Chapter Text
It was one of those days for Baran. She hadn’t slept that well she kept on worrying about her seizures. Which led her to worry more and then she got stuck on a loop. Robby was kind of giving her a hard time. She hadn’t had a seizure in months but that didn’t seem to matter. “Al-Hishimi can I talk to privately?” Fucking great, she agrees not willingly. “Ones the last time you had a seizure,” he said after they were at the ambulance bay. “Not for a month I’m just having an off day.” “Okay well I need you to be ok for you and for your patients.” He leaves with that and Baran is all alone again. She could see in the distance cars going. She could hear the ambulance coming to deliver another patient. It was all too much. She wanted to be somewhere else, anywhere else. She remained as calm as she could. She went back inside with that. She helped her other patients and acted as if nothing happened. She eventually texted Trinity, she was used to dealing with it all alone so this change was nice. She hates change most of the time, she keeps everything in order schedules meal plans, everything. When something minor changes it throws her off completely. Trinity eventually responds to Baran and offers for her to come over. She survives the rest of her shift mostly drifting off. She accepts the offer and heads over. Baran let herself in. “Hey, sweetheart.” “Oh baby, I’m so sorry; let me take care of you.” “ I cooked some fajitas earlier would you like some?” “Yes please.” She eats and talks to trinity. Trinity gets Baran’s shower ready. While Baran was showering she was really relieved, she didn’t have to worry with Trinity. Kian was already being taken care of by her mother so that wasn’t a problem either. She gets changed into some basic black pajamas. Baran was still feeling overwhelmed even with good change. She could feel her throat tighten up and she could feel
The tears in her eyes, she slowly blinked them away. “Baran you don’t always, have to be put together I live in chaos, you will never be too much.” That broke something in Baran and she let the tear fall. They cuddled up against each other, in a comforting silence. They fall asleep without another word.
