It was a typical Sunday. Couples walked together through the park, hand in hand. Kids stayed at home, sleeping in till 5. The occasional groaning office works, hauling themselves in for extra hours at the office.

The small cafe on the side of the street was popular, the simply decorated interior being the main attraction for photos. However, the small phenomenon that had broken out with the regulars was the particularly attractive blue haired barista.

That same blue haired barista was now, rather aggressively adding whipped cream to a drink. The young blonde customer, stuck out her chest and played with her hair, fluttering her eyelashes in hopes to attract Yoongi's attention. Yoongi, however, seemed more set on getting more whipped cream on the counter than in the actual drink.

Handing the empty drink to the shocked customer, Yoongi mindlessly wiped down the mess he had just created.

Yoongi and Jimin had been dating for around four months, but so far the relationship had been rather peaceful. With the occasional bickering or stupid arguments. For example, Jimin being mad at Yoongi for coming home wasted. Or Yoongi getting over protective when Jimin got too close with his dancer friends, especially the doe eyed younger called Jungkook, who seemed to find any excuse to hug or play with Jimin.

Their first time meeting, Yoongi ended up getting mad, and Jungkook left early, Yoongi's coffee staining his shirt.

However, the harsh words that had been spoken the previous night resonated in Yoongi's mind.

~ Previous day ~

A slight fog settled over Seoul, settling lazily in between the buildings and shops. The particularly gloomy day had caused many to retreat in to their houses and spend the day in bed watching TV. Forecasts showed a storm approaching that night, which only added to the especially cold weather Seoul had been experiencing.

Yoongi had a break that day and despite the bad weather, decided to head out with his friends Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok. They decided to get a few drinks together over some Korean Barbecue.

"Hey Jimin, I'm out with the guys tonight so don't wait up for me ok?" yelled Yoongi over his shoulder, struggling putting on his shoes.

"Oh ok, hav-" Jimin was cut off as the door closed abruptly behind Yoongi. Sighing, Jimin ran a hand through his hair and went back to his laptop.

~ 15 minutes later ~

The smoke billowed out from the small shop on the empty road, blown by the increasing wind, the striped pink and white sign creaked painfully. The faint sound of laughing and glass clinking echoed in the empty streets.

"Hey you made it! We just ordered so the food should be here soon." shouted Hoseok, waving at Yoongi to join them.

Sitting down next to Hoseok, Yoongi subtly checked his phone in case Jimin had messaged him. Just as he pulled it out, it was just as quickly taken from his hands and Yoongi looked up in annoyance.

"Give me back my fucking phone Namjoon" demanded Yoongi, rolling his eyes.

"Nope, tonight it's about us and I know that your eyes are gonna be glued to the screen the whole time if you have this in your hands" replied Namjoon, defiantly putting the phone in his bag.

Shaking his head, Yoongi ignored his friends stubbornness and poured himself a drink.

"So, how's it going with you and Jimin?" asked Jin.

"Good, our 5 month anniversary is actually coming up." said Yoongi nonchalantly while cooking the beef.

"Really? That's surprising, you guys haven't had a big fight yet?" said Namjoon, a hint of tease in his voice.

Yoongi shook his head.

"Well Yoongs, I think you're gonna have one sooner or later, you guys can't be perfect all the time." said Hoseok.

"Yeah, well we'll see. Everything's fine so I don't need you guys jinxing me ok?" muttered Yoongi.

"Calm down, it happens to all of us, even Namjoon and I, as long as you can talk it out you'll be fine." laughed Jin.

"Yeah and control that temper of yours" added Namjoon grinning.

Yoongi threw a piece of beef at Namjoon's head, only narrowing missing.

"Hey, thats expensive dip shit, don't waste good food" exclaimed Namjoon glaring at Yoongi.

"Yeah, I'm paying for this remember?" said Hoseok smacking Yoongi on the arm.

Yoongi only laughed and rolled his eyes at his friends. The atmosphere was warm and the scent of savoury beef wafted in the air. Drink after drink they stayed for several hours until the restaurant staff had to usher them out to close up.

Laughing like a bunch of teenagers, they all said their goodbyes and started to head home.

"Hey are you sure you don't want a ride? I'm the only sober one here and I don't want you to get into an accident" asked Jin worriedly.

"Nah, it's fine I didn'teeven have thatmuch" said Yoongi, slurring his words.

"Fine, but text me when you get home ok?" sighed Jin as he helped a very drunk Namjoon into the back of the car.

"Yoooongihyung, I love you mannn, you know that? But you only love jIMinnnn" cried Namjoon, obviously wasted.

"Ok, get in the car Joon" sighed Jin, physically stuffing the grown man into the car.

