Deux Moi
A couple tackles the topic of parenthood in the midst of the World Cup
By: Anonymous
I received a message from one of our subscribers telling me about the couple of the moment at this World Cup: Georgina and Ronaldo? Messi and Antonela? No, folks, the other big couple of the moment.
With Norway’s elimination, everyone expected things to fall apart, for all hell to break loose.
And indeed, that’s exactly what happened.
My source claims to have overheard this couple’s argument at the hotel where the winning team was staying. The fight was so intense that other players had to step in to break it up, as insults and blows were exchanged.
How true is this?
Let’s gather our evidence and analyze it.
First, we have the famous article that was taken down, by whom? The answer will surprise you.
Second, the impact of this article heightened tensions both during the match and off the field, so there’s a real reason why these people got into a fight at the hotel.
Third, the consequences of this fight are still being felt in the preparations for the next match.
And the answer?
Well, the person who deleted that article was a certain Brazilian player who has been living with this couple; apparently, he was the first to read it. He mentioned it to a certain French player -remember that Real Madrid’s “trinity” is embroiled in a battle of egos- and that player told a certain Norwegian player, who decided to take action. Predictable, I must say, but let’s get to the consequences: the famous battle in the hotel
Who hit whom?
Well, let’s get to the facts.
It was early in the morning when the players returned from the party; many of them having had a few drinks or accompanied by outsiders, when suddenly our protagonist came into view.
He was holding his son, visibly drunk, the famous “sugarlump,” in his arms; the boy was sleeping peacefully, and out of nowhere, this Norwegian player showed up to confront the situation.
Dramatization based on eyewitness accounts!
“You told me you’d read the article, have you? Can you tell me how all this happened?” the Norwegian pointed at the baby. “Is it true? What did you say that time…?”
“We won’t talk about this, and certainly not about that,” replied the Englishman, walking away.
But before he could leave, the Norwegian grabbed him by the wrist; the tension mounted, and the baby woke up amid the commotion.
“We haven’t talked about ‘this’ for years, and now, out of the blue, Vini tells me someone posted some nonsense related to the topic?”
“He’s an idiot. He hasn’t wanted to talk to me, and now he decides to tell you everything? The only thing left is for you to tell me that the other guy went and gossiped to you.”
Haaland grabs him by the shoulders, but he can’t stop the man from walking away and avoiding the situation. “When we talk about this, we decided…”
"I told you we weren’t going to talk about this here" he breaks free, turns around; he gets ready to leave when he’s stopped again by the Norwegian, who grabs him by the shoulders and turns him back around. Neither of them flinches; their gazes are fixed on each other.
“Is it true?” pleaded the player from Norway. “Did you really do it?”
“You’d have to be blind not to notice,” the other replied defiantly. “Yes, it’s true. I did it.”
The words slipped out of his mouth; he could do nothing but tremble. His emotions surged through him like a roller coaster. What would he say? What would he do? Even Jude seems stunned. Is this what he wanted to happen? That’s the question no one wants to voice aloud.
The baby isn’t distressed; he keeps his gaze fixed on his father, then tries to look beyond him, to the heart of the problem.
You might be wondering, where’s the fight in all this?
Well…
“You’re an idiot, Jude.”
The fight began -according to sources close to the situation- after these words were spoken. Apparently, several English players noticed the argument from a distance and joined the conversation, which was escalating after that tremendous revelation.
Rice and Saka are the ones trying to separate the couple, who are already hurling truths at each other and exchanging the occasional shove that fuels the fight.
Kane is trying to be the voice of reason.
No one is listening to reason; they’re letting their frustration get the best of them.
The chaos began to draw attention until Saka managed to get them into the room for more privacy, where the five of them. plus a baby, were discussing the situation. What could they have said?
No one knows.
And that’s what’s eating at us: did they smooth things over, or did the fight escalate?

Review: Jude Bellingham and James Corden Sing…
By: Liam-39
With all the recent rumors, it seems like this video has come along to pour gasoline on an already raging fire.
Let me explain.
If you told the Jude in the video that everything was about to descend into chaos, he wouldn’t believe you, but here we are, witnessing chaos unfold in real time.
So let’s get to the review.
The video offers an interesting glimpse into the sense of everyday life that comes through when we see our star’s daily routine. I love how Jude can seem so natural in front of the cameras and sing so badly (I’m not blind to his flaws). Among the interesting details from this moment, there’s one that caught my attention.
