"STOP!" karl cried out. Arms in the air trying to protect him. Though it couldn't prevent the harsh words from his boyfriend. Swears and harsh words repeating. Karls tall boyfriend leaned in about to hit him.

Sweat ran cold. Karl woke up crying, hot wet tears dripping from his soft eyes. "Karl? Karl are you okay?!" Sapnap said worried rushing to Karls side, sliding his hands in Karls hair petting him slightly as Karl cried into his white t shirt, tears stain Sapnaps shirt. Though he didn't seem to care.
"H-he.. was in my dream, he was yelling.. i was scared. I'm scared Sap." Karl cried harder, Sapnap continued to play with the soft hair of the slightly older one. Sapnap has always been one to be good at comforting. Especially when it came to someone he loved.
He loved Karl.
"Hey. Calm, it was a dream. Your with me dear. Your okay i promise ill keep you safe, ill keep you safe i swear." Sapnap breathed out, loud enough for the two to hear. It wasn't till now when Sapnap noticed the loud rain pouring from the sky onto the roof.
Thud, thud. Crash.
Karl flinched, scared of the loud noise of the pouring rain. Clinging onto Sapnap as if he was dying. Sapnap enjoyed the feeling of the warmth of someone here, someone he loved with him. Sapnap wanted to protect Karl, make sure hes safe. Never wanting him to hurt so bad ever again. Never see him in pain again, for him to be happy, free.
"i love you.." Karl mumbled, passing out on Sapnaps lap.
Rain poured outside. Sapnaps clock flashed red numbers, 3:48 The tension with him and the sleeping boy felt warm and fuzzy. Heartwarming you could say.
Sapnap released a breathy sigh not wanting to move, though he needed sleep too. He admired the fluffy hair boy in his lap, his breathing calm and steady. Unlike Sapnaps. Sapnaps heart raced fast, he was flustered. He was feeling many different things this very moment. Was he falling for his best friend Karl Jacobs?

Sunlight gleamed into the room, yawning heard from the other side of the bed, thats when Sapnap remembered, Karl was here, really here. Not over a screen anymore. Karl turned around facing Sapnap giving him a cheeky smile. "Goodmorning Sap," Karl said sleepily, the words falling slowly from his mouth.
"Morning Karl," Sapnap mumbled, still waking up. Karl sat up facing Sapnap and hugged him tightly, Sapnap hugged back inhaling the smell of Karl. Vanilla and flowers.
"Sapnap, i want to make the most out of my time here with you. Please." The brunette mumbled. A coat of genuine want laced his voice. Sapnap nodded, Karl felt it. They both felt the tension in the air, bodies wrapped around eachother as they hug, warm sunlight shinning in. The smell of fresh rain. They felt it.
"Ill make sure you enjoy yourself. I swear." Sapnap sighed, pulling apart, wishing they could stay like that forever. Karl sighed at the lack of contact, touch starved, wanting so much attention and care, and Sapnap wanted to give Karl that, the love he never got.
"I'm gonna take you out," Sapnap said getting out of his bed leading Karl to the kitchen. They met Dream in the kitchen cooking bacon and eggs for breakfast. "Ah goodmorning. Hello Karl!" Dream said happily in his usual tone.
"Hey Dream, strange seeing you in person." Karl giggled lightly, Karl and Sapnap took a seat at the table. Time flew and they all had made small talk, soon enough the breakfast was done and they ate.
"Thank you for breakfast Dream!" Karl said, Sapnap thanking his childhood friend right after.
"Go change Karl, the bathroom is down the hall upstairs on the right," Sapnap said so Karl wasn't in his sweats and a semi large hoodie on. Karl nodded, he headed upstairs, his figure faded as he was now out of sight. "So Sap, could've told me sooner that you we're inviting your boyfriend. The house is a wreck!" Dream groaned, he's always been a people pleaser, and a perfectionist.
"He's not my boyfriend Dream, me and Karl are good friends. You know that." Sapnap mumbled, cheeks a bit red. Dream made a "mhm" sound and walked into the living room. Sapnap mentally screamed, though he let out a simple sigh.

