Chapter Text
And so he traveled, far, far away. Crossing oceans just to get away from Japan, where Fluixon met the small boy who went by Saps that looked too much like his own Saparata. He strayed away from the countryside completely and arrived in Korea, a country under Japanese rule. Fluixon opted on living in the more urban parts of Korea to prevent the usual harassment foreigners would get.
Fluixon took multiple classes in the small college he found to be in the center of the city, using the money he earned from the business he– no, Flux’s grandmother and he ran. Fluixon made a lot of friends along the way, classmates and strangers alike.
Day after day he went to university, exhausted himself and went back home. He had a study session at a restaurant nearby with his haired friends. As he walked back to his dormitory a gentle hand tapped his arm holding his handkercheif, black with purple hydrangeas embroidered on it.
“My apologies, you seem to have dropped this mister.” A gentle male voice graced his ears, the man had pale blond hair and those same lemon eyes.
His hanfu flowed gracefully behind him, it was as pink as a peach complementing the blush on his cheeks.
Fluixon froze over in shock.
For dropping a mere handkerchief…can fate be so cruel?
“Is everything okay?” His melodic voice asked.
“Ah yes,” Fluixon responded, taking hold of the handkerchief. “Thank you.”
“Umm, are you new around here, I’ve never seen you before.” The beautiful boy asked, the nervous look on his face matched Fluixon's, “I could show you around!”
”I’m actually a local!” Fluixon replied back, flustered and loud.
“Oh…I see.” He said, disappointment clinging to his gentle yet manly features.
“We can still hang out…” Fluixon started, giving into Saparata as if it were the easiest thing ever. “if you want to.”
”Really?” The man smiled at him in joy, his smile as bring as the morning sun. His presence alone had the same intensity as Saparata. Always Saparata.
And so they hung out as often as the opportunity arised, as per Silias' request.
He’s cute.
Picnics under the big bright sun. Sikhye and Mandu. Green grass and pink flowers.
I don’t think I love him like he loves me though.
Restaurant. Western clothes. Italian food. Rain pattered on the windows.
But I cannot help but indulge him with dates anyway.
Stargazing. Black fluffy blanket and a chilling wind.
People in this town seem to like him too.
Doing homework. Sandalwood perfume and the smell of books.
But just because I don’t love him does not mean I want him to suffer.
A cafe. Strong, black coffee and snow white foam on his nose.
Or die.
Grocery shopping. Kids yelling and coins clinking.
I wish not to keep him away from people who do love him.
That’s why…
“Flux! I was wondering if you are free tomorrow,” the boy joyfully spoke. “Do you want to come to the bakery down the street with me this Saturday?
”Of course!”
I’ve come up with a plan.
And so Fluixon packed his bags the same day.

Silias waited, drinking his sweet milk coffee and wondering where the beautiful purple eyed boy was.
Today’s the day…
Fluixon wore a dark cloak, clothes different than his usual.
I will miss this place,
A small tear dripped down his face.
But I really must go.
His small bag dragged against the pavements.
If I’m correct, he should survive if I leave now. There is still one day left till the 30th day.
He passed the bakery
I’m sorry for lying to you.
He caught the attention of a white haired boy that awaited him in formal clothes.
But I can’t bring myself to tell you the truth…
He looked back, catching the white haired boy’s golden eyes.
But I can’t let you die again.
So he fled, before the boy could take a better look, but said boy was already chasing after him.
Please live!
He hid behind a wall. Easily fooling the boy that was chasing after him.
Live and be happy, I beg you!
The boy trembled.
”Excuse me,” asked the white haired boy to passers by, anyone who would listen. “Did you see a guy in a mantle run through here by any chance?”
“Ah, yes.” A brown haired boy , a cunning smile graced his sharp features, “he ran that way, but you may want to be fast if you want to catch up.”
The tanned boy pointed to the street left to them.
“Thank you,” yelled Saparata as he scrambled to get to Fluixon. “Thank you so much!”
”See? Continued the cunning boy, “they’re doing just fine!”
“Yeah he seems fine right now,” replied the other white haired boy in anger. “But you know fully well he is to die.”
”Yeah but I get to be with you when we watch over them.” Thomas winked in response, “so it’s a win-win situation.”
”If it weren’t for Fluixon and Saparata I would have strangled you by now.” Micro replied his hand lifted to slap Thomas.
”I know!” The angel giggled in response.

