Amy woke up in sweat to feel her heart beating. ‘What…was that?’ Amy couldn’t help to think of her memories until a door kicked which made Nickolas jump.
“Rise and sunshine! How is my favorite sleepyhead doing on this roof!” Alexander cheered. “Morning dad, and I do have a sister.” Amy yawned. “Well, Sticks rebel enough to live in a burrow. We are learning to support adopted daughter…” Alexander scratched his head. “I thought you had a job tonight?” Amy begins to stand.
“Oh!” Alexander cleared his throat. “I…called the office to ask for a day off, they understand moving needs weeks. While boxes are still closed, I thought of this opportunity to meet the Acorn family and your grandfathers!” Alexander said. “Knuckles and the others are there?” Amy is surprised. “No, not your mother’s side! But your father’s side.” Alexander said. “I met Uncle O’Hedge and his family.” Amy was confused. “Yeah, but I had a past after the Mercia Kingdom.” Alexander said.
Amy was about to speak, but Alexander carried his daughter. “Let’s meet your mother before it’s too late!” Alexander begins to leave. ‘Of course.’ Amy notices Nickolas glare at her father.
Fifty Minutes and One Hour Later
Alicia looked at the living to see the room was spotless. ‘Hmm, I need to check if Amy has developed an allergy through the years?’ Alicia thought.
“What is all this? I don’t remember the party was serious?” Alicia saw her husband and her children were coming. “No, but this is a new welcome for Alexander and his daughter.” Alicia explains.
“You want to make Amy remember?” Sally sighs. “Absolutely. We have raised that girl! Sally, Elias. You have raised her while her parents are at work. I know it is not easy, but also remember she is part of our family.” Alicia said.
“Yeah, I don’t think it is easy.” Elias sighs. “I know, but I know you two will miss her once you meet closer.” Alicia said.
“Knock knock!” Alexander came with Amy next to him. “Alex! I am happy to see you after a long time!” Alicia came to hug Alexander. “Ella! It has been so many years!” Alexander smiles at his adopted sister.
Amy was uncomfortable by Alexander and Alicia hug. “Oh, Amy. I would like you to meet Queen Alicia. She has raised you since you were little.” Alexander introduces. “H-Hello! Your majesty.” Amy tried to be curtsy. “No need my dear. Call me Aunt Alicia.” Alicia kneels down with a smile. “Of course.” Amy smiled.
“Amy, do you remember Elias and Sally?” Alicia introduced her children. “I…hello!” Amy made an awkward wave at them.
“I think you would remember Elias more. You two were inseparable as little kids.” Maximillian pushes his wheelchair. “Elias?” Amy was confused.
“It’s me…I am Elias Acorn.” Elias introduces himself. “Do you know me?” Amy question?
“I…at first I didn’t, but when I finally looked at you closer. I understand that you are THE Amy Rose.” Elias smiles.
“I see.” Amy looked away. “What about me? Do you remember we used to stargaze in the castle and stayed over in my room?” Sally asked?
“No, I’m sorry, but I forgot.” Amy looked down. “What about me?” Maximillian was worried. “No, I’m sorry, but I can’t seem to know everyone in this castle or…in Knothole.” Amy said.
Alexander frowned at his daughter. “D-Do you happen to know any books or treasures to show us?” Alexander cleared his throat. “I think there is one! Let’s go!” Alicia begins to leave.
A moment later a box landed on the table. “We made sure to save some treasures when you moved out.” Alicia said.
“Let’s see…how about this book?” Alexander show a brown book which makes Amy begin to read the title:
The Dynasty Of The Crown.
Alexander, Maximillian, and Alicia were surprised. “Hey, that book was part of my assignment. I didn’t know you loved this book.” Elias smiles. “I don’t know, but I heard it is based on a true story?” Amy tries to remember. “Yeah, it needed a five page summary.” Sally smirked. “Oh don’t remind me of that!” Elias groans.
Amy picked the book and smiled. “I bet after writing the first page it wasn’t easy.” Amy opens the book. “You have no idea.” Elias smiles. “How about this bunny doll?” Sally reveals a plushie. “Yes, I did remember, but I didn’t know I left it here?” Amy is surprised.
Alexander and Maximillian look at each other with hopes. “Your royal majesty. They are news from the people…oh my! You have returned!” Rosie Woodchuck is shocked to meet Alexander and Amy. “Rosie! I didn’t know you were there! How are you!” Alexander smiled. “Rosie?” Amy is surprised.
“Of course, my cousin; Julayla Chipmunk was on your side when you were young.” Rosie explained. “Julayla, who is she?” Amy question? “You don’t know?” Rosie is surprised.
“Yeah, she…lost after a year…” Alexander tries to explain. “No! You cannot forget her…you can’t forget Julayla!” Rosie begins to leave.
