As Wifies got home, closing the door with a small click he felt utterly exhausted. Who knew socializing for more than a few hours and then having classes could be so hard? Why did nobody warn him that if you want friends you have to talk to them- okay well maybe that one is a bit unreasonable but still!
Goodness he was tired. Stupid professors giving him so much work to do. Speaking of which he should probably get ready to study for a few hours and all that stuff. So he slips off his shoes at the entrance of his house, and puts his bag on the small hook in the doorway for tomorrow.
He heads into the kitchen first, making some coffee for himself. Pure black coffee is his favorite because of course why else would he try anything sweeter? He puts the Coffee cup on one of his coasters, putting it on his desk in his study. Yes he has a study. Why wouldn't he?
Everyone has to study! OR maybe he's just less educated about the world due to maybe being a clone- but that's not important! Well maybe it is but the point is you need a neat and tidy area to study! Which is why Wifies has a study. (Okay thats too many repeats of “study” dude.. ;3)
As Wifies gets his laptop and some of the books he got at the library like the “King In Yellow.” It looked interesting, he'll probably read it to help him sleep! He tries his best to put everything he needs and his laptop on his desk while also keeping enough room for notes because his desk is a little small.
As he begins to study, he zones out. It's always been easy for him to zone out as his body usually runs on autopilot normally so it kind of feels like he's teleporting when he zones back in. He was actually kind of glad he didn't zone out completely today and all! Plus he even made a new friend.
Or at least he hopes they are friends? It'd be bad if Parrot didn't see them as friends but Wifies did. But! He did get parrot's number as well as even got this new app. Discord or something? Squiddo taught him how to use it. He also has to play horror games with them sadly.
Well not like he doesn't want to hang out with them! He just has never played horror games and worse they said it was about SPIDERS. One thing about Wifies is that he's afraid of spiders! He even had to move because he saw a whole bunch of them in his old apartment.
But away from the topic of spiders, he saw a cat! It was adorable really, sat on his lap and everything. Maybe he'd get a pet cat when he has the time too- FLUTTER! What the freak was that. Wifies got up, and grabbed the nearest bast, HOLY A MOTH WAS IN HIS KITCHEN!!!
He scrambled to open the door, hiding to see if it leave or not. ‘So close.. Just a little closer to the door.. Pleasee..’ he mentally begged in his mind, hoping the moth would leave. And it did! After 30 whole minutes of waiting and getting like 50 more bugs in his house.
Finally! He shut the door with a soft click, turning his attention to his now done essay. Huh! It was actually pretty good! Or well good enough for his professors. He didn't want to bother trying to make it perfect like he usually was! He wanted to test this new app.
Of course he did make sure to change his name! Squiddo told him it'd be better so that way he wouldn't look like a bot and even showed him their own profile for inspo! Squiddo did make his user and name though. He chose his profile at least.

Wifies felt proud! He made a friend to hangout with on the weekend! If you don't call that growth then Wifies is definitely done for. Maybe it isn't growth? Making one new friend in like a few years of living around in the area… Well besides your customers and all but still!
Wifies made a friend and that's what matters! It is also late so he should start getting ready for bed and all, do his usual routine and maybe figure out what this “nearby cafe” has for drinks. He likes trying something new! Maybe like a pure black coffee with whipped cream?
People do say it is sweet so it might work. Wifies would much rather just get his usual black coffee. Maybe he'll put some sugar in it then, try something new! Wifies is always trying something new, like socializing! Trust him.
Whatever, he needs to get ready for bed! That's what matters not thinking about the fact he's finally made a friend after- oh goodness he's hopeless. What's next he's gonna fall in love with his boss?
At least he found Something New to do over the weekend.(get it cuz its the name of the fic? Oh okay..) Maybe a nice quick shower could help clear his mind! He enjoys showers, they’re always so relaxing to him for some odd reason.
As he steps into the shower, he shivers a little. Goodness he might have set it too co- bonk and he's fallen to the floor, his shampoo bottles hit him on the head too. Great! Guess misery's just another word for him..
After that terrible incident in the shower, he brushes his hair, ears, and tries to fix the fact his tail is now all poofy after being dried with the blow dryer. He puts on his pajamas, a white shirt and black shorts. He never bothered to get actual pajamas, what's the point in that?
He decides that he needs a nice treat. Dark chocolate! He loves the taste of it. So he wanders into the kitchen and opens the fridge, trying to find where the heck he put that chocolate at. Man, why'd he hide it so well? There's NOBODY to hide it from!
He finally finds it and eats like 3 in one bite, you cant blame him he likes it alot! He puts the chocolate back and starts to turn off all the lights in his house. Maybe he could binge watch that one anime squiddo recommended. What was it called?.. A lull in the sea or something.
So he gets in bed and opens up his laptop to find the website he uses to watch stuff for free! He likes saving his money instead of wasting it on shows he's probably gonna finish watching in a few days with his horrible sleep schedule.
He begins watching it. The plot is interesting as well as the characters..This is actually pretty nice. How'd squiddo know he was probably gonna like it? Do customers normally know that you might like something even if you haven't talked to- him and squiddo were friends.
No normal customer and worker relationship means playing games together, talking, updates, sometimes hanging out! It filled Wifies with a warm fuzzy feeling, happiness maybe. It settled there, like it owned the place which maybe it did. Maybe it was always there.
Maybe the only reason Wifies noticed it now wasn't because he was feeling it for the first time. It was because he ignored it, refused to acknowledge it. Why? Even Wifies didn't know, why did he try to ignore those? Was it because he was a clone?
Wifies was tired. Maybe he should go to sleep earlier. He’ll watch the anime tomorrow. Yeah. And he'd talk to squiddo, ask her to hang out maybe? Nope, that was way too brave for him. He didn't like socializing or being the one to reach out first. But maybe he could change that.
Maybe he could change.
Maybe he doesn't have to be a clone.
Maybe he can be real.
Not just words on a screen.
Not just here, being written then submitted.
For people to enjoy.
