    Summary

Avid reader Aventurine wakes up as a noble in his favourite novel, 'Trailblazing Romance' which should've been a dream come true—until he realises he's inhabiting a body with a mysterious illness whose of no one else but the nameless spouse of Veritas Ratio—the villain he always loathed and who the spouse is destined to be executed alongside.

Determined to (literally) keep his head on his shoulders, Aventurine does everything in his power to avoid the execution that ended the original timeline.

But while doing so, he learns that Veritas Ratio isn’t exactly the villain and that the heroine perspective might not have been exactly correct.

He had to admit, even though Trailblazing Romance was mostly shitty and had huge plot holes, it had one thing going for it—the way the heroine and the prince fit together perfectly.

Their loyalty, the build up from strangers to friends to then romantic partners—all of that had been unfairly adorable to read. And Aventurine may or may not have giggled a few times while reading those parts, but nobody had to know that.

    Summary

The gambler glanced around briefly before taking out a small cylinder like object out of his pocket. He rolled it in his hand a couple times, just to feel that it was tangible. That it was real.

Carefully, as if it could vanish any second, he opened the cylinder to reveal Ratio’s message, the one he’d given him in Penacony.

Do stay alive. I wish you the best of luck.

Aventurine knew he should’ve thrown it out a while ago now but… for some desperate reason he had always kept it on him ever since he made it out of the nihility.

He folded the message back into his pocket before he could get too sappy. Yes, Ratio did tell him to keep on living but…it most likely did not mean anything to the man. He was simply being a good doctor.

    -

The esteemed scholar Veritas Ratio and the thrill-seeking Stoneheart Aventurine have been paired together once again to retrieve an important IPC data chip. These two men who have seemingly nothing in common other than their role in the retrieval of Penacony will have to collaborate once again. This should pose no problem, since they are both incredibly detached from the other and have no feelings what so ever… right?

    Summary

"Doctor, doctor, doctor." An audible smile hung in the silence. "What's a renowned genius with eight doctorates spanning mathematics, the sciences, and even philosophy doing teaching in the Department of Architecture?"

Their hairs on the back of Veritas' neck stood up in alarm as he froze. That's what's off. At least that nagging feeling in his head was now satiated, only to be replaced by unease. How did this person get in? And how did Veritas fail to see them? Sure, his office had enough space for a coffee table and a couple of armchairs but it wasn't all that big. Another thing that came to mind was that this was no student of his; students don't address him with the "doctor" prefix.

Without waiting for an answer, the voice continued, "All the same, I am a big fan of your work."

In a world where superheroes have been outlawed, an ex-villain tries to seek another out for some... enrichment, only to find themselves wrangling with the intricacies of their professional lives, celebrity statuses, and all the feelings in between. Really, who has time for villainy when there's so much going on?

    Summary

Arius-III, a primarily water-based planet that held a frigid climate due to its distance from the sun. Frigid seas and turbulent mountains made up the vast majority of what it had to offer. Landmasses were far and few between, but technological advances led to the formation of manmade structures to allow life to flourish. The vast resources within the world's oceans, ranging from minerals and oils to an abundance of aquatic life, made it an appealing place to study.

The artificial island of Insel Null served as a landing point for those who arrived from beyond the skies and other parts of the world. LeMu, the large attraction built far under the sea's surface, doubles as both a theme park and a resort for tourists. A fourth floor unlisted to the public contains a research facility for studies and experimentation.

This is where Dr Ratio and Aventurine find themselves after recovering from the events of Penacony.