Amy couldn’t feel heartbroken. “I’m sorry, but as you must know. Julayla Chipmunk…she passed away three years ago.” Sally explained. “NO! This can’t be happening!” Alexander gasps. ‘Why do I feel…heartbroken?’ Amy felt strong in her thoughts. “Well, maybe a tour of the castle would trigger her memory…let’s go Amy!” Alicia tries to hold Amy hand, but she hides behind her father’s leg. “I’m sorry, but she…has trust issues. Don’t worry sweetie. I am here for you.” Alexander held his daughter’s hand.
A walk in the hallway surprised Amy. “Well, has anything happened to your memory?” Alexander asked? “No, but I am surprised by the stares?” Amy was confused. “It’s a long story.” Elias sighs.
Amy couldn’t help but to think. “Dad, who is Julayla?” Amy question. “She…Julayla is the cousin of Rosie, who you met a while ago.” Alexander explained. “She was horrified when I didn’t know her.” Amy said. “Yeah, when you were a little girl…I used to go day and night for my job…I didn’t have time to visit home…that is why Julayla was a close person to keep an eye on you.” Alexander said. “She…did?” Amy is surprised. “Yeah, I know it’s not easy, but you must know she is a great person. I do hope you remember us.” Alexander sighs.
Amy is surprised by her father’s reaction.
Fifteen Minutes Later
Alexander and Alicia hug each other for farewell. “Well, I guess we’ll see each other this weekend.” Alicia said. “I wouldn’t mind missing this, Ella.” Alexander smiled.
‘Ella?’ Amy is speechless. “Come on Amy, let’s go home and meet Arthur and Isabella.” Alexander begins to walk.
Amy looked at Alicia one last time and she began to walk. “Wait!” Amy stopped to see that Rosie came with a tape. “Here! You need this more than I do.” Rosie gave the tape.
“Thank you.” Amy didn’t know what to say, but she began to follow her father.
Midnight
Amy enters the room with her hand holding the door handle. “Goodnight mom! Night dad!” Amy closes the door as she notices Nickolas was confused at the tapes.
“I see you are interested. Rosie gave me this tape. I didn’t use it because Arthur was a long story teller.” Amy sighs.
Nickolas uses his gem to pick the tape and place it inside of the television. ‘I guess we are watching now.’ Amy sits in front of the television to watch the tape.
A young Rosie was adjusting the camera at the Acorn Castle Garden.
“Did you get the camera ready?” Rosie saw a chipmunk woman come with four year old Amy in her hand. “Yes, and make sure she isn’t sleeping for this special tea party!” Rosie smiles.
Five year old Sally came with a smile. “Rosie! Julayla! Can we begin the tea cakes!” Sally cheered. “Alright, let us begin!” Rosie walks to sit next to Sally.
“Cake?” Amy spoke at Julayla. “Yes! We got vanilla and strawberry shortcakes just for you girls.” Julayla smiled. “YAY!” Amy cheered.
The television changed the scenes as it revealed Sally was writing a letter and Rosie zoomed the camera at Julayla brushing Amy quills, who was sleeping in her arms.
The television begins to stop with the tape falling in front of Nickolas.
Wow, I never thought this is a memory tape? Amy?
Nickolas noticed Amy yes was focusing on her television without noticing tears fall through her cheeks.
“W-Wow! I better go and sleep!” Amy got up to sleep in her bed.
Amy! Will you be alright?
Nickolas jumps to land at his bunker. “Yes, I am fine…I have a lot of people to meet.” Amy begins to sleep as she quickly falls asleep.

Amy slowly opened her eyes to notice a hill. ‘Wh-Where am I?’ Amy looks around in confusion.
“Hello there!” Amy looks up and is shocked to see Julayla with a smile…
Amy tried to speak, but she couldn’t say a single voice.
“That alright my dear. I am glad you are safe and return Knothole. I do hope this adventure will bring your memories back.” Julayla smiled.

Amy gasps at her dreams which makes Nickolas wake up in shock.
Amy? What has happened?
“I…I had the strangest dream ever…it felt real.” Amy sighs.
Well, I am sure some breakfast would clear your mind. Especially some waffles to eat.
Nickolas smiles. “Thanks, but I guess I’ll have some berries before a walk in the town…alone.” Amy begins to stand.
Absolutely not. I am coming with you and I want to stretch my legs!
Nickolas begins to stretch which makes Amy giggled. “Alright, but no more schemes on a bright day!” Amy giggled.
Five Minutes Later
Amy and Nickolas walk in the streets to see a peaceful moment. “Wow, I wonder why I left this place! Everything around this city is perfect!” Amy smiled.
I know, but whatever your parents have meant. It would mean something else.
Amy was confused by Nickolas words. “Do you know why?” Amy question?
“Amy? Is that you?” Amy met Amadeus Prower and Rosemary Prower. “H-Hello! You must be Mr. and Mrs. Prower! Arthur has explained who you are.” Amy smiled. “Please, do call me Amadeus, and my wife’s name is Rosemary.” Amadeus introduces.
“Oh! So meaning you are Tails parents. I was surprised that he was a genius when he hacked the computer.” Amy is surprised. “That our son! We are handing it to Sonic and his family. Tails is staying over for breakfast and we are joining them.” Rosemary asked?
“Oh, I had a big breakfast and I promised to return home.” Amy explained.
