After over a dozen stories the bell rang and the clock hit four. They have all immediately got up rushed to the hallway with Han in the front and Leia in the back. Carl, the janitor waved to all of them as they said goodbye to him.
“See ya Han”
“Hey Carl”
They were both used to being here during weekends
“See you next Saturday”
“You bet!” Carl joshed
Anakin was already outside his car waiting for his kids, too early as usual, one of many signs of his occupational disease. He was chatting with Amy’s dad, both had their arms crossed, complaining about something. They could all bet it was about either football or politics. Mara’s dad stopped by perfectly in time just when Leia shut the door behind them.
Han stopped and came up to Leia giving her a long tender kiss, which she returned with pleasure.
“I’ll call you from my parent’s phone if they let me”
“I’ll be waiting” He kissed her forehead gently when he noticed Mr Skywalker was already waiting impatiently
Leia walked up to Luke and sat next to him in the back of the car.
Mr. Vernon walked into the library after a rather long nap he took on his desk table. It was half past four, and even Carl left. He stepped into the room and noticed a white paper sheet on the front table. He picked it up, reminding himself of the work he gave his students earlier that day. It indeed was an essay, Leia’s essay she had written right before they exited.
“Dear Mr. Vernon
We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you're crazy to make an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us... In the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain, and an athlete, and a basket case, a princess, and a criminal. Does that answer your question?
