Chapter Text
It's truly ironic isn't it? That only after Wemmbu's death did he get the respect he deserved to his dignity.
After his death, the names around him changed, as the full story finally came to light.
And the years flew by, but it wasn't like a breeze. It was slow, painful, agonizing, for those who have lost someone precious to them.
His brothers and the people who were close to him, and other legends had been given enlightenment, who had ascended and became immortals. The second closest position to that of a god
And then a hundred years passed, with no sight of Wemmbu or his reincarnation. If he was even given one.
They would call it 'Divine Retribution' Punishment that was enabled by god.
But what if that was never the case?
And he was alive? But just in a deep sleep. And the people who knew, is currently waiting for him to awaken once more.
.
The influence of the underworld had been slowly spreading, throughout Unstable. Getting more and more known by each passing day.
Until the moment that they couldn't ignore it no more. The Underworld was now quite famous, but for the wrong reasons, they were ruthless, malevolent and the example, a paragon of evil.
No one can exactly remember when they started to appear or when they started their influence in the main server and throughout Unstable as a whole. But they know.
After Wemmbu's death, the rise and fall of the second king of Unstable. The downfall of the caves, and the destruction of even more civilizations, did they start to slowly creep in, into the picture. Slow and deliberate, they didn't want to make their mark just yet, but then the event happened.
And it became an annual one, each year. Monsters, species of the underworld would rapidly increase in the main server, some with no minds, and some who knows what they are doing, the most ruthless time of each year, and the one where players are most terrified of.
But that same particular annual event, did an important key figure awaken.
And it happened to be a certain well known man.
A second chance.
.
In a dense forest where no man in their right mind even dare approach. Where predators of any kind, hazards and risks laying in the foundation of the forest. Eerie silence and an uncanny noise following by, it was a place that just rings alarm bells in the minds of players.
Yet deep inside that same forest, stood an abandoned church in the middle of an absolute death wish terrain, with possible monsters lurking in the darkness.
For the first in ages it would be used at the dead of night. But not for the reason of prayer or ritual, but a priest stands in middle of the inside, of that old run down church.
A prayerful stance, one that could trick one into thinking it was a devoted follower of the heavens. But there was something much more deeper then anyone could imagine.
"Are you ready Wem?" Another voice, accompanying the priest. Was beside an ancient looking piano, sitting down preparing for a play.
"Well are you ready?"
The other could only smirk at that question. As he started playing, it was out of tune, atrocious and definitely something that had aged over through the years, and supposedly impossible to play, but his companion always finds ways to make things work.
Wemmbu.
Now he could sense something, it had been days, but now he could have his own way of 'fun'. Monsters, or Shadow voidlings you can say, born straight from the depths of the underworld.
But first things first...
How did he... Get here?
Wemmbu knew nothing, he didn't know how to speak, how to walk, how to even stand, that was the start thougy.
He was like a helpless child at first, he recalls waking up in a coffin, deep inside a volcano. Quite diabolical start in his journey, plus he was diagnosed with amnesia, absolutely recalling nothing from his past. What was his identity? Who was he? How did he get here?
The last thing he could recount was pain, specifically around his chest area. But that was it, and soon afterwards he would regain tiny bits and pieces of his memories, but it was just tiny fragments and not the full picture, which he dislikes most.
But that was not even one difficulty of his. He had much more bigger fish to fry, one example was relearning the basics, and having to be retaught how to read and write.
And before he forgets to mention, a man named Mrcube and a few others were the ones that helped him relearn these things, like parents you can say.
Basically Mrcube and those few others were generously paid by someone to look after him. And after Wemmbu found out, he really is trying his hardest to figure out who the heck is that said someone, but he now calls them guardians, but don't worry he still thinks its a foreign word to him to call them that.
Pretty much he got help and assistance which he was grateful for, and that he wouldn't struggle as much. But he still had many things to learn and to be patiently retaught, and he had gotten interested in combat in the first year he had waken up.
At first those 'guardians' of his were pretty opposed of the idea. And rejected his offer for combat training almost an astonishingly high amount of times, but due to Wemmbu's constant persistence, they finally gave in.
And that was how Wemmbu could tell, that he finally found a purpose in his existence.
Fighting.
It was not foreign nor it was too familiar but he could feel it. There was a connection, and that connection led to him hunting the monsters that were invading the main server.
And that was also opposed too, but one of his guardians Squiddo. Had managed to persuade the others into also giving in.
Definitely something he is thankful for, and now that connection was more achievable, getting his memories back was his main goal, and he hopes that this connection could lead to exactly what he wanted.
