Rin, your father and I decided that for the last day of your break, you and your brother should go spend some alone time together.
You could maybe call that new friend you made in Blue Lock if you don't want to be alone with Sae.
Your dad and I need to go to one of his urgent work meetings, which is quite far. So we won't be back for the day.
Have fun, my darling. ♡

Rin's message was left on seen by his mother. It was now the last day of his break before he had to return to Blue Lock to continue training. He gripped his phone harder. Spend time with his family, specifically his brother? He had far better things to do. But a hidden part of him secretly begged himself to start getting ready for whatever he's going to be doing with Sae.
He let out a big sigh.
If he was being honest, he had not properly spent time with anyone in.. a few years. Dedicating himself to football was everything in life, other than eating popsicles and occasionally exploring the already familiar neighborhood with his Nii-chan. Until that day. He not only started distancing himself from his family, which unfortunately failed due to his parents being able to bring out the cuter side of him (what his mom said), but also from his classmates and any other person.
In Blue Lock and the world of football, he was number one. The one that didn't need anybody else, the one who was able to go solo through everything, and the one who was the best. He never talked to others, unless it was necessary. And even then, he always started and ended the conversation with a glare, a scowl and a rude murmur. So, why was he asking Nagi Seishirou, out of everyone, to accompany him during the outing between him and his older brother?
Rin silently cursed at his past self for ever talking and even getting together with this white slug, although he didn't really mind Seishirou's presence if he was being honest.

Come with me to meet up with my brother
The boy put his phone down and rubbed his temples. He was sat on his bed, which he had just tidied, alone in his room. His knee, very surprisingly, started bouncing, which shook the mattress a bit. Rin did not feel nervous. He doesn't feel.. nervous. He could never be nervous for such a stupid matter. It's just the excessive training he had done the night before. He was Rin, the Rin that doesn't care about insignificant things in life. He was just.. sick of waiting for Nagi's reply, because the boy usually slept in late.
He looked at the contact name when he unlocked his phone again, reading it several times. Until finally, he tapped on the 'Change contact name' button. N-a-g-i. He typed in. Saved. He didn't like corny couple names. The whitehead should be grateful he even saved his contact name as his actual name, instead of the one from before.

'Dummy,' Rin muttered in his head.
Sae had woken up an hour after Rin did, specifically at around half seven. He first got up to stretch, went to the bathroom, brushed his teeth, showered and when he finally got out, he took a look at his phone.

Reacted Thumbs Up to Mom's message
Friend, huh? The midfielder stared at his mother's text. Did he even consider any of his friends that his mom knows of, friends? They were all nothing but useless teammates he had. Especially the U20 members. Except one, who wasn't really a part of the under twenty team. God, he only ever took part just so that he'd be able to see what Rin could do, if he wasn't lying. And really, Rin improved. A lot. Sae could say he was proud, he'd just never admit it in front of Rin. It's embarrassing.
And what was he supposed to do with Rin, anyway? He wasn't one to know where to go and what to do when going out with others. Well, maybe when he and Rin were still young, he was definitely the one choosing everything. Making sure Rin would enjoy whatever that he picked, that was his specialty, after all. But ever since the two brothers started talking less and less, Sae can admit, he doesn't quite understand what hobbies Rin had, what he liked doing out of football, and if he had made any new friends. Sae knows most people wouldn't talk to Rin just because of his blunt and sharp remarks, though.
Did Rin, ever feel lonely..?
Sae blinked.
He secretly hoped that Rin was doing well, even without him in his life. After all, he was the one who said it himself.
The older Itoshi's eyes were still stuck on the dark screen of the phone. He then unlocked it, and went back to the messaging app.

Let me think, maybe the beach? It's been pretty long since both of you went there. ♡

Okay, mom.
Sae thanked his mom for the immediate reply, because he really didn't know what to do. At least his mother was there to help him with these trivial matters when he needed it. His mom would often talk to him about everything, making sure he's okay, and that it's fine to come ask for help whenever he needed, even though he didn't really talk about his feelings sometimes. His dad was more of a listener, but he was still there nonetheless. He was grateful for his parents.
The maroon haired boy set his phone down, and started drying his hair using a towel. The older brother slowly got lost in his own thoughts as he walked in circles in his large bedroom. Sae started noting down things he'd have to bring for the day trip, how he's going to manage it as he's the oldest, thinking about who else to bring and wondering if Rin would even agree, and lastly, talking to Rin himself about what to do.
