Summary:
“A moment later he placed two medium bags of salty popcorn up on the counter and slid a smaller bag of popcorn directly toward Xie Lian who tilted his head in confusion.
“Just a little bit of sweet popcorn.” The cashier shot him another one of those smiles.
Despite how grateful he was, Xie Lian felt like he should try to refuse. “Oh…I…I don’t want to get you in trouble…”
“Don’t worry about it, Gege, this one’s on me.” Xie Lian’s face flushed a darker shade of red both at the gesture and the nickname.”
OR
Xie Lian loves going to the cinema with Feng Xin and Mu Qing, even though they always mock him for getting flustered when ordering tickets from the handsome man behind the counter. Sweet popcorn leads to a Hualian movie date that doesn’t just end when the credits roll.
