Oh my god! Look!” One girl said as she stopped her friend from crossing the street. She pointed to their left and it wasn’t hard to figure out what, or rather who, she pointed at.
Feet away from them and on the other side of the road was a good looking man with light blue hair and a pale complexion. Even though he was sitting, they could tell he was tall. The clean, and cool colored clothing he wore surprisedly complemented with the snowboard shaped skateboard that was by his side. His aqua colored eyes were locked on his phone; the way he was swiping down made them think he was merely scrolling on his phone.
He looked like he was a model. Which is why they were flabbergasted that he was currently sitting outside a cheap burger joint.
“We have to talk to him.” The first girl said.
“What?” The second one yelped. “But what if he already has a girlfriend?”
“We’ll just have to shoot our shot.”
As they waited to cross, a cute looking boy with sun-kissed skin and bright red hair made his way to where the handsome guy was sitting. He was carrying a stack of burgers and two order of fries on a tray.
The handsome man, who hadn’t had much of an expression before, lite up when he caught sight of the redhead.
“Look, he’s with a friend.” The second girl commented.
“Yay, now we can double date.” Her friend winked.
That only caused the second girl to groan. “I still think this is a bad idea.”
“Relax will you?”
The crosswalk light finally signaled that it was their turn to walk.
“We’re just going to say hi.” She continued. “We’ll ask them if they want to hang and if they say they can’t, well, at least we tried. Besides-”
She pulled on her friend’s arm. “We’re two beauties. There is no way they’ll be able to resist.”
The second girl continued to look unsure.
They finished crossing the street and were steps away from the pair.
The first girl opened her mouth, ready to start a conversation when they watched what happened next unveil.
The redhead, who had sat down next to the pretty boy when they were crossing and who they just noticed was holding the handsome guy’s hand, brought his long fingers to his lips.
Though it was very hard to see, the action caused the blunet to blush. He stopped eating his burger and leaned towards the other male. He pecked his cheek.
That caused the tanned redhead to flush with color. But soon the two looked at one another with a love struck gaze, a look so intimate it made the girls feel like they shouldn’t be watching, before they leaned forward and kissed directly on the lips.
Both women froze just inches away from their table. When they realized what had happened, the two power-walked past them, not caring that they were now heading back in the direction they originally came from.
Once they were a block away, the two looked at one another.
“Oh my god. We almost interrupted their date!”
Silence. Then the first girl said-
“But that doesn’t mean we’re homophobic right?”
“Is it me or did it look like those girls wanted to ask us something?” Reki wondered out loud as he watched the two girls who had been standing in front of their table practically sprint away.
But Langa didn’t answer him, too busy devouring the pile of burgers in front of him.
“Oh well-Langa! Stop! Those are my fries!”