Karl came downstairs in a hawain button up shirt unbuttoned, a black shirt with a pair of shorts. "Hey! What now?" Karl said, Sapnap glanced at Karl. "Oh yeah right, lets go out to the car." Sapnap said walking outside with Karl, The brunette got in the passenger seat and the raven hair got in the drivers seat.
"Where to?" Karl asked, the hot florida weather had him sweating a bit, 91 degrees sure is hot. "You'll see," Sapnap replied. "Be patient." Karl wasn't one to be patient. "Well i'm bored" Karl said dramatically putting his arm over his eyes.
"Oh shut up, at least you look cute today." Sapnap said, instantly realizing what he said.
"What?"
"Nothing, forget i said that." Sapnap said looking away from Karl.
"No it's okay Sap, i like being called that.."
"Cute?"
"Yeah, especially by you."
Sapnaps face flushed red, he looked at Karls already red tinted face, Karl had a shit eating grin on his freckled face.
"We're here," Sapnap started. "The beach?" Karl said, "Yep!" Sapnap answered getting out of the car. He took Karl by the hands taking him to the shore, the water gleamed, chatter and noise of people around was loud but all that could be heard was them. The reflection of them sun on the clear water.
"You're pretty." Sapnap said softly.
"I am?"
"Yeah."
"Really?"
"Really."
"How am i pretty when you exist?'
"God. Shut up you sappy fuck,"
Karl giggled, "You started it,"
”I guess you have a point.” Sapnap replied with a smile. “Give me your phone.” Karl said grinning.
“Why?” Sapnap asked handing Karl his phone. “You’ll see.” He replied. Karl snapped a quick selfie of him and Sapnap standing infront of the water, he captained his tweet. “Guess who met up”
Karl than tweeted it. You can guess it instantly blew up. Thousands of likes and retweets within seconds, replys and shocked fans flew in quickly.
Lets just say their names were trending on twitter soon after the tweet.
“Jeez Karl your gonna break twitter with that, maybe even the internet.” Sapnap let out a laugh. Karl laughed. Karl set Sapnaps phone on his shirt that he just took off, luckily Karl had shorts on so he could get in the water.
Sapnap took of his shirt aswell, Karl instantly glanced over with red tinted cheeks. “Karl? Karl hello.” Sapnap said dragging out his name trying to get his attention, which he did. “Huh? Oh yeah sorry.”
”C’mon Karl lets get in the water stupid!” Sapnap laughed pulling in Karl by the hand. The two bursts out in laughter when Sapnaps hair got wet.
”You look so dumb with you hair wet.” Karl said in a joking manner. “Oh whatever pretty boy” Sapnap said with a cheeky ass grin on his face.
Karls face turned pink. “Shut up”
”You blush so easily”
“It isn’t my fault”
”It seems i make you blush every time i compliment you, do you like that Karl? Do i make you feel something?”
That sentence sure made Karl feel something. His face was redder than before his heart fell like it was explode. His breath was shallow. He stared at Sapnap not being able to find a response. His blood unfortunately ran south.
“I-I Sapnap..” Karl started. His voice soft and breath shaky. Friends acted like this right? Karl shouldn’t be feeling like this.
“Cat got your tongue?” Sapnap joked, though Karl stayed silent.
Awkwardly Karl scooted more to shore.
“Karl?”
”Uh” Karl started
Sapnap then realized the situation.
“Oh”
Karl ran off in the direction of the bathrooms leaving Sapnap there in the water. Sapnap sighed. “well fuck i fucked up.” He thought. He didn’t wanna make Karl uncomfy but that’s what he had done. He gave his fucking best friend a hard on. That’s just awkward isn’t it?
Sapnap got out of the water drying his hands off on his shirt putting his shirt on, he grabbed his phone. And Karls clothes. He noticed Karls phone was gone meaning he had it.
Sapnap sighed. He texted Karl saying he was gonna be in the car. The raven hair boy walked to the car starting it and sat down. He turned the air on since it was hot.
He rested his head on his hand, feeling bad, and guilty. He should’ve thought about Karl.
Sapnap was lost in thoughts at this point, until the car door opened causing Sapnap to jolt up.
“Hey,” Sapnap let out.
”Hi,” Karl replied getting in the passenger seat. He shifted awkwardly. Sapnap started up the car and they left the beach heading back to Sapnap and Dreams house.
“Uh.. i’m sorry Karl.” Sapnap started
”It’s fine.”
”No it isn’t.”
”I don’t mind.
“You don’t mind that your best friend gave you a hard on?”
“Well when you phrase it like that.”
”Sorry.”
“Don’t be, shit happens”
”I’m sorry for making things awkward Karl.”
”Sapnap i don’t mind it’s okay. It’s my fault for letting it happen we can forget about it alright?”
”Alright.
The two had arrived home and Karl went upstairs leaving Sapnap alone downstairs with Dream. “What happened with Karl?” Dream asked noticing that he was gone upstairs. Sapnaps eyes drew to Dreams.
”Nothing.”
”Lies. But you don’t have to tell me, hope he’s alright. Anwyay i’ll be streaming upstairs.
“okay.”