"Yeahyeah, bye Joooonieee" laughed Yoongi as he fumbled around for his keys.

~ 15 minutes later ~

Yoongi quietly shut the door behind him and dropped onto the couch. Rubbing his eyes tiredly Yoongi felt himself drift off to sleep.

"MIN FUCKING YOONGI, HOW DARE YOU COME BACK AT THIS LATE OF AN HOUR AND NOT EVEN HAVE THE AUDACITY TO COME APOLOGISE TO ME?" shouted Jimin at the top of his voice.

Yoongi fell of the bed due to the sudden noise and looked up in confusion. Scrambling to his feet he shook the hair out of his eyes and yawned.

"What? Jimin? What's wrong, i-is everything okay?" said Yoongi frantically.

"What's wrong is that you were out for 7 FUCKING HOURS. YOU DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO MESSAGE ME BACK OR CALL ME?" shouted Jimin, pacing back and forth the living room.

Yoongi was still confused as he was drunk and had woken up abruptly. It took him a while to finally understand where he was, who he was and what was going on.

"You didn't even message me, what did you expect me to do?" groaned Yoongi

"What the fuck are you talking about, I called you 17 times and messaged you countlessly. Do you know how worried I was?!" shouted Jimin, face going red in frustration.

"Calm down, I didn't even get home that late..." muttered Yoongi under his breath, annoyed that he was reacting so dramatically over something small.

"Don't you even try to tell me to calm down, what is wrong with you. It's 2 in the morning, you left at 8 last night. Of course I would be worried!" sighed Jimin, leaning back against the wall.

"Well that's not my problem is it? I never told you to stay up, you don't have to know where I am all the time." groaned a tired Yoongi.

"I'm sorry for worrying about you, I didn't realise it was wrong of me to care" shot back Jimin.

"Ok sure play the guilt trip, what do you want me to say? Wow Jimin thanks so much, I love it when people annoy me endlessly to the point where I can't stand to look at them." shouted Yoongi loudly.

Jimin's annoyed expression turned to hurt as he reacted to Yoongi's words.

"You can't stand to look at me?" asked Jimin in a shaky voice,

"That's what I just said isn't it? You are so emotional sometimes, I don't know how to deal with you" said Yoongi angrily.

Jimin felt tears prick his eyes as Yoongi continued on.

"You're being really clingy right now, and I hate clingy people." said Yoongi harshly.

The air got trapped in Jimin's throat as he processed Yoongi's words.

"You hate me...?" whispered Jimin softly.

Yoongi felt his anger melt away as he realised what he had said.

"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that..." whispered Yoongi, feeling guilty about what he had said.

"Sounded like you did." said Jimin sarcastically, glaring at Yoongi.

"No, I just got mad ok? I said sorry already, get off my damn back." shot back Yoongi, starting to feel his anger return. His head was pounding because of all the beer he had drunk and Jimin's non stop talking made it worse.

"Sorry isn't fixing things this time, maybe we could have sorted this out properly if you weren't being a complete ass right now." yelled Jimin. This was the first time Yoongi had ever heard Jimin sound so angry, and he was at a loss for words.

"That's not the first time someone's said they hated me anyway..." spat out Jimin bitterly.

Yoongi fell silent, Jimin sounded mad but Yoongi could hear Jimin's voice breaking. There was a long moment of silence. Yoongi guiltily looked at Jimin who had lowered his head. Playing with his shirt, Yoongi nervously opened his mouth to speak.

"Get out."

Yoongi's mouth hung open at the words of the younger, Jimin looked up at Yoongi with watery eyes.

"I don't want to see you right now." said Jimin with a hard voice.

"But Ji-"

"No, shut up. Go to Namjoon's house, we can talk tomorrow." said Jimin in a monotone voice. "I'm too tired to deal with this bullshit."

The rain mercilessly shook the windows, Yoongi gave Jimin a desperate look, not wanting to experience the storm first hand. However, all that Yoongi saw was Jimin's retreating figure, slowly heading up the stairs.

Jimin left Yoongi in the living room. Standing up, Yoongi sighed and picked up his car keys and called out a weak "goodnight" before leaving. Running through the rough rain, all he had to cover himself was a thin jacket.

Sitting in the car, his hair clung to his forehead, slicked back by the rain. Lying back into the seat, Yoongi felt pathetic. Pathetic for being stupid enough to not call Jimin back. Pathetic for shouting at Jimin. Pathetic for sitting alone in his car, in the middle of a storm at four in the morning. Picking up his phone, Yoongi sent a text to Jin.

"I'm coming over."

Authors note: This isn't my best work sorry, I just had really bad writers block for some reason but I needed to get the chapter out since I hadn't published anything for a while 😅. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed it and I promise to try and make the next chapter better.
