Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Lemmie take a nap right-

Summary:

HOLY CRAP IM NOT DEAD!!
aaaaaAAAAAA!
I'm so sorry I've been gone for so long- and haven't been updating- school has been a shitshow and my motivation is at an all-time low. I've been wanting to write some one-shots instead of a high dedication fic like this, as it's been getting harder for me to just sit down and write. I've gotten into cosplay recently, and have my first BNHA cosplay- Midoriya Izuku! I'm currently working on a Bonnie cosplay as well (from FNAF)

SUMMARY:
Izu takes a nap on the floor and Recovery girl patches him up

TW: slight anxiety attack, but not detailed so it should be fine.

Notes:

AGAIN IM SO SORRY FOR THOSE WHO WERE INTERESTED IN THIS FIC.

I might try to update more often, but the chapters might be shortened even more than they already are, and I'm sorry, but as much as I wish this was easier for me to post for you guys, I just don't have the time. I will hopefully at least post once a month, Which I should be able to manage that at the least. There might be some surprise super short updates as well

NOT BETA'D WE DIE LIKE MEN

(word count: 1016)

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Izuku’s thoughts were going a thousand miles an hour at the sight before him, his thoughts blocking the pain that was starting to ebb back into his body, his adrenaline starting to run low.  As the teen started to step forward, he gasped, then promptly fell face-first onto the ground, the last of his energy spent.

     “Oh, that's not very good,” Recovery girl commented.
     “No shit sherlock!” Shouta exclaimed. He wasn’t sure why he was so protective of this kid, but he didn't have the time to worry about that now. Shouta quickly knelt down, picking up the boy gently, making sure his sides didn't move, “Where do you want me to bring him?”
     Recovery Girl just looked at Shouta before huffing and spinning around, leading the man into a spare room with a simple bed and a short, long table.
     “Place him on the table for now, I don't want him getting blood all over the bed,” Recovery Girl spoke. Shouta complied, gently releasing the surprisingly small boy in his arms. He watched worriedly as Recovery Girl pulled out a box of medical supplies. She grabbed out the bandages and scissors, along with a small rag. Recovery Girl made quick work, taking off the kid’s belt and disposing of it on the floor. What shocked Shouta is the fact that there were wires connected to the box which seemed to extend when the belt was taken farther away. Recovery Girl fixed this by pushing the boy’s shirt up and moving the belt onto the table. The woman frowned at the wound, before quickly placing the rag on it, applying pressure. Shouta watched as the older woman sighed before leaning down and planting a kiss on the boy’s forehead. A faint green glow came from the wound as the muscle fibers wove back together.
     “He is gonna be out for a few hours, but the boy will be fine.” Recovery girl spoke after a few moments, finally taking the now blood soaked rag away. Shouta watched as she shuffled out of the room for a few moments, coming back with a clean and slightly damp towel. She threw it at Shouta with surprising speed, as he caught it he looked down at the boy again. His figure was surprisingly lean yet muscular, definitely built for speed rather than strength and even though Shouta couldn't see the boy’s face, he could imagine the somewhat childish face underneath. As the man started to wipe away the drying blood from the kid’s abdomen, he heard Recovery Girl speak.
     “So where did you find this one? And is adoption happening any time soon?”
     Shouta grumbled something about how, “This is a kid not a cat.”
     “Species has never stopped you before,” Recovery Girl chuckled.
     Shouta grumbled again but started to explain what went down earlier.

~~~~~~~~~~
     Izuku groaned as he came back into consciousness. He suddenly felt the weight of his mask on his face. ‘Shit, I must have forgotten to take it off last night,’ As he reached up to take off the metal weight, his hand was stopped by a larger one.
     “If you want to keep your identity secret you might not want to do that.”
     Izuku yelped as he jumped back, slamming his eyes open. Green orbs met black and Izuku immediately froze, his eyes turning blank.
     ‘Holy fucking shit is that…’ Izuku screamed internally, ‘Eraserhead?!! Why was he watching me sleep?! Where am I? Did he get into my house? No, this isnt my room, where the fuck am I?!’  Izuku began to breathe quickly and shallowly, ‘Did I get hurt? Did I make Eraserhead worry? Did I disturb his life? Is he mad at me?! Is he going to hurt me like everyone else when I wasted their time?!’  Izuku was trembling, curled up in the corner next to the wall on the bed, trying to make himself as small as possible while simultaneously trying to calm himself down. He went over his breathing steps in his head, ‘in, one, two, three, four, hold, one, two, three, four, exhale, one, two, three, four,’  Izuku repeated these steps for what seemed like ages, though it was only around seven minutes. The boy lifted his head, peeking slightly over his arms at the tired face staring worriedly at him, dark circles stark against pale skin.
     “Do you remember how you got here kid?” The man finally spoke.
    “N-n-no?” Izuku spoke, though seemed to ask it more like a question. He clenched his fists tighter around his legs, keeping them firmly locked to his chest.
     Izuku watched as the hero’s demeanor changed, he relaxed and leaned back more, trying to make himself seem less of a threat.
     “You got stabbed, so I brought you to a friend’s.”
     ‘I got--- WHAT?!’  Now that Izuku’s mind was clearer from the- ordeal a little bit ago, he could finally process what was happening around him. Izuku seemed to be in a spare bedroom of sorts, he was currently sitting on a small bed tucked in the corner of the room, while there was a long, short table was somewhere near the foot of the bed, though it was pressed away so someone could be on all sides of the table. There was a small shelf which held what seemed to be a first aid kit, along with some rags next to it. Izuku’s eyes finally stopped back on the man sitting beside the bed.
     “Your- Eraserhead r-right?” Izuku spoke slow and wobbly, trying to remember how and when he got stabbed.
     “You sure know your obscure heroes kid, not many people know who I am.” Eraserhead spoke smoothly.
     “A-are you… angry w-with me?” Izuku kept hiding most of his face behind his knees, his body responding as if he moved, he would anger the other man.
     “Angry? No. Worried? A little. C’mon kid, who do you think I am? A stone-faced sleep-deprived underground hero?”
     Izuku lightly smiled at the joke, his post-anxiety attack fading away and leaving his normal fanboy self behind.
     ‘I can't belive this is the  Eraserhead! And he’s Talking to me!’
Notes:
Thank you so much for reading! This is my first real Fic on here, and I'm excited to share this idea. I know a lot of people do Vigilante Izuku, but I wanted to do one of my own, and I love the father-son relationship that Aizawa and Izuku could have! Thank you again, and have a great day! :3
Extra thank you to my beta reader!! Thank you so much for helping me <3!
