Chapter Text

The Girl grumbled as she watched The Pretender and Mono drink tea together, The Butler having a tray of scones and more tea beside him as he floated next to the duo.

You see, The Girl had not only survived the injuries, but she had been watching The Pretender and Mono for the past week now. Watched as The Pretender snuggled, cuddled, hugged, kissed, and gave so much affection to Mono, who just seemed a little bit uncomfortable with it. The Girl didn't like that her Mono was being touched by such a monster. She had to figure out how to save him!

Luckily an opportunity arose. Mono was by himself in the Tearoom as The Pretender was busy picking out a dress for herself to wear. Mono had on a tight suit on that he kept squirming in, but he still had on his paper bag. It gave The Girl comfort knowing at least that monster didn't take that away from her bag boy.

She looked around once more. The Butler wasn't here either, good. She looked back once more to see if The Pretender was anywhere nearby, and she wasn't. Now was her chance! She darted out her hiding spot and grabbed Mono's hand. "Come on! We have to get out of here!" She exclaimed quietly, tugging him along.

Mono looked at her in shock. "You're alive?! I thought you were-" he started, but The Girl put a finger to her lips.

"Quiet!" She whispered, pulling him up out the chair and moving towards her hiding place. "We have to go before-"

There was a screech. Welp too late, The Girl thought as she whipped her head around to see The Pretender running straight at her. The Girl stepped in front of Mono to protect him from this psychopath but Mono pulled her away at the last second so she wouldn't be touched by The Pretender.

The young girl growled and started to run at the duo again but Mono yelled out, "Stop!" Both girls instantly stopped their attacks. "Look, I know both of you like me. A lot." Mono held up a hand to stop their protests and denial. "And I like both of you too! But can we please try not to kill each other? We can all be friends together right?" He asked, looking back and forth between the two. The Girl and The Pretender looked at each other for a long while before nodding in agreement. "Yay!" Mono cheered. "Lets go have some fun!"

The rest of the day was filled with somewhat fun stuff. Mono and The Girl played in the garden while The Pretender and The Butler watched from the background, the young lady grumbling nastily about it. Then Mono and The Pretender watched TV in her private TV room, both of them on the throne like sofa while The Girl shifted uncomfortably in a wooden chair a few rows away from them, glaring at The Pretender while she smiled smugly in Mono's lap. Then to end off the day the trio jumped up and down on the bed, Mono being more happy about it and The Girl and The Pretender glaring at each other the whole time. But Mono didn't even notice, bless his heart.

Mono flopped onto the bed on his back and sighed happily. "Today was great!" He exclaimed. "I can't wait for more adventures tomorrow. But I'm getting tired now." he yawned to prove that point. "Let's go to sleep now okay?"

The Girl was about to move right next to Mono but The Pretender screeched, "No! I won't allow her in my bed!"

The Girl growled at her but Mono asked, "Please? For me?" He gave The Pretender the biggest puppy dog eyes he could muster and The Pretender sighed.

"Fine, we'll share the bed. Just this once." She hissed, and Mono whooped, grabbing both girls and hugging them to his sides like teddy bears. "You girls are the bestest friends I could ask for..." He mumbled happily, before finally going to sleep. The girls looked at each other over Mono and gave their best glare.

"Listen here Miss Dress Up," The Girl muttered as to not wake up Mono. "I don't like you and you don't like me. But we both love Mono. So how about we stay out of each others way until he decides who he wants to be with?" She asked.

The Pretender huffed, but nodded. "Very well. But we both know he's going to pick me."

"In your dreams you twat."

"How dare-"

Mono snorted out loudly, startling both of them out of the argument. They glared at each other one last time before snuggling up to Mono. At least they could agree on one thing. They both loved the bag boy.
