Chapter Text
seokjin slowly wakes up and squints his eyes at the sudden bright light. he sits up carefully, wincing at the dull pain pulsing through his abdomen. he looks around and sees that he’s back in his and namjoon’s room.
seokjin looks down and slips his hand underneath his shirt to press against the gauze gently. his hand moves down to where his leg is wrapped up, and he smiles softly at the little doodles on it that he assumes is by jungkook.
he looks over when he hears the door open, and his smile widens when namjoon peeks in. namjoon smiles back and enters the room, closing the door behind him and going over to seokjin. he sits on the edge of the bed next to him and strokes seokjin’s hair, whispering, “hey. how are you feeling?”
“i’m okay,” seokjin hums, intertwining his fingers with namjoon’s. namjoon leans forward and pecks seokjin gently, and seokjin continues, “my abdomen hurts still. but it’s not as bad as it was initially.”
“that’s good,” namjoon sighs, rubbing his thumb over seokjin’s hand. “you should rest some more.”
“who was the one to patch me up?” seokjin frowns, avoiding namjoon’s statement. “no offense, but you all suck at medics.”
“youngjae came by and helped,” namjoon chuckles, an amused expression on his face. “but you’re still going to rest.”
seokjin scrunches up his nose, but he nods reluctantly. “i just woke up, though. relax with me?”
namjoon lays down with seokjin, wrapping his arms around seokjin carefully to make sure he doesn’t hurt him. seokjin turns so he’s facing namjoon, hiding his face against his chest and whispering, “thank you, joonie.”
“anything for you, sweetheart,” namjoon chuckles. “now just relax. i love you.”