He walked toward his closet to get a pair of clothes, ones that weren't too shabby. He wore a clean white T-shirt that was loose, along with dark denim jeans that were slightly baggy adorned with a black belt, his usual bracelets and a simple wrist watch. The boy then did his hair, replicating his regular hairstyle. Dark red hair, bangs slicked upwards with a few strands falling over his forehead.
He grabbed an already packed paper bag of bread for a quick breakfast and started to rummage through his closet.
Then, he took out a bag that wasn't too big, and also not too small for him to not even fit in basic necessities. He held the dark item and stood there silently. He decided to tell Rin to get ready instead of packing stuff for himself first.
Sae walked out of his bedroom and marched toward Rin's room, which was once his and Rin's shared bedroom, and knocked.
"What do you want?" the teen in the room answered.
"Get ready, Rin. We're going to the beach," Sae monotonically said.
"Fuck off."
The older sibling sighed. His stubborn little brother. God.
He didn't care what Rin said, well maybe he did, but he knew that Rin would do what he told him to anyway. He just.. knew.
He walked away from the door, then went back to his own new room to bring some items for the day trip. Extra clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and some random things he thought he might need, along with his wallet (with credit cards that were practically blinking and shining at him to spend some money). Sae decided to only bring one card because he didn’t want to get robbed.
The redhead grabbed his phone, which had a dark brown phone case that his dad gave him for his last birthday, and unlocked it. His fingers instinctively tapped onto a messaging app, then a newly made contact nicknamed 'Demon'. He hesitated. He wasn't sure if it would be a great idea, considering the fact that the same person who was in his contact list jump kicked his little brother.
Sae still pressed on the contact anyway.

He cringed at his phone. Sae placed his phone inside his left pocket, then carried his bag outside of his room. "Rin, I'm leaving. Meet me at the station near that one cafe," he said loud enough for his younger brother to hear without even bothering to knock. “Be there at nine thirty. Don’t be late,” he added. Rin replied with an almost inaudible grumble. Sae walked down the stairs leading to the first floor of his house, grabbed his car keys, put on his slippers and finally left through the front door. He was going to drive to the spot he asked Ryuusei to come to.
Seishirou groggily forced himself up and let out a big yawn. He scratched his head, still half asleep with one of his eyes closed. The first thing he did after waking up was to grab his phone which was charging next to his bed. He lazily pulled the phone up by its cable, and checked his notifications.
Ever since getting together with Rin, Seishirou has been waking up earlier than usual. He had started gaining some of Rin's habits, although he isn't really sure if he could say that. The earliest he could get up was around nine, but luckily, he woke up at ten past eight today. Back to the point, he first checked for any notifications from his.. boyfriend. And there it was.
'Come with me to meet up with my brother'
Nagi blinked. Rin had never really invited him to outings, and neither did he. Only when he really missed Rin. And that was.. basically every day, but he'd rather lay in bed all day than go out. So he'd only ever hang out with Rin just a few times. This time, though, Rin was the one asking him to come. Seishirou typed on his phone.

He waited for a reply, but unsurprisingly, didn't get a single one. Seishirou stayed slumped on his bed, before sitting up to stretch his arms. His hair was a mess, a section of it practically flying, and the ones at the front being flat just obviously meant that he slept on his stomach. He sat for a few minutes before finally getting up and dragging himself to the bathroom in order to shower.
After a session of bathing, the tall boy finally came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. His white hair dripped, leaving droplets of water on the floor along his path. He checked his phone once again.

Seishirou was about to put his phone down, but then another message from Rin popped up.
'Bring extra clothes, idiot
We're going to the beach'
Huh. The beach. Seishirou thought of the burning temperature, kids screaming and running everywhere, birds attempting to steal your food and random people staring at him. Oh well.. At least, Rin would be there.
He sighed.
Seishirou typed back a 'k' before finally putting his phone down and getting a set of clothes. He wore dark shorts that were both meant for swimming and for comfort, a baggy black t-shirt, and a thin long-sleeved swimwear shirt underneath, because he didn't want half his arm to be tan and the other half to be as pale as paper.
