OH MY GOD. First of all, this fic is probably going to slow down, my first few chapters were posted in a haze of Spider-Fan mania, and now I'm going back and I can't even read my own writing. So I'm going to edit the crap out of my existing stuff, then add new stuff once a week. Sundays, probably.
Second, I just had a glorious angst idea. Ned and MJ are from pre-NWH. They don't know why Peter's acting cagey but clingy, they don't know what's going on with their now-grown up best friend, and it just has so much angst potential.
Third, the general consensus I've gotten is that we wouldn't mind Deadpool showing up. I am planning on him dropping in randomly, not really staying as a permanent reactor. I have also been asked about DD and the rest of the Defenders, only issue I have with that is that I don't really know any of those characters very well. Part of the reason I love Spider-Man so much is because while he does have serious, sadder moments, he is an overall very positive character. The Defenders shows have felt like Spider-Man without the positivity like to me, and so they're harder for me to watch.
Fourth, I CAN'T FIND THE REACTION FIC I TALKED ABOUT IN A COMMENT UNDER CH 1!!! I'm going to search in my history next, but man I am stuggling with that.
Fifth, I am looking for a beta reader! I would prefer if you know the difference between they're, their, and there, but I'm mostly going for someone to tell me about how the characters are coming across, if the writing feels too bare-bones, etc. I am also looking for someone willing to turn the revamped fic into a podfic, because my one of my two friends is dyslexic and I would love to make this more accessible to her. I got her to watch BND with me, and we were talking about fics, and she told me that if she ever wrote one, she would send it to me. I'd like to do the same for her.
Last thing, I currently have four characters based off of you! Six more slots are available, and they will all be added from the beginning in the revamped version. Add them under this chapter by 8/10 to have them included!
