Chapter Text
Aziraphale's body of stars takes a step towards Crowley, taking in his new surroundings. His face, although no longer the same in its new celestial form, brings Crowley just as much joy to see as it always has. Aziraphale reaches up, touching Crowley's own constellation body, and the stars that make him up twinkle at his touch.
"Crowley," Aziraphale whispers. "What are we?"
Crowley can't help but smile, despite the confusion and worry. He never thought he would hear that voice again. He did not wish to think back to their departure from their last realm, the pain of losing Aziraphale too much to re-live. He could not help but think, however, that that event had seemed so very long ago, despite it being the last thing he could remember.
"We're stars, Angel," Crowley says, not quite believing it himself.
"How is that.. but we.." Crowley places his hand on Aziraphales arm, silencing his whirring mind.
"What matters, Angel, is that we're okay. And we're together," He smiles. Aziraphale's eyes are so very beautiful as stars.
"I suppose energy cannot simply just.. disappear," Aziraphale mutters. He looks up, back into Crowley's glinting white eyes. They are no longer the beautiful amber glow that captivated him, but they still shine with the hope and love that Aziraphale knows.
"Crowley, I... I thought I'd lost you. I know we said we were okay with- with all of that, but I never want to leave you, ever, ever again!" Aziraphale crashes into Crowley, arms wrapping tightly around him, face pressed into his chest. Crowley holds Aziraphale, gently stroking the streaks of stars that were once his hair.
"You won't have to. Here, we can stay, our own empty space in the sky, just you and me. Forever. They can't take it away from us this time."
Aziraphale turns, his gaze settling on something he is shocked to realise they had not yet noticed. Not too far in the distance, a blue and green orb is nestled amongst the blanket of empty space.
"Earth. Remade, just like she promised," Aziraphale smiles, taking Crowley's hand. He is relieved to feel the familiar warmth of his grip.
"I wonder what it's like down there," Crowley says.
"You know we can't, Crowley."
"I know. But we don't need Earth anymore. All we need is eachother, and that's all we have. We can make our own new Alpha Centauri, our own space in the sky just for us, together at last. I do not care if you are human, angel, stars, or anything else. I will love you in every single lifetime, in every universe and in every form, no matter what. We don't need Earth. We just need eachother."
Aziraphale places a hand on Crowley's cheek, the same cheek he has thought he would never touch again.
"I love you too Crowley," He smiles. Then gently, he presses his lips to Crowley's, feeling the warmth of his celestial body. This was all they needed.
The weight of heaven and hell no longer burdened them, as they spent the rest of their eternity together, in their own empty space in the sky.

Asa sits beside Anthony, hands entwined in a soft embrace, the pair gazing up at the stars. Their favourite constellation was clear in the sky, albeit hard to recognise, as this constellation was different from others. It seemed to move. Right now, the pair that it seemed to show were locked in a loving embrace.
Anthony wonders, if somewhere out there, there is another universe. He wonders if he and Asa love eachother there too. He hopes so.
Above them, the constellation twinkles. The stars burn strongly, and Anthony likes to think that they are watching over him and Asa.
He supposes he will never know. But he does not need to. All he needs is Asa, and that is what he has.
