"Ow! Ah, Mrs. Doorman? Your... uh... claws are digging into my shoulder and it really hurts!" N whined, respectfully subdued and gentle.
"Well, sooorrry you fly faster than the speed of sound! ... 13.7 mps faster if I'm right..." "13.73" N corrects as he gently takes Nori ("Hey, what are you doing?!") And sets her in a pocket, placing her close to his chest where she squirms before settling against the heat source.
It was a comfy pocket by her standards, but she wasn't sure how she felt about being this close to a murder drone's core... and the heat radiating from it... it was probably double than the heat from her, even through his skin and clothes.
Although, he probably hadn't had oil as recently as her...
"Hey... when did you last have oil?" Nori asks suddenly.
"Uh... I dunno... a... little while ag- Ah, biscuits! I'm gonna need some soon... and I didn't even bring any! Biscuits! Ah, stupid N! It's ok... I can scavenge."
N soon started spiraling close enough to drop from the sky on a decapitated worker drone and drink deeply from a severed arm.
"Hey, Mrs. Doorman?"
"Yeah?"
"... you still need oil too, right?"
"Yeah."
"You want some?"
"Yeah, just put some in your hand or something."
N did so as Nori climbed out of his pocket and into his hand. N could feel Nori... lapping...? ... up the oil. It felt... indescribably weird... like being licked by a tentacle... or- she crawled back into his pocket. His hand was wet but not with oil...
"Well, come on! I want to my daughter back!"
Ignoring the lingering feeling of Nori's 'tongue', N asks "Mrs. Doorman, where are we going?" Nori hadn't thought of that. "Uhm... North? I guess we're just... looking for signs of her." N took off again, the arm still in hand, after checking Nori was secure.
Nori leaned into N's heat source, missing the comfort of a body. After all, it wasn't like she could throw on a hoodie like this.
Suddenly, thinking of Uzi, Nori felt something. "WAIT!"
N stopped abruptly. "What?"
"I feel her... Uzi, her presence is stronger... Where is she?"