“Nonesense! You must come. I have noticed you have lost some weight and it’s not good for girls at this age!” Rosemary holds Amy shoulder and walks in the streets. “Not to worry, I’ll call your father to join our brunch.” Amadeus smirks.
Amy is shocked, but she couldn’t refuse Amadeus and Rosemary welcoming.
I hope they are berries for me to eat.
Nickolas smiles at his thought.
One Minute Later
Jules was on a phone call with Alexander. “Yes, we will make sure everything is planned and not to worry. I won’t let Amy be spoiled because it’s your job. Yes, we do know the job.” Jules hung up the call.
“Good news. You are welcome for brunch.” Jules sits at his table next to his brother and wife.
“Nice! It is a great opportunity to get to know Amy.” Sonic took a bite of his pancakes. “I hope you didn’t develop any allergics in this brunch?” Bernadette looks at Amy. “No, I am all good and they look and smell amazing!” Amy took a sandwich. “Well, I hope you’ll enjoy the brunch that was made by my sister-in-law.” Charles drinks his cup of coffee.
“So, how have you been since moving?” Tails took a bite of his candy.
“It’s good. We finished unpacking, and Sticks got herself ready for her burrow.” Amy explained. “So, Sticks is your adopted sister?” Rosemary question?
“Yes, when I was ten. I have met Sticks in Mercia…she and I have grown up together and continue our adventures around the world. One thing I do think I have lived was-”
Sonic didn’t hear the rest, but he kept staring at Amy talking with Tails parents.
After brunch. Tails escort Amy to his room with Sonic. “Over there I have some blueprints I have created!” Tails open the drawer.
“Wow, you and Sonic share the room?” Amy is surprised to inspect the room. “Oh right! When I was five. My mom and Aunt Bernie have decided to make an extra bed for us! My house has an extra room with me.” Tails explain.
“I didn’t know both of your family and Sonic family are really…close.” Amy begins to sit on Sonic bed. “Yeah, aside from our family. The other families are closer, I think your parents are siblings to my parents and the others.” Tails brought his book and he began to sit next to Amy.
“Tails! Can you come here for a minute?” Rosemary called through the room.
“I’m coming! I hope you don’t mind.” Tails said. “That’s fine, go to your parents.” Amy said. “Of course! I promise to come back!” Tails left the room.
Amy sighs at the alone time as she notices the room. ‘This place…looks peaceful?’ Amy couldn’t help but feel better.
“I see you are enjoying the room.” Amy flinched and she met Sonic lay at the door frame.
Amy stands up to notice the bed. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know this is your bed.” Amy apologized. “That’s fine, beside. You did enjoy jumping into my bed when we were little.” Sonic chuckle.
‘Huh?’ Amy was about to speak, but she received a kiss from Sonic. “We used to be best friends and I…I did miss you.” Sonic holds her chin.
Amy couldn’t believe how close Sonic is. “I…I gotta go!” Amy left Sonic room.
Sonic couldn’t believe it, but he smirked at Amy action. ‘Looks like she hasn’t changed even with the memory loss.’ Sonic sigh.
Amy came into the living room and she caught her breath. ‘I’m here! I hope Sonic won’t kiss me in front of everyone.’ Amy sighs.
Are you alright?
Amy flinches from Nickolas land next to her shoulder. “You need to stop appearing like that!” Amy sighs.
I’m sorry, but you must look at what I have found!
Nickolas jumps and runs at the table with Amy followed to notice a small picture frame. “Is that?” Amy couldn’t believe the picture.
A picture of young Alexander, Jules, Charles, and Amadeus.
“It looks like my dad! With Amadeus and Charles at a young age! But…who is the man next to my dad?” Amy notices a blue hedgehog with brown hair and green eyes.
“I see you have met my past!” Amy flinches to meet Jules kneeling next to her. “Can you not sneak on me! It is not easy from this! Amy tries to catch her breath. “Oh, I’m sorry.” Jules said.
“Why are you a robot?” Amy question? “I have lived through pain…I was about to die since the Great War, but I didn’t know at the end…I am still like this.” Jules said.
Amy places the picture frame at the table. “I…I never thought your body self…is familiar.” Amy confessed which made Jules confused.
A door begins to knock which makes Charles come to open. “Oh! Alexander! What an amazing surprise!” Charles smiled. “Hey, I hope to stop. I need to kidnap my daughter or else my wife will kill me.” Alexander chuckled.
“What! Already!” Bernadette came in shocked. “Sorry, but this is urgent.” Alexander said. “Do not worry. I will come in my free time. Come on Nickolas! Let’s go.” Amy called.
It’s about time.
Nickolas follows Amy and Alexander.
Jules was standing at the door with a sigh. “Is something wrong dad?” Jules saw his son come next to him. “Yes, Sonic. I know I am happy that Alex and Amy are coming, but the schedule has changed. I am not sure I will get used to it.” Jules said as he entered inside.
Sonic notices Amy giggling at her father. ‘I can enjoy this change.’ Sonic smirked with his arms crossed.