He then grabbed his black bag which was carelessly left on the floor of his room. Seishirou thought about what to bring. His phone, obviously, his earphones, a battery bank just in case his phone or Rin's was low on battery, and jello from his fridge. He hesitated, then put in another pack of jello. He was also debating on bringing sunscreen, but then found out the bottle was already empty. Lastly, he added a pair of comfortable clothes, consisting of a white t-shirt and loose black pants. Basic, he knows.
The white haired boy shoved all the mentioned items into his bag and quickly zipped it up. He jogged to the front door of his apartment, and bent down to grab his footwear. He was about to grab his usual shoes, but then suddenly remembered the time Reo took him to swim and he brought those same shoes to the occasion. It ended very badly. So instead, he just put on his black slides. Perfect for summer.
He left the small apartment, intending to meet Rin.
Strands of hair that were usually black shone a beautiful dark green under the rays of the sunlight. The dark haired boy stood in front of the window of the cafe that didn’t match his regular style at all. He wore a clean white short sleeved shirt, a small brown owl imprinted onto the shirt’s pocket on his chest, along with dull jeans that perfectly clashed with the white on top. He was also wearing black boots, which definitely did not fit the weather at all.
Rin had his bag slinged over his shoulder, in which he put his items he needed for the occasion. Extra clothes, slippers, and his other necessary things.
He was scrolling on his phone when he heard footsteps behind him. The younger boy put his phone in his pocket, and turned around to face the person that was behind him.
Messy white hair came into view. The older boy, Seishirou, softly panted. He seemed to be tired from just walking. Rin scoffed, then inspected his outfit. The taller boy wore a black shirt, with swimwear underneath, and black shorts to go along with it. He also had his backpack with him.
Rin scoffed once again.
This idiot was readier than he was. Did he enjoy going to the beach or something?
But this was the first time he had seen Seishirou wear full black. He stared a little longer, then brushed it aside.
It was now nine. Rin did not have breakfast yet, because of the fact that he was sulking on his bed for no specific reason at all. Well, maybe it was because his brother talked to him as if nothing happened. He’s stupid.
He gritted his teeth, and gave Nagi an annoyed glare.
The white haired boy was already looking into the shop from the large windows. He had both hands pressed against the glass, along with his face, causing his cheeks to get flattened. From there, he was able to see the hundreds of desserts and snacks laid out on the counter.
Rin tensed. Guess Seishirou had the same idea as he did.
“I’m going to get something. You do whatever you want, just wait for me. Or come.” the shorter boy muttered.
He pushed open the door to the cafe. The sound of the small bell attached to the door could be heard, along with slow and heavy footsteps behind Rin. He narrowed his eyes.
They both walked up to the counter. Sharp teal eyes met soft black doe eyes. He stood face-to-face with the girl behind the worktop. She greeted both boys with a polite smile.
“Good morning! What can I get you both?”
Rin glanced towards the multiple cakes and bread that were displayed. That was until, his eyes unexpectedly landed on a small chocolate lava cake. He could suddenly feel himself drooling, but covered his mouth and faked a cough. He really hadn’t had sweet things in a while.
As he was about to tell the cashier girl his order, Seishirou beat him to it.
“One cheesecake, please. And also lemon tea.”
Rin grimaced. The fuck kind of pairing was that? Cheesecake and lemon tea definitely was not a good combo at all.
He sighed, “The chocolate cake, please.”
“Okay, is that all?..”
“Yes.”
“A-alright!! That’ll be ¥1200 in total. ¥500 for the chocolate, ¥400 for the cheesecake and ¥300 for the lemon tea.”
He reached for his wallet, when Seishirou suddenly pulled out a card then said, “I’ll be paying for the cheesecake and the lemon tea. By card,” handing the girl the item. The cashier gently nodded and took the card, typing in something on the small computer on the counter and doing the usual procedure for payment by card.
Grey eyes, which were practically telling Rin that he didn’t have to pay for both of them and that Seishirou would pay for his own order, landed on cyan eyes. Rin frowned. He wanted to roll his eyes at him. That look on Seishirou’s face was dumb. As if he’d even thought about paying for Seishirou’s order.
He turned towards the black haired girl, and handed her the right amount of money. He could feel a soft tug on his shirt, which he chose to ignore.
The dark haired boy was about to walk away when, “Um.. Is it okay if I take a picture with you? I’m a really big fan of you, Rin-san..!” the girl nervously managed to mutter loud enough for him to hear. She then pulled out her phone.
