Chapter Text
Penny wakes up to her phones alarm blaring and she blindly fishes around to turn it off.
She finds her phone and manages to press the snooze button before finding her glasses, and turning the alarm of completely.
She sits there sleepily for a minute before she get up to get ready to go. She’s been interning for S.I. for a week now, and it has been the coolest thing ever.
Tony has robots, freaking robots, they acted like a mix between a dog and a child, which was strange but no less cool.
And of course there was Jarvis the most advanced AI in the history of AI. Made you forget he wasn’t human, though Penny still treated him like one, since he still seemed to have emotions.
Everything in his work shop was amazing, the holograms, his projects, just everything.
Tony mentioned wanting to create a way to have the tower run entirely on clean energy which is what they would be working on for however long it took.
Not too long giving the fact they already had a something to go off of with the arc reactor.
Penny eats her breakfast, and leaves to get on to the subway station.
On her way she text Gwen, since she’s probably the only one awake at this time.
Me- Good Morning! :)
Gwen- Morning, what are you working on today?
Me- Can’t say
Me- it's a secret
Gwen- Even to me?
Me- Hey SI will be announcing the project in a couple of days.
Me- I can tell you about it then.
Gwen- Ooo must be important.
Me- It's pretty big.
Me- Oh! I can tell you about the new phone though
Me- its basically indestructible.
Gwen- We should pool our resources and get Johnny one.
Gwen- Since he’s broken his last 4.
Me- I thought he only broke 3?
Gwen- Nope the idiot broke his current one yesterday
Me-what he do this time?
Gwen- he threw it out his bedroom window
Penny- how?
Gwen- He’s very passionate about Legend of Zelda.
Penny- Dumbass
Gwen- Yep
Me- gtg at my stop
Gwen- come by my house after we haven hung out in awhile.
Me- yes ma’am
Penny makes her way through the crowds of people as she walks up to Stark tower, showing her badge to the security at the door and making her on to the elevator.
Tony has the schematics for the tower up and ready to go already when she walks into the work shop.
“Hey Pen, come look at this.” He waves her over once he spots her.
“Wow,” She says seeing what he had, “You think it will work?”
“Of course it will work I desined it.”
“Sir may I riminde you of-“
“No you may not J”
“Remind him of what.”
“Of his first attempts of the Iron man armor, Dummy, and of course.”
“Traitor!”
“Never Sir, I am loyal only to you.”
“Lies , all of it.”
“You were the one who created me.”
“What are you laughing at” Tony points an acussing finger at Penny, and her poor attempt of covering he laughter up.
“The fact you made an AI that sasses you.”
“I take offence to that,” His attempt to look offended was ruined by his lips turning upwards.
“No you don’t you love Jarvis.”
“Touché, Now lets get started.”
They must of been working for five hours when Tonys phone goes off.
He goes to look at it while Penny keeps working, a few minutes pass before she hears Tony say something.
“Holy Shit.”
She turns just in time to see Tony drop his phone and slid to the ground shaking like he was about to have a panic attack.
“What’s wrong, what happened?” She asked going over to him.
“They uh they found, they found him, he’s alive.”
“Who, who did they find?”
“Captain America”