You see, at seven minutes and fifty-five seconds, Juddie mentions that he’s been given several nicknames throughout his life; when he lists his favorites, these are: Juddie -God winning as always- and Jun, which his brother gave him when he was little, a nickname that many of his close friends and family use to refer to him affectionately.
Later on, we have a special appearance by sugarlump -you can barely see his face- who joins him in the segment shown in the video.
And from the data we’ve gathered, we know:
That sugarlump is already starting to be more cooperative with his speech therapy, he even tries to sing during most of his sessions! Also, he loves teddy bears and animals. When James asked him if he wanted to be a soccer player like his dad, it cracked me up that he just replied that he wanted to take a nap and that he doesn’t like his classes.
I have a theory that the baby’s name has to be Spanish because when James asks Jude why he chose the name, he says he was influenced by his study of the Spanish language, so my theory that the baby’s name is Alfonso is looking more and more likely.
Juddie tells us that his son is so attached to him that he’s not surprised his friends call him “baby dictator” -oh my God, is this perhaps a sign of a marital reconciliation with Mbappé and Vini?- and when asked just how attached “sugarlump” can be, our star player mentions that once he cried all the way from the stadium bridge until the 90 minutes of play were over.
“I had to spend a lot of halftime breaks with a baby in my arms during my talk with the coach; I think the locker room got used to seeing me constantly running back and forth trying to calm him down, more than once, Ancelotti was even holding him while we were in the Champions League final.”
God, I need that photo or some fan art.
Anyway, let’s get back to the game because we have an update on what happened in the last match. Apparently, the reason Juddie hit that player was because he said derogatory things to his son, that makes sense! I would’ve stepped in to defend my little one too if someone spoke badly of him.
But yeah, it was sad to see Juddie looking so down. That photo of him seeking comfort in his son’s arms broke my heart into a thousand pieces. England deserved to win! His family comforted our player, and you could even see other players comforting their teammate, that’s why I insist: England deserved to win!
That image of sugarlump comforting his father really gets to me.
Oh, I feel like crying all over again.
Until next time.

Reflection: The Alleged Argument
I don’t usually pay much attention to tabloid stories; I feel they influence many people to bring out the worst in human nature.
When I read the article, I thought, “What nonsense! I don’t think that actually happened.”
But when it was confirmed by other sources, I was stunned.
That’s why I want to focus not on the fight itself but on the aftermath, that moment when they were ushered into the room.
I’m not close friends with either of them -though I wish I were- and if the rumors are true, I can’t say it’s a shame the way they were revealed; it’s as if they were forced to spill everything all at once!
I want to focus on the dramatization.
And I’m taking it with a grain of salt.
What’s the topic they didn’t talk about for years?
Let me explain.
There’s a widely circulated theory in the fandom of our beloved Jude, a theory, I want to emphasize again, about what happened during the rift in Dortmund with Haaland. This [theory] suggests there was an alleged argument about the professional image of these two players that involved a supposed relationship. The theory obviously gained traction with the emergence of “sugarlump” and was reignited when rumors began circulating that the two were seen in the locker room during City’s match against Real Madrid.
And months later, Jude is sidelined.
If it were true that they were a couple at some point during their careers in Dortmund, that would explain the reason for the argument; both rising soccer stars are in a relationship that could spell the end of their careers if it were discovered, but Jude decides to have a sugar baby despite what people might say, covering it up by having Ashlyn Castro serve as a stepmother to his son.
Besides, Haaland has a family.
But here’s my take on it.
I think the relationship between these two [Juddie and Haaland] was a youthful romance neither of them ever expected to happen: to fall so deeply in love with each other. Because of that, they found themselves caught between duty and love, and what they had simply became... a "we." That "we" was forever changed with the arrival of the baby.
That's why I think Jude never told him about the baby... or maybe he did, and they simply kept up the appearance of being nothing more than acquaintances so they could both remain part of the child's life, whether directly or indirectly.
And that brings us to the so-called injury.
I don't believe that was the only time they met away from the public facade of friendship. I think they found each other more than once because they knew they couldn't help it: they loved each other. They kept breaking the unspoken pact between them because they're human, and maybe that's the greatest curse of all. Sometimes the risks we take in the name of love outweigh the sense of duty we try so hard to hold on to.
That's all I've got.
Jun-jun commented: You seem to know a lot about... him. I'd say you're quite the fan, and an even better analyst.
