A Guide to Jamil's Route
The following guide was written for Jamil’s route in Twisted-Wonderland: Four Seasons With You. For guides to the other guys’ routes, check my pinned post! As of now, this guide only covers the main game, but if DLC gets released, I’ll try to work as fast as possible to update it.
First things first, be aware that Jamil’s route is NOT A ROMANTIC one. It’s FRIENDSHIP-BASED. Do not send asks to the blog to argue against that decision because I’m not Aniplex.
Let’s start with a quick presentation of Jamil.

Description:
Okay, so here’s the thing. At first glance, Jamil is THE guy. He’s nice to you, has a good sense of style, is polite and handsome… But that’s only scratching the surface. Once you land in Scarabia, he’ll show his true face. He has both an inferiority and a superiority complex; he can be mean and unrelenting and, more than all of this, he’ll straight-up lie to you when it comes to requirements to get on his good side. This is what this guide is for!
What to do:
You’ll first meet him (and all the other characters) at the opening ceremony, like in the first game, but you’ll only be able to interact with him starting the Savanaclaw investigation. What you should absolutely NOT do is ignore Kalim or dismiss his attempts to talk to you. Even if Jamil isn’t present in the scene, this will affect his affection meter. If you try getting close to Jamil without passing by Kalim first, you’ll end up with short scenes where he’s very impersonal. If Kalim approaches you to talk, go along with him unless you’re aiming for another guy (if so, why are you reading this guide?). By listening to him, you’ll learn more about Jamil’s real personality and even get a few cute childhood anecdotes from it! Cheers for the childhood friends, always here to spill secrets.
The most critical moment is (obviously) during the Overblot. That’s where your playthrough can reach a dead end, so be careful! It’s also when some people get on Kalim’s route instead of Jamil’s, so pay attention to the following instructions. First of all, for the love of the Seven, don't decide to ignore Kalim once Jamil makes it clear he hates him. This will be your undoing. Do NOT listen to the guy, he's misleading you and you will get is the bad ending.
> Go with Kalim on the Carpet. No, really. If you skip this event, you won’t be able to talk to Jamil the following day. So hop on the Carpet and when Kalim tells you he’s worried about Jamil, answer with “...” which will unlock a small event with Jamil the next day where you can force him to rest for a few minutes.
> Once you’re in the desert, choose to admonish Kalim but not to the point of tears (the others will do it anyway) and it’ll lead to him praising you once Jamil is healed up. Choosing to join the others into bullying Kalim will (strangely) put you on Kalim’s route so be careful.
> When Jamil wakes up from the Overblot, slip away from his room so he can talk to Kalim alone. Go in the kitchen and fix up something for him and when you’ll come back, he’ll thank you for being considerate.
Congratulations, you’re on Jamil’s route for real this time! I know it just sounds like you were Scarabia’s wing(wo)man but trust the process (you can’t do anything else anyway)
What you need to know now is that, every time you get some alone time with Jamil, don’t try assaulting him with questions. That’ll make him close right up, and he’ll get away from you, cutting scenes short. Choose to stay silent, basking in contemplation with him, or bring up music and dance (can’t go wrong with that). Little by little, he’ll initiate conversations with you, and, at some point, you might even ask him to accompany you downtown for some sightseeing… But it’s not a date (unfortunately). Kalim might even be here sometimes with some sort of excuse (generally, Jamil just tells you he can’t leave him alone), but go along with it. It’s not like you can date either of them anyway.
Below is a detailed guide to arguably the hardest part of the game, the dream world where you can take your relationship to a whole other level (of friendship).
