I slept deeply, better than i have in a long time. No nightmares came to me that night, which I was greatful for. Johanna still slept soundly beside me. when I woke up my head still felt a little fuzzy, definitely not like how being high felt, I supposed this was the after effects of it. My phone buzzed once, then twice.

This was me, Johanna, Finnick, and Annie's group chat. One of many we are in, Johanna did the honour of choosing the name. I decide to tell them about what happened last night.

Katniss Everdeen: It went pretty good actually. Me and Johanna smoked a joint and then went to sleep. She is still asleep, and I didnt have any nightmares! Which was good. 😁

I looked back over to Johanna, who was snoring lightly. I smiled to myself, before peppering a few kisses to her face. This wakes her up. I watch her eyes gently flutter open, and focus on me.
"Hey, brainless." She muttered, stretching and making a small sound.
"Hey." I reply. "Did you have a schedule for today?"
She blinks, thinking for a moment.
"I suppose not, I was gonna work on that buck at some point though." She shrugs, sitting up now.
"Finnick invited us over to smoke." I tell her.
"Oh that's awesome, when did he say to go?" She asked me, getting up out of bed.
"You'll have to ask him, he didn't say." I shrug, a learned habit; Johanna doesn't do that.
"Alrighty." She gave me a kiss on the forehead, and walked to the bathroom.

I walked into the bathroom, for some reason I woke up feeling like i was gonna piss my damn self. Katniss asked me to ask Finnick about the time he wants us over, so what better way to spend the time? I check my phone and see abunch of new messages from the group chat, I'll just ask him there.

Brainful: Gives me a good amount of time to work on this buck Kat shot yesterday

I get off the phone and finish up, washing my hands. Then I start brushing out my hair, teeth, and wash my face with a wipe. Fortunately I'm definitely not as sensitive to water anymore, it still gets difficult though. I pull out my small makeup pallete, and smear some black over my eyelids. Finally I put on some chapstick then came out of the bathroom to see Katniss still sitting on our bed. She was staring at the wall, which was kinda fucking weird, no?
"Earth to brainless." I wave my hand infront of her face, she blinks slowly then looks at me.
"Sorry I'm kind of foggy." She yawns, then stands up and nudges her face into my neck.
The room smells of pot and i can tell she got into it while I was in the bathroom. I honestly didn't really care so I decided against calling it out. I know she would've been embarrassed. While she was standing there I ran a hand up her back, She always relxes when I do it.
"What do ya say I make you some breakfast, big ol baby." I tease her, she's gotta be starving right about now.
"Mmm. Sure." She hums, giving me a small kiss on the base of my neck, then pulls back.
I walk into the kitchen and grab a pan, throwing on some butter then cracking two eggs, these will be Katniss' eggs. Once those are finished I put them on bread. I get to thinking about what I would have done for an egg sandwich a few years back. As I put my own eggs on the pan, I feel a pair of hands on my hips, then a body being pressed against mine. Then a pair of hands running up the front of my body. I tensed up for a moment before relaxing into her touch. We need not exchange words, for the feeling of her hands may aswell be the words of God.
Once I finish cooking me and Katniss sit down and begin on our food. Her high ass scarfs down that sandwich like it was gonna be her last meal. Once breakfast was eaten I turn to her.
"You need anything before I go outside?" I ask Katniss roughly, grabbing her plate.
"Nah. I'll be busy" She replies, I decide that answer is perfect.
"Alrighty, I'll be out back if you need anything." I tell her, planting a kiss on her cheek. She nods and I put our plates in the sink, then get dressed and head out.

Time went by quickly, and I was a little bit less fuzzy. Johanna was outside tending to the buck I shot, it was about an hour before we were supposed to go visit Finnick and Annie. I had already checked the train times and it fortunatly lined up. Since we didnt have much time to get ready now, I went to tell Johanna that she should. I peek out back and see her cutting chunks from the buck.
"Babe?" I call, pet names are a newer thing for us, but she wanted to try it. Who am I to deny her?
"Hm?" She called from her work station.
"We only have 30 minutes to ger ready now," I inform.
Johanna quickly wraps up what she was doing to come inside, and begin getting ready to go. I put on something more presentable, and thats just about all I need to do. Once Johanna gets out of the bathroom I go inside, putting a smidge of makeup on— which is a habit at this point. I decide to re-braid my hair from yesterday, once that is completed I am ready to go.
"You ready, brainless?" Johanna asks me across the room.
"I am actually. Are you?" I tease her.
"Yeah." She replies, grabbing this lunch box that she keeps her marijuana in.
I walk over and take her hand as we leave. Me and Johanna honestly have never needed to need to share words. We walk through District 7 together, through the winding woods until we end up at the train station. We arrive just as our train does and I'm thankful. Me and her get onto the train and sit where we typically do. We don't talk very much on the ride there, I was simply resting on Johanna's shoulder. Soon enough we find the train stopping to let us off.
