Chapter Text
It had been two months since the night at the church. They had driven Frank straight to a hospital, thinking that he must have lost a lot of blood, but the doctors said he was perfectly healthy.
The night after it happened, Frank slept in Mikey’s bed. Part of him felt wrong for it, but he didn’t want to sleep alone. He didn’t think he ever would again. Everything made him jump, and his friends wouldn’t leave him by himself for more than ten seconds, which he was more than happy about, because every time he was left alone, and the silence got too much, he started to hear the whispering again.
With his friends help, Frank slowly started to be okay with being himself. He stopped cursing himself whenever he would fawn over Mikey, and he stopped going to confession twice a week. There was still a long, bumpy road ahead, but he knew he would be okay.
Mikey and Frank had even been on a date to see a horror movie— They had to leave halfway through when a character got possessed and the memories came flooding back, but aside from that, they had a lovely time.
He was also shocked to learn that Ray and Gerard had been dating for nearly three years, and was even more shocked that he hadn’t noticed.
That night changed their lives forever, and they would never be the same again. Mostly in bad ways, but everything has a silver lining.
