more than that but like I can use N's code if you'd like so it'd be your children and all and I mean you'll probably be able to give Nori a body if you ingest her especially early in the pregnancy and I mean sure it would hurt and all the birth will probably be agony but I'd be FOREVER in your debt even with all the favors and trying to make it as comfortable as I can for you already speaking of which it'd be easier to ensure pregnancy if Cyn aka your tail were to breed you for a full day or so but I can try to do it like remotely if possible and if you do let me restock on hosts would you prefer egg-laying or live birth? Fair warning you'll be pregnant with thousands."
The Solver stares at her expectantly.
Uzi stares back in shock, her processors working through the ramble and catching up.
"... What?... WHAT?!?! ... WHA- What do you mean egg-laying?! WHAT KIND OF TWISTED MIND DO YOU HAVE!?!?!"
"PLEASE STOP WITH THE YELLING! I'M JUST ASKING A FAVOR!"
Right... No yelling...
"How about this:" The Solver speaks up hesitantly. "You go home in an hour and a half and think about it. Now that you've been here and all, we should be able to communicate. If you don't hear from me within... 15 hours then talk to Nori about learning telepathy or, like, meditate and listen, but you'd have to be patient and everyone knows you're not exactly the patient kind-"
"You're rambling" Uzi comments like she does with N sometimes.
"...oh... sorry"
"It's ok..."
Silence filled the room as Uzi looks around again.
When she turns back, The Solver was gone.
Uzi sighs and flops onto the her bed...