Fate was cruel to us.
Fluixon ran like there was no tomorrow.
But I don’t want to be cruel to you.
Tears dripped down his face like there was no tomorrow.
Not again…
He reached a barren road where merchants used to travel, begging them to let him join.

Saparata brought a horse, paid as much as he had on hand.
I don’t want to lose you.
The horse refused to comply, he was almost there.
Please not again.
He fell on the grass, trees surrounded him.
If only I could’ve seen you…just one last time…
Blood stained the rock right under his head. The grass and the bark of the tree he crawled before leaning against.
I know…you would comfort me. Makes me selfish for wishing you were here, doesn’t it?
A tiny black cat crawled just a bit far away from the man on his dying breath. The cat's mouth was stained with red from the puppy he held by its scruff. The white pup was clearly attacked by the cat yet the black entity whimpered and cried as if he wanted to save the dog.
Are you trying to mock me?
The boy cried, looking at the scene. The cat tried to cover the dog with its fur, circle it around so that he wouldn’t feel cold.
Still…thank you…
Saparata crawled over to the cat, his bleeding hand touched the crown of its head.
I hope we meet again…
The cat continued whining, sobbing as if that’d bring the puppy back.
Fluixon.

After Fluixon's latest failure he decided to watch Saparata, or rather Shiro now, from afar.
“Flux! I finally found you!” Yelled Wifies, his latest friend. “What are you doing on a tree again?
”Animal watching,” he replied, after all he was watching his beloved "puppy".
I will make sure, this time.
“In the city? Stop the jokes and get down!” Giggled the boy in return.
”Alright, alright.”
That he lives a full and happy life.
“The other crew members were looking for you,” The black haired boy clasped his hands and dragged him.
Without me.
A smile graced Fluixon’s face.
I thought traveling as a merchant, I’d be able to avoid Saparata easily. But somehow it seems as though no matter where I go, Saparata is always bound to be close.
Could this be some unsaid part of the curse? The meetings I’ve avoided have been avoided narrowly. It was quite hard.
Fluixon covers his face with a bowl hat as he passes Saparata by, a little too close than he’d prefer.
I want to make sure this time he lives a happy and long life, but what could I do if I’m forced to watch from far away? What even makes people’s lives happy?
Fluixon took a second to glance around, seeing daily life was always so abnormal to him.
I’m not really sure.
The dog that snuggled up to a woman in her dress caught his eyes.
Pets?
Then the gold of a woman’s necklace.
Jewelry and riches?
He saw a couple, the two held hands. Kissed basking in the sunlight.
Or…
”What are you doing Flux?” Wifies waved his hand in front of the boy’s eyes. “Spacing out again?”
”Wifies,” Fluixon began as he jolted into focus, “are you looking for a lover right now?”
”L-lover?” The lively boy stuttered, face slightly red as he tried to maintain composure. “Me?
”Yes, you’d do perfect!” Fluixon exclaimed with a smile, his expression however melancholic.
He held Wifies by his arms.
“You are handsome, kind, and also like bantering.” Wifies turned redder by the second suddenly having nothing to say. “How did I not think of this before!”
”Are you saying-“ before Wifies could complete however he was interrupted, a finger pointed to a handsome man talking to a business man.
“Wifies, see that man with white hair there?”
“Huh? Yes...” the dog like boy replied, perplexed. His headband flowed in the wind.
The sun hit eyes from behind Fluixon, almost as if the boy was glowing in the sunset. His pale skin orange, his purple eyes now a dusty peach.
”I think you two would make such a beautiful couple,” Fluixon smiled at his own wonderful thought. “Why don’t you go over there and shoot your shot?"
