Chapter Text
While Scott and the champion of Tyche walked at a leisurely pace, the cute one (,not the one with a beard,) ran ahead. Which was foolish considering he had been complaining about having no food only seconds ago. When Scott and the other had caught up, they were met with three more newcomers. They introduced themselves, but their names didn't matter to Scott, they all seemed the same. Eager at the possibility of a second chance at life. Soon their eagerness will get ahead of them and cause them to become sloppy. But Scott was getting ahead of himself. He would wait. He was patient enough. While they talked Scott headed toward the mountain, Mount Olympus he assumed. He was done with the conversation anyways. The tall boy with coffee brown hair followed him, attempting to strike up a conversation. Scott asks him his name ( as any person with manners would do, even if he probally wouldn't try to remember it), shares his and leaves. He meets up with the (buff) champion of, who he can only assume is, Zeus. Finally everyone is gathered infront of the huge mountain. "Give me a moment, please," the boy with coffee hair states. A bird screeching is heard in the distance, causing everyone's nerves to sky rocket. The group looksed up expecting to see some kind of gaint bird, but see nothing. The blond one with sticks in his hair immediately turns on him accusing him of trying to attack them. The boy seems to snap out of whatever trance he was in, and explains that there's a temple at the top of the mountain. This immediately raises some red flags; since, clearly he shouldn't be able to see anything if the rest of them couldn't. And Scott could tell you, you couldn't. He gifts the buff one a sheild, hoping this will land him in favor of the man. But he seems not to care much for it. Instead, poking a joke at the blond man with them, about punching things to him. The two continue to joke as Scott leaves, making his way up the mountain to try and do something productive instead. Lighting strikes the others left on the ground besides Scott and the blond one. (He really needs to find a new way to differentiate the champions.) They started to follow where Scott suspected the lightning had dropped them back off. They stumble (the blonde one, not Scott. Scott doesn't ever stumble,) upon a vey happy Zeus boy and the rest of their very marry gang. The group gets conformation from the champion that he his the champion of Zeus. "He recongnized greatness," the champion exclaims. The comment caused Scott to smirk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ They find a crew of four more champions. The one with feathers tries to insist every one can be winners we she gets cut of by a darkness that starts crowding everyone's vision. Then a voice is heard through the darkness. "That's right you're all losers until there's one winner," the voice challenges. Not a great first introduction if Scott had anything to say about it, but he did have to give points for being dramatic he supposed. The body the voice belonged to appeared in the center of the two groups. The person really did embody they darkness with all the dull and dark colors. The voice reminded Scott of someone and he couldn't place who. And he would remember seeing someone wear something like that. He decides if he didn't remeber it probably wasn't important enough. The girl with the brown hair in a braid walked up and started chatting with Scott. She recognized Scott from back when he had been acting (and alive). As they walk they enchounter a man ( his name was Owain? Or Owenge? Somthing like that). He claimed he could see the future. While talking with the girl and Scott he seemed to be telling the truth. Scott prayed he wouldn't cause any problems he really didn't want to..... deal with him. When defeating tge creatures of the night ime also seemedto slow around him. So he is connected to time, Scott deducts. The lady with feathers revealed she was the champion of dreams, meaning Morpheus. Scott decided revealing his God shouldn't expose him. Not that he had secrets. That they knew of. He chose that then was a great time to show them what he could do. So he blinded them. Ok, that makes it sound worse than it was (a bit dramatic even fir his taste), and it was only temporary anyway. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ An ominous bell rang tgrough the world, signifying a blessing from Artemis. Scott gifted some wind charges to the orange man and the feathered lady handed out lotus flowers. Long stoty short they simulate the feeling of being high. Anyway, the champion of Artemis claimed he deserved the blessing since it was from is god. This seemed to ruffle some feathers especially with the champion if the night. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Did I see you turn into a goat?" "I don't know. Maybe. How are your eyes these days?" The first voice chuckles. "Quiet good." "Quiet good," the other voice repeats. "Were you going to push him off the mountain?" "You?" "No, no, the nobody." "I pushed out of the circle that was about it. Then I pushed the dark one out of the circle. Why? Does it matter?" "No! No! No! I'm interested in watching." "Why? What is it you're interested in watching? Are you interested in showing?" "Sure..." "How bad is it? I'm not a fighter. Until- unless I have too." "No. No, I saw yours. Here, tell you what. You want to come for a little ride?" "Sure." Mortal are quite strange, a new voice concludes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
