[Elliot_pizza:HEY! How is it going?]
[Jim_Computer: …OKAY I guess :/]
[Elliot_pizza: …Why? What happened?]
[Jim_Computer: …]
[Elliot_pizza: Jim?]
Elliot was a bit worried for him…He just met the guy and already, he felt so close with him. He wanted Jim to be okay.
[Elliot_pizza: Do… you have a phone number?]
He felt his heart sinking… He knew this was a bad idea, and his eyes popped out when he saw Jim went offline.
“Rats..”
Alone again. He was alone, he wished that he asked one of his Co workers their user, but he was so blindsided to getting home to talk with Jim, that he forgot to ask anyone else. He sighed. His sister then knocked on the door, this shocked him a bit. Mia was like a preteen, at this point he thought she was already in the phase, “grrrr I HATE EVERYONE!" But here she is knocking on his door. He went to open the door. He saw her just looking away, maybe regret, but she waited until Elliot said something.
“...Hello?”
“Hi, brother…”
Her voice was very monotone, and she didn't even look up to her older brother.
“You needed me?”
“...You seem closed off, It's odd I just noticed that you didn't say hi to me or dad…”
Elliot paused, he then looked down to level with her in the eyes.
“You know I hate looking people in the eye just to go back where you were at.”
Elliot nodded gosh how could he so dumb, he first forgot to say hello to his sister and dad and now this!? He was going to speak and then he heard a ding, from his computer. His sister looked around in his room, and asked.
“Is that from work?”
He looked at Mia and wondered if he should lie to her, but part of him needs to check up with Jim, what if he wasn't okay? What if something odd happened.
“I will be right back.”
He closed his door to check what was going on. It was Jim he felt that he was just blushing over this guy. What the hell was wrong with him. He looked at the messages he left.
[Jim_Computer: …Yeah? Sorry I just didn't…never mind. Here is my number.]
Elliot looked at the number… Wait, were those numbers near? Did he live in the area? RATS ELLIOT WE WENT OVER THIS He lives in cross roads!? He then finally had Jim's phone number… Hopefully this won't be a distraction from his work. Who knows. He sighed and calmed himself down to open the door to see Mia was still standing there. She raised an eyebrow.
“Ohhh I get it.”
“Uh!?”
“...YOU ARE IN LOVE!!!!”
Elliot’s face was red, his heart was beating, his legs felt like they were weak…
“NO AM NOT IN LOVE!”
It hurt him to say that but at the same time was he? Was he in love with Jim or was he embarrassed that he was called out for something completely uncalled for. There were so many thoughts in his head.
“...Elliot?”
“Uh? Sorry I am lost in thought, but sis I am not in love, or I don't think I am. Look, I am just talking with people from work.”
He hated lying to his sister, but he couldn't tell her what was going on. She would tell their dad if she knew. Mia nodded and left him. He missed when she would give him a hug after a conversation, but at last he was happy. It felt kinda nice for not telling Mia. He opened up his phone to see a text from Jim. That smile came off his face, and went back to his room but this time didn't close the door. He wanted to make sure that they didn't think he was isolating himself. He sat on his bed to read the message that Jim left him
