[EARTH POV:]
"You are all dismissed!" *The sun said cheerfully. Luna tugged the earth's sleeve, beckoning her to go back to her orbit. She gave a tired smile.*
"I'd like to get down now, Sun." *She looked up at him, squinting her eyes due to the bright light.*
"Yes, of course! How could I forget." *She placed the duo carefully on the floor, though Luna landed on their back instead of their... well... feet? They grumbled. Earth helped them up.*
"You alright Luna?" *She extended her hand out to them, which they quickly took.*
"Yeah... Just tired. I'm glad this is all over." *They smiled.*
*Sun looked down to find the rest of the planets still in the inner solar system.* "Uhm. You all are excused?"
*Jupiter stood his ground.* "Actually I think it's time we all talk. We have a lot to talk about."
*The Earth swallowed a hard lump in her throat.*
*Every planet (and Luna) gathered in the Earth's orbit, confusing the moons, but the sun shooed them away quickly.*
"So uhm... What do we need to-" *The Earth started, before Jupiter spoke.*
"I think we all have something to apologize for. Or to at least say now. Before... Ya know we feel guilty." *He said, his accent slightly heavier.*
"I'll start, shall I? I'm sorry for uh. I guess if I ever made you feel like you're not special Earth, by talking about how other planets exist like you. Of course, they still do, but life isn't what makes you special! Well, shoot it does make you special but-"
"Geez, we get the point." *Venus interrupted, grumbling.*
*Mercury laughed at this.*
"Whats funny pipsqueak?!"
"NOTHING-!"
*Luna spoke next.* "Well, Earth, I'm sorry for leaving you when you were at your lowest. I should've known better than anyone."
*Earth placed an arm around Luna.* "It's fine big brother!"
"Big brother???" *Mercury questioned, alongside confusion from the other planets.*
"Well yeah, Luna woke up first! Remember?" *She smiled.*
*A wave of remembrance hit them all. A ripple of "Oh"'s came from most of them.*
"Okay, well I apologize for the same thing as Luna... Yeah it was my bad to leave you." *Mars said bashfully.*
*Earth smiled.* "It's not your fault. I wasn't the best friend either..."
*The two stared at each other before the conversation moved on.*
"I guess, I'm kinda sorry for calling you a pipsqueak." *Venus murmured to Mercury.*
"Wow, never thought I'd see the day." *Mercury grinned.*
*Venus glared at him, shutting him up.* "Point taken..."
"I'd like to apologize for being so.. controlling? I just want to protect you all." *The sun messed with his fingers nervously.*
"We forgive you, Sun." *Mercury piped up.*
"Just quit solar flaring us, OKAY?!" *Venus shouted. Despite his condition, he was doing a hell of a lot of talking.*
"No promises!" *The sun grinned.*
"Well uh, I'd like to apologize for well..." *The Earth was about to say something, before the Sun stopped her.*
"You don't have to apologize after you nearly lost your life! And all that you went through when you were alone... You should be the last person sorry." *The sun smiled.*
"Oh-! Well uh, thanks dad." *She looked back forward to confused expressions from everyone.* "What? He's our dad, isn't he?"
*Everyone glanced around. Sun smirked.* "Hell yeah I am! And I'm the best dad in the milky way." *He grinned.*
"Jeez, you sound like the Earth right now."
"HEY!" *The Sun and Earth yelled in unison.*
"Well, anyway, I don't see the Sun as my 'dad'. That would just . . . complicate mine and Jupiter's marriage." *Saturn piped up to clarify, though he received no response. He fidgeted with the ring on his finger. Jupiter simply nodded along.*
*Luna wrapped their arms around the Earth.*
"You're squeezing me, Luna." *She coughed.*
"Don't care!" *Luna hugged the Earth tighter.*
"Awh, give me a hug you guys!!" *Mercury shouted, jumping into the hug, shortly joined by Mars. Venus just wrapped one arm around the group and looked away.*
"Wow, Venus the softie." *Mars grinned.*
"SHUT UP AND ACCEPT THIS!"
"GROUP HUG!!!" *Neptune squealed, grabbing the group in his hands despite their protests. Uranus hugged Neptune.*
"This is nice." *They smiled.*
*Saturn and Jupiter joined too, shortly after. The Sun grinned. They all realized what was gonna happen.*
"No no no..."
"Sun!"
"DONT."
"AWWWHHH BRING IT IN!!!" *He squealed grabbing them all in his arms and hugging them. There were sounds of protest from Mercury, Venus and even Uranus. The sun was quite literally melting them all, but surprisingly, the Earth didn't mind.*
"We love you too, dad." *She whispered.*