“Uh. Okay..” he hesitantly answered. It’s not that he didn’t want to take a picture with the girl, he was just a little surprised that she actually asked because most of the time, people often just pretend to ignore him or act like they don’t know him. Fans would often talk about being scared to talk to him, not because of his mean demeanor, but because they find him attractive.
Being stared at is really not an uncommon occurrence, as he was a newly famous striker in Japanese football. What was rare was fans coming up to him to tell him they were happy to meet him, or even asking for a picture which this girl was doing right now.
He leaned towards the counter so that he could be in the selfie that the girl was taking. He could also obviously see that her finger which was trying to tap the camera button was visibly shaking. After that was done, she flashed a wide smile at Rin and thanked him, before her eyes landed on Nagi.
“O-oh.. Since you both are here, may I take a picture of you guys? I f-feel really excited meeting both of you!! And if it’s fine with you, can I also post it??..” she enthusiastically blurted out, already adjusting her phone to take a photo.
“Okay,” Seishirou replied before putting his arm around Rin’s shoulder and pulling him closer so that they’d be in the frame. The girl happily snapped pictures of her favourite footballer and his teammate.
After they were done, she repeatedly thanked them for letting her get pictures, too much to the point that Rin had to tell her she could stop saying thank you for the twelfth time. She didn’t forget to give them their orders as well, which Rin was thankful for.
When they finally walked out of the shop, with Seishirou sipping on his tea and Rin telling him to sit down and eat properly somewhere, it was already twenty past nine o’clock. He pouted. The station was pretty near so it wouldn’t take long, but Sae didn’t like it when people were late.
Rin still plopped down next to Seishirou who was sitting on the curb of the road, munching on his cheesecake with no care in the world. He took out his own neatly packed chocolate cake before eating it.
He was chewing peacefully when he suddenly heard the sound of a picture getting taken. Teal eyes narrowed towards the culprit, who was still holding up his phone at Rin. Seishirou did not react to getting caught.
“The fuck are you doing? Delete that.”
Rin tried grabbing the phone, and failed, because Nagi swiftly shoved his phone in his shorts.
“Your cheeks always get puffed up whenever you eat, like a squirrel,” Seishirou casually stated.
“What are you saying? Just delete whatever you took of me,” Rin scowled at him.
“Don’t worry, Rin. I won’t send it to anybody else.”
“I don’t care-! And what the hell were you doing when that girl asked for a photo? You didn’t have to do any of that,” he muttered, practically scolding Seishirou.
“It just.. came to me. Sorry, Rin,” he apologized.
Rin stiffened because of the sudden apology. He clicked his tongue, as he was about to tell him to shut up-
“I won’t do it again… Rin…” Seishirou whined. Out of character much. The younger boy smacked the older boy in the head. Seishirou let out a quiet Ow before staring at Rin, silently asking him why he hit him. Rin glared back.
“Whatever.”
He got up to throw the plastic packaging of the cake he had just eaten, then grabbed tissue from his bag which he wiped his mouth with.
“What do you even have tissues for?” Seishirou asked as he brushed off non-existent dust from his shirt after he threw the crumbled plastic in the trash bin.
“To stay clean. I don’t want to walk around looking like a kid that just had chocolate,” Rin replied as he started walking away.
Seishirou nodded in agreement, acting as if he’d ever brought tissues at all for any type of outing. He took his lemon tea, then caught up to Rin and walked alongside him.
“Walk faster.”
“ ‘Kay.”
The two young strikers jogged towards their destination
Sae sat in the driver seat of his black car, waiting for his significant other to come to him. He waited in front of Ryuusei’s apartment building, looking into the main lobby from the large glass doors.
He took out his phone to check the time.
9:02 a.m.
He had been waiting for Ryuusei since eight forty-five. What was he doing that’s taking him so long? The midfielder sighed, then looked back at the lobby. He spotted blonde hair with pink tips. Said person with blonde hair also spotted him, and waved.
Ryuusei was wearing a black tank top, black bootcut jeans with pink embroidery, and one of Sae’s dark grey jackets wrapped around his waist. The man had a silver necklace and a choker as well, along with his dark earrings and multiple rings on his fingers. He wore dark leather combat boots which contributed to his already tall height. The blonde had his hot pink bag, which was decorated with a few keychains.
The tanned striker walked towards the other side of Sae’s car, and got in. The first thing he did was attempt to give the Itoshi a peck on the cheek, which unfortunately failed due to Sae using his hand to block Shidou’s face.
“Sae-chan, you’re such an icy prince,” Ryuusei purred.
“Enough.”
“But I haven’t even done anything.”
“Hm.”
Sae didn’t stop Ryuusei from placing his long arm around his neck so that he’d be able to give him a short smooch.
After Sae had texted Ryuusei beforehand, the tanned man had called him over the phone because ‘he missed Sae’ but all the redhead said was to pack extra clothes as they were going to the beach and hung up with a short and blunt goodbye.
“Mm, I even put my hair down for this. You think I look good?” the blonde asked, still slightly lifted up from his seat with his arms wrapped around Sae.
“What do you think?” Sae answered abruptly, pushing Ryuusei off so that he could breathe properly.
“You really do like me, huh? Anyway, I brought an extra outfit as well. Are we going now or what, Sae-chan?” Ryuusei talked as he twirled his hair with his finger.
The maroon haired boy briefly nodded and started the car, intending to drive to their destination. As they drove, the lovers had their usual morning conversation, with Ryuusei asking Sae if he already had breakfast, and if he hadn’t, they could stop by at a convenience store or cafe. And Sae asking Ryuusei if he had gotten new eyeliner, because the one Shidou had on right now was definitely much darker than the one he often used. The striker chuckled, satisfied about the fact that his boyfriend was able to notice, and answering that he specifically used new waterproof eyeliner.
They drove off onto the familiar streets of the neighborhood, until the tanned blonde asked Sae to stop for a second. He pointed at a shop, which had surfboards, floaties, small buckets and many other things meant for the beach displayed.
“Saee.. Let’s get matching floats? Hmm?”
“No. What do you even need floats for? Can’t you swim?”
“Why not?! It’s fun, you can get the red one and I’ll get the pink one!”
“It’s childish."
“Even adults use floaties, Sae-chan.”
“Then they’re all lukewarm.”
Ryuusei still managed to drag Sae out of his car towards the store anyway. Both boys walked into the summer festive themed shop. Bright neon colors blinded Sae. There were lots of items that had luminous shades of pink, blue, yellow, and all sorts of colors.
Sae felt like he was in the land of unicorns, or some bullshit. He sighed, and looked around only to see his boyfriend inspecting random things he could find on the shelves. His pink ends matching the color of the rosy hot pink towel hanging next to his head. Something that he’d definitely use. Sae thought.
Next to the same pink towel was a similar one, but black, with a small white line embroidered across it. Something Sae would use. Coincidence.
As he was busy observing the two cloths, Ryuusei turned around holding a pair of sunglasses. They had a cheetah print, along with two tiny little shiny fake gems on each side of the glasses’ rim. He waved it around, looking at it one more time before saying-
“I think I’ll get this one. I like it.”
“Don’t you already have another pair?”
“Well, it’s a different shape. And I’m willing to buy duplicates,” Ryuusei proudly stated.
“That’s not something to be proud of,” Sae plainly replied.
Ryuusei gave Sae a fake crying motion, softly letting out a whine. Before walking away to the counter to buy the item. Sae followed. There was a man at the counter. Ryuusei placed down the glasses onto the worktop and asked the cashier how much it was.
“Price?”
“...
¥1750.”
“Alright, wait. Let me get my wallet. It’s in my bag somewhere.”
He searched for his wallet in his already messy bag, the keychains on it dangled and made loud clinks. Before he was able to find what he was looking for, Sae interrupted.
“Let me.”
“Hm?” Ryuusei hummed in confusion.
Sae placed down a ¥1000 bank note, along with four coins, one ¥500, two ¥100s, and one ¥50. Ryuusei did not even notice when Sae had taken out his wallet, nor did he notice Sae taking out the money. He paused, lost in his thoughts, before finally flashing a grin at his midfielder.
They watched the cashier pack the item in a small white plastic bag, then it was handed to Ryuusei.
As they both walk out through the door, Ryuusei slowly wrapped his fingers around Sae’s hand.
“Thanks, Sae-chan.”
“...”
The blonde let out a happy giggle, before pulling Sae towards the black car so that they could continue their journey. They both got into the vehicle and the first thing Sae did was check the time.
9:22 a.m.
Sae estimated that they’d be there on time, so he immediately started driving. Ryuusei took out his newly bought accessory, pulled down the car mirror so that he could put it on. He placed it on his head instead of wearing it properly.
Sae skeptically glanced over at Shidou.
“If you’re just going to do that, why even bother buying it?”
“I don’t want my eyeliner that I worked hard on to be hidden.. Plus, it looks good anyway.”
“Hm.”
“And I technically didn’t buy it. You paid for it, Sae-chan~”
Sae did not reply to that. Ryuusei laughed.
The sound of the car motor could be heard as Sae drove a little faster.
-
Seishirou and Rin finally arrived at the station, both panting. Seishirou bent over, hands on his knees, heaving, while still somehow holding his empty lemon tea cup. Rin had dragged Seishirou and practically ran to their destination. To their (only Rin’s) surprise, Sae had not even arrived yet. And it was already two minutes past nine thirty. Rin frowned.
“Rin, what did we even run for? Your brother isn’t even here yet… So tiring…” Seishirou complained.
“You’re acting like you’re gonna die. How do you even play football like this?”
“I am… Rin, here I am. Nagi of the dead.” Seishirou muttered as he started leaning onto Rin’s side, his heavy weight pressing onto the equally heavy weight of Rin.
“Tch, stop being so tepid,” Rin replied as he harshly nudged Seishirou with his elbow, and in response, the white bear let out a soft ouch. He did not budge from his position, though.
The dark haired boy pulled his phone out of his pocket, feeling awkward and not knowing what to do with Nagi choosing him as a resting place. He mindlessly swiped through his apps, constantly exiting and opening random things he saw. Rin’s brows furrowed.
He pushed away the boy attempting to now lay on him, and said “Go sit on the stairs or something.”
Seishirou let out a small noise of disagreement, but followed his orders. He threw away the plastic tea bottle. Then, he sat on one of the steps leading to the actual station, half-leaning onto the wall next to it.
The younger boy walked closer to the older boy. His leather boots slightly creased due to his movement and occasionally making a soft sound. Rin stood next to Seishirou, slightly propping himself onto the railing of the stairs.
That was until both boys heard the sound of car tires screeching not far from them. Bright turquoise and murky grey eyes landed onto the black vehicle that stopped a few feet away. Then, Rin’s older brother, Sae, rolled down the windows a little. There was also another person in the transport, specifically Shidou Ryuusei.
Rin’s left eye twitched.
Seishirou stared.
Ryuusei winded down the window even more, then poked his head out, letting the warm wind of summer brush against his skin. His golden blonde hair tipped with pink flew in the wind, before he ran his tanned hand along it. Sae, on the other hand, temporarily switched off the engine of the car. He flicked away a bead of sweat from his forehead, then turned his head to give his little brother an uninterested stare.
“Mm? Why is he here, Rin?” Seishirou questioned, in a puzzled state.
“Why the fuck should I know?!..” Rin replied, his tone getting rougher, and his face increasingly looking angrier.
That was when the redhead finally noticed the person next to Rin. He squinted his eyes, and recognized him as Nagi Seishirou. The random dude from Blue Lock that scored the goal after he did against him, while he was in the U20 team.
“Oh… Rin-Rin got a little friend?” Ryuusei teased from the car, loud enough for both boys to hear, although only Rin was the one getting affected.
“Or should I say.. boyfriend?”
“Fuck off!!”
Rin curled his fists.
Sae frowned. He felt a sense of protectiveness wash over him.
And in the middle of it all, Ryuusei was sitting there giggling like the funniest thing had happened, and Seishirou quietly staring at the three. Rin became more displeased each second, and Sae questioned the relationship between his younger brother and his Blue Lock teammate.
The older Itoshi pressed a palm over Ryuusei’s mouth, so that he’d stop spouting random bullshit that would piss the younger Itoshi even more. Sae gave Seishirou a glare after.
“You two, get in. Now.”
Rin huffed, walked towards the vehicle, pulled the car door and slammed it shut after seating himself at the back. The car shook from his violent slam. Seishirou followed suit, going to the other side so that he could sit next to Rin.
Rin had his arms crossed, stubbornly staring at the window and refusing to reply to the pestering remarks Shidou was constantly throwing at him. Seishirou scooted a little closer to Rin, so that he was able to lean on his shoulder. Rin gave no reaction. Sae saw from the mirror. His eyebrows furrowed.
He started the car again, stepped on the pedal, and started driving to their destination.
